Mary and I stopped in for breakfast this morning; my first visit. This is an old house that has been decorated in a charming manner for business use. The staff were very friendly. We both had an eggnog latte, delicious; during the Holiday season we both love eggnog lattes, and these were some of the best we have e very had, they use straight eggnog which makes a big difference, way to go! We shared a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich, delicious. We finished breakfast with a warm cinnamon roll that was awesome! Then to top it off they did the best pup-cup I have ever seen, most amazing; Cheyenne was a happy doggy. If you have not been here, you need to get in here now! read more

My husband and I got married in the area and we ordered hot coffee for our wedding guests from The Pickett Fence. The coffee was amazing quality! They made sure we had all the supplies we needed to serve our guests and the process of ordering was made so easy with quick communication. I have called ahead to order food to go and have also used the drive thru when I'm in a hurry and always receive great service! I love me a simple sandy any which way and my 5 year old son can eat a full order to biscuits and gravy to himself, it's pretty tasty! Espresso and mochas and lotus are my fave. I've been going to pickett for about 7 years. Their coffee is delicious, service is so friendly, and it's always clean and adorable inside. It is such a great place to meet up with a friend for coffee or lunch (did I mention they have delicious food???), or even just go to have a bible study on your own. Their drive through is very convenient and I am so glad that they decided to add it on! The Mudslide Mocha is currently my go-to, and it is so good. Definitely try this place out! read more

Cute little house in Deer Park....but easy to drive by. If there is signage out front, we never saw it. Appears to be a local hangout for young people. I'm sure the coffee is good. We stopped in on a gray day for soup and sandwich only to find out they weren't serving soup. The sandwich was good (build your own) but they were out of almost every soda they said we could choose. I think this is pretty much a local place. read more

CUTE!!! I've been meaning to try this place forever and finally stopped in today. We moved to the area 2 years ago from Portland, where we were completely spoiled, with amazing coffee shops that had not only great coffee but free WiFi, a comfy spot to hang out and work, and good food. It's been tough finding anything comparable out here (in Spokane, let alone Deer Park). This place was great!! Good food (turkey and Swiss croissant), good coffee (double 12 oz latte) and perfect ambiance + friendly staff. So glad I finally tried it and will definitely be coming back! read more

This will be my new go to place for lunch and coffee. I was in Deer Park last week to look at the land I bought just north of town. We will be moving out of the city were we live in Oregon soon and were visiting Deer Park for the first time. My hubby, and my best friend needed a place to get lunch and a coffee. The food was very good. The coffee was very good also. The food was made to our specifications and it came out quickly. The vibe is relaxing and the café is so cute. A special place for sure. The best thing was the gal who runs the café (she told me her name but I cannot remember it now) gave us all sorts of info about Deer Park. She grew up there and knew the lakes, places to go, things to do. She spent quite a while talking with us. She is a delightful person and her food is excellent! What a delight to find such a special place like this in our tiny new town that we will be living close to very soon. read more

Absolutely lovely. Such a wonderful atmosphere from the outside to the kitchen. Feels like you're visiting you're grandmother or a good friend. So relaxing and inviting. All the detail is very customized, fun and happy. The service was phenomenal. I'd come there any day to have my spirits lifted. Beautiful selection of teas and coffee. And yes I said tea. They had a not unlimited but unique and such an aromatic selection of teas. Very important for those warm summer days. The sandwich I had was not fancy and artisan but had that great "home" feel. Fresh and veggie packed. Everything was very clean and bright. All in all, I couldn't get enough of this place. The perfect spot to read a good book, to write one, to simply enjoy thinking about life, or take care of those pesky little errands and keep your good mood intact. Great variety of coffee and noncoffee drinks, decorated in a tasteful and interesting fashion with a book nook, TV, and water station. The baristas are personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely want you to enjoy your drink. They sell Tom Sawyer coffee, which is roasted in Spokane in small batches. Great spot to visit with a friend or grab something deluxe to go. (Most of the seats are not cushioned, but still quite comfortable.) I get my newborn and 7 year old out the door with my bestie to go have sandwiches and a yummy coffee drink. We get there at 2:55 pm and I go inside to order. This girl hands me the menu and suddenly this voice from the back says they stop serving sandwiches after 3 pm..... are you kidding me!? You are a small town business and we are literally here at 3pm, I've never been in before and you are gonna deny me food and now I don't have respect for your business. Stupid move.
