I had a case of Assault - Bodily Injury (never been in trouble a day in my life) and Nancy Botts who handled my case did absolutely NOTHING in court for the amount of money I paid her. I paid a cash bond to get a court date which was the arraignment and when the date came, I seen a BIG red flag about Nancy who lied and withheld information from me. I should have walked away then but me always trying to see good in people I decided to go forth. Second court date came court began at 9:30, Nancy called me while still in the uber at 9:32 stating I am just going to sign paperwork and do an online course, and my case will be dismissed. Not realizing until I started reading the agreement it was a pretrial intervention not what I wanted or was looking forward too and Nancy never explained that it was a PTI, just baited me to sign paperwork for easy money. I feel like I was scammed. I arrived at court 15 minutes late because of uber. Nancy tells lies for a living, so she lied to her client and didn't inform me of nothing that happened while I wasn't there in court. Nancy never showed me any video evidence , she never spoke to me about my options, never fought for me as her client and just settled for easy money and made a poor decision on my behalf while I was not yet in court. She began to become very rude with and spoke to me very harsh. Had I would have known she was a court appointed attorney I would have never hired her. Please stay away from hiring Nancy, she will not go the extra mile for a dismissal and I regret I hired her and would have paid Mr. Sullivan whatever he asked for a dismissal which is the reason I called him in the first place because of the awesome reviews. Sorry this wasn't a review for Mr. Sullivan and my success story I would have had with him. :-(

The attorney appeared unprepared and inexperienced. My partner, who had previously served time in prison, often had to explain procedures and legal matters that the attorney should have already known. We were repeatedly told that conversations had taken place with the Montgomery County District Attorney about getting the felony case dismissed with restitution, but later discovered that incarceration was actually being pushed instead. Despite paying thousands of dollars, all we seemed to get were repeated court resets with little progress. We ultimately decided to hire a different attorney, and within only a few court appearances, the charges were dismissed. I also felt the seriousness of the case was not handled appropriately. Court appearances often felt casual and unprofessional when we expected focus and urgency regarding my partner's future. After doing additional research, I discovered he is no longer associated with Dunham & Jones and now operates his own law firm. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering hiring him to do thorough research before making a decision.

I feel monetarily violated and even thinking of reporting him to the bar. Tries to sell you on how committed he is to you, but the minute you walk out the door, you never hear from him again. Never received a bill, he basically tried to intimidate me and tell me if they did a bill, it would cost me extra - what?? Tried to make you feel like he understands and cares, and didn't even show up to my mediation - he passed it to an attorney I'd never met. And when he did dial in from the car, he interrupted me when talking. It's also very distracting to see his color keep turning more and more orange - lay off the tanning bed!
