Decided to grab a quick lunch to go. Not sure how they have 4 stars we ordered a large gyro and hummus. The hummus was horrible, a weird taste and 1 piece of pita bread! The lettuce in the gyro was the white part and the meat was salty and not good flavor. I'm really disappointed. read more

We arrived into Kissimmee around 11pm after a long 8hr drive from Atlanta and were all so very hungry as we didn't stop for food on the way. After reading Yelp reviews for various late-night halal places in the area, we decided to eat at Loop Gyros. I wish I had a positive review but let me list why I did not rate this place highly: 1. We ordered two gyros and the meat in both sandwiches were very cold and didn't appear fully cooked. It definitely was not made fresh. The server did however take it back to the kitchen but it seemed like they just rewarmed the same meat and now it had become dry and chewy. At least it was fully cooked and we were hungry so ate it anyways. Midway during our meal, we realized they didn't give us any tzatziki sauce like most other gyro places. 2. We also ordered two mixed kabob platters and at the end of the meal, we realized that one order didn't have any salad dressing and the other meal lacked garlic sauce. It seemed as if they didn't pay any attention to our meal this evening. 3. I noticed the server refilling the utensil compartments and while doing so, he dropped a plastic knife onto the floor. Instead of tossing it away in the garbage, he put it back into the box of clean silverware. How disturbing! This is why they have received a 1 star rating from me! I have been going to Loop Gyro for over a year now, they are probably one of my favorite places to eat. The service is always with a smile and they are always happy to see you. The prices are very comparable, they state that they have no waiter service but if you are eating at the location and are sitting they will bring the food to you. I don't think I have ever had a meal there that I was unsatisfied with, many times I ask for a box because the amount of food is more than I can eat at one time. Loop Gyro is a very laid back place, very casual but always a great treat !!! read more

I love gyros and was happy to go in and try after I got a recommendation from my mom and boyfriend. We came in for lunch and ordered Gyro sandwich with fries and soda. Yay! we found a middle-eastern place we like in the South Orlando area. The gyros and chicken tenders were delicious and it paired well with the cleanliness of the place at a busy time. Best Gyros around! Finally stopped in and could not be more impressed with the taste and quality of the gyro. The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. The chicken mixed in(optional) was the same way. The right amount of sour cream enough for moisture but not over powering. The signature sauce at the table is the icing on the cake. Today's experience was unacceptable. After a long and exhausting day at work I came to "Loop Gyros" with the intention of easing my day. However this was not the case. To my misfortune, even though the establishment was empty I received the worst service and longest wait time. As I entered the establishment I was welcome by the employer with a warm smile. After, selecting my meal of choice I was offered the opportunity to upgrade my meal with a soda and fries, which after a long day I happily agree. :) But after I finalize my payment and received my soda cup, I was told that the machine was not working but that I could take a soda can from the fridge with my only option being a coca-cola. As I'm patiently waiting for my meal several customers come in to pick up their carry out orders, or order their meals. To my surprise a customer who walked into the establishment 10 minutes after my order placement, received his meal before me. Several more minutes pass and I noticed a larger order being put together for pick-up. After 30 minutes had passed I walk up to the cashier, who had been chatting with another customer for over 20 minutes as she waited for her carry out, and I asked how much longer it will take for my order to be ready ( 2 gyros with fires). After she turned and ask the cook, he realize that he had not even started my order after 30 minutes. I proceeded to request a refund for my meal and left. I was extremely disappointed with today's experience, I was looking forward to satisfy my cravings after a long day of work, but instead I had to leave completely unsatisfied and with out my dinner. read more

Got the gyro and 5 wing combo which is now 11.99 but you'll probably want to spend the extra 1.25 for another pita cause it's a 1/2 pound of gyro meat. It was kinda ridiculous to be honest but it was delicious. The wings are also a good size. I'd put them a little higher than ale house wings. read more

I've been to a lot of middle Eastern food stalls, and honestly, the food here is VERY bland. Whatever spices they use don't add any flavor at all, especially the chicken. And another bad part about my experience is that the service was incredibly slow...and they weren't even busy when I went in. I think my order took about minutes. read more

I've seen the ads around town, and lunchtime came around, leaving me hungry and curious about the place on all the benches...but where was it? Right next to the BJ bulk grocery store, there's a place which has "Gyros - Wings" and "PhillySteak" below that. Bit of an odd name for a gyro place, but the signage was inviting, and so I came in. It's a nice, humble little place, kept nice and clean, with bright menu boards and rather nice pictures to show what you'll get. I inspect the menu, then place my order. It's a gyro place, so why not try the specialty? The meal comes to just under $10, but I bump it up with a gratuity because why not? The drink is a paltry 16 ounces, but if you eat in, you can go and refill it, making it a nice deal. The sizzling of the meats, the decor, and even the television serve as nice distractions, and the ding! of the bell for each order ready is a nice touch. Soon enough, I get my order, and am shocked to find that unlike the pictures of the food, this gyro is PACKED with meat, left open-faced due to the sheer volume of the meat. My hungry eyes go nice and wide, and for this first-time customer, this is how I know I've found a sweet new spot to eat! The meal comes with fries as well, so I try one out. There's a nice crispness to the freshly prepared fry, a good seasoning to the fry as well. After determining how best to hold the packed pita, I try out a bite...simply put, it's delicious! The meat's zesty with a nice, greasy heft, the lettuce a nice accent, and the onions make a nice crunch. I ordered it without tomatoes, but I'm sure they would have been great, too. The tzatzki (sic?) sauce leaves a creamy accent that balances that meat well. Loop Gyros (as I later found it was called upon stepping inside) is about the best introduction to the Mediterranean food scene as I ever could have hoped, and I will most certainly be returning in the future! read more

I was excited to eat at the Loop Gyros after reading all the great yelp reviews. I had the cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink. The sandwich came out with steak cheese onions and peppers. The sandwich was served with french fries and a drink. The combo was nine dollars and the amount of food you got was worth it. The reason I'm giving it only two stars is because I found the meat to be tasteless and there we're too many peppers and too little meat on the sandwich. After reading all the great reviews I was disappointed. There are better steak and cheese sandwiches in the Kissimmee area. read more

Walked in and found the AC was broken, there was no ice in the ice machine, the girl who took our order basically ignored us and couldn't even look at me to my face after waiting 2-3 minutes just to order. She was busy talking to a guest before me who seemed to be her friend?! After we placed our order we had to wait over 30 minutes before we asked for our money back. It seemed like the cooks were refusing to make our food. They made everyone else's plate before us even the people who ordered after us. Now my boyfriend and I are colored and the whole time the cooks kept looking at us and speaking in their own language which left us with thinking they just didn't want to cook our food. We were the only colored people in there and when we asked why it took so long for our food to be cooked the cashier told us their ticket printer wasn't working... Ordered our food - the guy at the register couldn't get the order straight - they then delivered to other people that got here after us. My husband ate his food and mine was still not done.
