They offer a variety of arts and crafts classes downstairs and have over 60 juried artists that sell their art in the store. They keep a vast selection of seasonal items, as well as a nice variety of art and craft supplies, often on sale and covering various price points. Their employees never seem to mind answering questions or helping me locate something, which is a BIG deal in a store with a footprint as large as this location. Even when the checkout lanes are busy, the register people take a moment to make you feel welcome. Yes, I understand that Hobby Lobby isn't 'local' and their corporate stance on certain issues is very inclusive. But the way I see it, is it's their business, and if I didn't like their policies, I can always drive an additional 5 miles over bad roads, pay more, and have a narrow selection choice for my supplies. I figure that every one of those nice people working at H Lobby ARE local, just like me. I like that I can bring my well-mannered dog inside with me, too! That gives me plenty of time to peruse the isles in order to find exactly what it is I'm looking for, or to find something that I didn't know I needed. And Puppo enjoys carefully sniffing all the exotic items while I shop. There's plenty of parking, and space in front for loading bulky items. Plenty of Handicap parking, too!
