I felt like the staff is not interested in working with patients. I have requested to send medications to a particular location. I was told that Aspen does not have electronic connection with that pharmacy. Well, there is a fax, phone, the prescription can be printed and signed. Apparently, the secretary was not aware of other methods of communication. She also tried to sell me much more than I needed, stating that the product comes in a set of four?! I needed a guard for the lower teeth and in my previous experience it was always molded individually. The x-ray technician was another story. All parts that were supposed to go into my mouth were spread on top of the end table. No tray, paper towel. Maybe the surface was sanitized between patients, but it didn't look like it. On top of that the tech has dropped a piece on the floor. It may not be a big deal, but imagine a surgeon dropping scalpel on the floor, picking it up and continue with the surgery. Help me, Lord! there were a couple more hick ups, but even what I have described should shape your image of the place. JUST DO NOT GO THERE!

Recently, I lost an old metal filling that I originally had done as a child (I'm a military brat, so it's been around a long time). Their office worked quickly to get me scheduled, which I really appreciated given how uncomfortable that situation can be. What stood out most was their experience and confidence in dealing with older fillings. It immediately put me at ease. Dr. Sheppard also took the time to carefully discuss my medical situation--I have a heart condition and am on blood thinners--and made sure to take the appropriate precautions before moving forward. That level of attention and clinical judgment matters. The office staff was personable and helpful throughout the entire visit, which makes a big difference. And something you don't see often anymore--the doctor personally called me that evening to check in, make sure everything was okay, and ask if I needed anything. That kind of follow-up and patient care is rare. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist who is not only experienced, but genuinely attentive to their patients.

I went to the office after a google search. One of my fillings had fallen out and I needed it…read morereplaced ASAP. I made an appointment with this office the next day I was excited to get it fixed. But it did not happen the first visit. Dr. Drummond just looked at it and scheduled me for another appointment for repair. I was very disappointed with the repair including tha mount of pain, healing time, and how large the gap was left, and having to floss after eating anything. My Xrays found 2 other small cavities that needed to be fixed. I made a particular point of telling him to please not let this happen again. But now, I have 4 spots in my mouth that catch food when I eat. Gross. Also one of the fillings was too high and I might have cracked my tooth because of it. (Crown comes next) I headed out of state to have my prior dentist repair it. Did I mention that this all took 5 visits? Shame on me for ever going to a dentist without a recommendation. I do feel badly that this rating is so low, as the in house hygienist was great.
