On 05/10/24 I saw you Ghaya Devaraj for Rx refills of BP meds. She took blood, did a pap smear and…read moretold me I was in "Stage 3 LIVER failure." She explained to me the liver should function at 100% but mine was only functioning at 49. I was freaked out to say the least. She referred me to a Nephrologist (specialist in kidneys, not liver) so I assumed they handled diseases for both organs. The research I did said the damage was irreversible and Stage 3 Liver failure was also cirrhosis. All I could think of was that I didn't even drink! I saw the Nephrology Specialist today who said perhaps she 'misspoke' but she had this in writing that my issue was with my liver. The Nephrologist received information that the referral from her was to check on my kidneys. I had to pay $50 to see him after I'd already paid to see her only to find out she misdiagnosed me completely. Not only is there no issue with my Liver but also no issue with my kidneys. She caused me undue stress and I am very upset about this. It wasn't a little thing - those are 2 completely different organs!!!

Sunday night: sneezing, then cough, then fever. Could it be COVID? Do I really want a coat hanger…read morerammed up my nose to find out? No, not really. But for the sake of those around me, it has to be done. Go online look for COVID testing. A hundred places pop up *sigh*. Well this place is super close to my house. It took about three hours to reach someone on the online chat (minus one star). I was given an appointment for the following day. Really dreading this! I showed up at my appointment time. All of this of course is done while you're in your car. I had a lot of trepidation. I mean everyone looked so young. But then, I'm 65 so everyone looks so young. I was directed to a parking space and handed a form. From the start, everyone was super friendly which was surprising since they're risking their lives right? After a few minutes another staff came to take blood oxygen levels. Also super kind and friendly. Smiling even. This really set me at ease and helped me keep my mind off of what was to come. She left, and a few minutes later another friend young lady came by. She had the series of questions you get asked, and then she pulled out the swabs. The part I was dreading. I followed her simple instructions and low and behold, it wasn't bad at all! There were four nasal swabs and one throat swab. She was so kind, gentle, and professional. 30 minutes later, the results were in. The doctor approached my car. Super super nice, not condescending and no attitude. A real caring individual. He told me I was negative for the flu. I fire they always give you the good news first. I was positive for COVID AND STREP! No wonder I was feeling so crappy! If you're in the neighborhood and want a lot of hand-holding through this, come here. I like these people. Hate that I'm sick but appreciated not being treated like a number.

This place is terrible they all have bad customer service skills and are obviously just trying to…read moretake your money. I wish I would've read the reviews before making an appointment for my husband. It makes total sense now that these yelp reviews do not show up when you look it up on the Apple map. My husband and I went to a dr.s appointment made with dr. Barzin. I previous called to make sure they took his insurance before going in. My first mistake was not listening to my gut instinct. The lady who booked the appointment notified me that she didn't know if they took my insurance but in the case they didn't they would call me. We never got a call so we assumed they would take it. I called the morning of his appointment to double check. To my surprised nobody answered the phone after several calls. The black lady that kept directing my call was very rude and apparently couldn't answer any of my questions. We went in anyways and asked the front desk guy David, if they accepted my husband's insurance since no one ever called to assure us they did. He said of course and we wouldn't pay anything today. Gave my husband some paperwork to fill out and we waited till he was called back. I made sure that he wrote on the paper work the reason for his visit. He had been having knee pains and we wanted to get it addressed as well as other health concerns. They called him back and a few minutes later he was back out. I thought that was fairly quick for someone that hadn't been to the dr. In about 9 months. He was known to have some health issues so I was sure they would look into it and maybe do some tests. But no Dr. Barzin popped into the room for 3 mins. Just to tell him they weren't taking his blood work since he already had his blood taken in June. She then left and the medical assistant came in to tell my husband she was just going to take his blood pressure. Never did they ask about any of the other concerns he had. He sent him to the front with a zeroed out paper just to find out he was still going to be charged a co-pay. Which was beyond me. They billed his insurance for $300 just to take his blood pressure. And then asked for $30 in copay fees. I called once we got home thinking he got all his questions answered but apparently they just tried to get him in and out. I was so furious that they didn't monitor his cholesterol at all. As someone who has high cholesterol my dr. Checks it every three months to make sure it's not too high. But apparently these people refused to even check it. You think the medical assistant would have common sense to check that at least. I spoke to Dr. Barzins medical assistant and she told me they couldn't check it because he ate before he came in. In my opinion is total nonsense. She apparently didn't want to do the work. I asked her if she even asked him the stuff we checked off on the paper work given to us. She stated no I didn't. Have to. I don't understand what the purpose of having patients fill that out if they won't even read it. These people are just horrible and combative. This place is a joke. Dr. Barzins medical assistant the Hispanic, heavier set women with the curly hair was very rude. Does not have any type of manners and decided to hang up on me after I asked her why she didn't even read the paperwork fill out with my husbands concerns. I would advise anyone to stay away from here definitely not worth the waste of money. Just to be seen by a medical assistant and checked in by a snarky front desk guy.

This is my backup Dr when I can't get off of work or my Dr is out of the office. They have a group…read moreof physicians who are very thorough and will always be on top of things. They are open on Saturday so I can always get in during that time. They have also opened an allergy clinic where you can administer your own shots. This is perfect for that busy person who doesn't want to sit around for hours waiting to see if you have a reaction to your last shot. They simply show you what needs to be done and you return once you have completed your vial. The allergy staff is great and always flexible. It isn't in the nicest part of town but the office itself is great. It is a clinic type of setting which is why I try to only go on Saturday so I can get in and out. The allergy clinic is separate so you can get in and out without dealing with the lines or crowds of sick people.
