I have to correct and change my original review due to the fact that the 15 Arborvitae trees they planted only 5 took root, the other 10 just dried out and died after hundreds of dollars spent in watering and fertilizer. I always questioned why the left the plastic wrapping on the root ball but they assured me it would automatically disintegrate during watering. They came back, dug out all the dead ones and replaced them with another brand wIch got planted again with the plastic wrap around the root ball. They told me to wait six months to 12 months for positive results, but the same results ensued with the 10 new trees dying and now causing a fire liability. Why they did not remove the plastic from the root ball is beyond understanding but I am told that it is the reason why the trees died. After 12 months I contacted them again but they quit answering. Total expense was over $2000 DOWN the drain. I can vouch for their courtesy and politeness but I definitely DON'T RECOMMEND THE QUALITY OF THEIR TREES OR KNOWLEDGE. Original post. I've purchased from this nursery in the past and always found them pleasant. This Spring we bought four plants and paid an extra 250.00 ($$$$) to have them delivered and planted. Later that day they delivered six plants and installed all of them. They then accused us of "knowing we bought four but planting six" and said they were going to "come and remove them" if we didn't pay for them. Bottom line: they threatened to trespass on our property and remove two plants. Trespassing is illegal and threatening a customer is terrible. They made a mistake when they delivered more than what we purchased and rather than working with us they threatened us. Really? We paid for the extra two plants after realizing the error (that was completely theirs) but their conduct was unprofessional. I won't use this nursery again and I do not recommend them. read more

My personal rating of Lopez Nursery is A++. I met the owner, Luis, when I stopped in at the nursery. Luis is very personable, genuinely listened to what I wanted help with for the undeveloped backyard of my new home, was very helpful, and reassured me that he could fit my project into their existing schedule. I was further impressed that he sources most of his plants, shrubs, and trees from Tsugawa's in Woodland, from which I had obtained stock for many years due to their wide variety and quality. After completing my design and selecting the final 54 plants, shrubs, and trees at Tsugawa's, Luis started my project in his original time projection. Luis was on site each day to make sure that all was proceeding as planned, plus suggested slight alternatives that would also save me money. Luis' communication and use of his app were great for providing me updates about arrival times, etc. Sergio and Josue did an excellent job, along with Luis' direction and help to perfectly bring my low-maintenance design to life!! My project included paver pathways, paver platforms, in-ground irrigation with emitters for each plant/shrub to conserve water consumption, application of landscape fabric to control weeds and unwanted grass, soil improvement, planting, and rubber mulch application. I have received rave compliments from friends and neighbors. This experience was so appreciated because prior to that I had contacted other landscapers who were months out before they could work me in or had issues with me doing the design and selecting the planting materials. My neighbor recommended Luis Lopez so we went out to his nursery and met with him. He came out that week and looked over my yard problems: sprinkler system, lighting, pavers and plant replacement. He reviewed my situation and came up with an estimate and I had him come out and fix my yard. He also upgraded my sprinkler control system and showed me how to use it remotely with an app. He finished very quickly and it was done very well. I had him come back again to replace my transformer box and he did that straightaway. What I like about Luis is he is personable, has great customer service skills, is very competent and smart, comfortable working with hardscape, water, electrical. Quoting was accurate. Scheduling was very timely (within a few days). His team was very professional. They arrived on time as communicated. They installed 40+ aborvitae trees in just a few hours (and drip line) in a tight space and on rough ground. He also made sure to communicate watering interval and maintenance required to ensure the best chance for the trees to thrive. Be very careful working with these guys. We ordered 12 large 6'-8' trees for a privacy wall, and they were quick to quote, not only for the trees, but they will plant them as well. This would have been great! So we accepted the quote, set a date for delivery and planting. Ten minutes before they are supposed to be there, we get a text from Luis, asking if they can come tomorrow, because they are behind do to weather. Understandable, and we agree that the following day will work. We had to reschedule a couple things, but we want to work with them. The next day 15 minutes before they are supposed to be there, they call and say it's raining and it wouldn't be a good day to plant the the trees. Although disappointed, we decided to reschedule. Now the only date they have is during the work week, on a Monday. So my Wife and I take the day off of work, so we can assist if needed. They are supposed to be there at 9 am! We get up early, make sure they have a nice clean walk way to the area where the trees are supposed to be planted. Now we wait! 930 am we call the business line, and the lady that answered the phone said she would find out when they will be there. 1030 we call back, but they won't answer. So I call from my other cell, and they answer right away. Again assuring me they will find out when they will be there, and they will call me back in few min. 1100 we call Luis Lopez the owner/bidder/scheduler leave the 3rd message. Then called the main line, with no answer. 330 pm Still nothing. Now we have left a message that all we need to know is are you or are you not coming. Do yo not want the work? Nothing No call back! No response via text! Promise of dates, with no follow through. I wouldn't recommend doing any kid of business with these guys. As it stands we are debating on small claims court for reimbursement for the lose of work for a day. We have the agreement in text. We even told Luis we would have to take the day off so we could meet him. He said he would be there. read more

I was in a time crunch shopping for a variety of shrubs plants and trees. They answered immediately and I sent them the list I had made. Shortly after I received a call stating they had all but one plant in stock and that if I would wait a couple of days I could get it. I decide to forgo it and bought the rest on my list. They were one of the three nurseries in the area (snohomish and skagit county) that had almost my entire list. These guys provided an excellent service experience and were knowledgeable about the products they carried. I highly recommend them. read more
