Dr. Lopez performed two surgeries on my arms. The first was done through axilla (armpit) incisions. While this approach is often preferred, not every patient is a good candidate. Two board certified plastic surgeons I consulted prior had told me I was not a candidate and would not be happy with the results, therefore they would not perform that specific surgery on me. Dr. Lopez, however, assured me I would achieve the outcomes I wanted. After the surgery and a year later, I was in fact very unhappy with the results as they didn't even come close to what I wanted or what Dr. Lopez had assured me I would receive. In many ways, my arms looked worse. Dr. Lopez continued to tell me there was nothing more she could do except for a traditional brachioplasty which I did not want. Given the way my arms looked post surgery, I felt I did not have a choice at that point. Dr. Lopez continued to point out that at least my arms looked "better in clothes". However, that was not what I was promised, nor what I paid for. One year after the first surgery, she performed a second surgery, a traditional brachioplasty. The results were still poor. At that point, and the end of the second year, I then sought multiple evaluations from other board-certified plastic surgeons. All agreed: the results I was left with were not acceptable, substandard, and definitely not what I had paid for. Dr. Lopez offered yet a third surgery, at an additional charge. However, at that point I had lost confidence in her skills and ability. I then began looking for someone who would be able to repair the damage. He quoted me the cost to repair the damage of two botched surgeries. Rather than asking for a full refund, I only requested reimbursement for the exact amount I would need to pay for the corrective surgery. Dr. Lopez refused. In my experience, most plastic surgeons will work with patients or provide refunds when the results are clearly unacceptable. Dr. Lopez did not. Bottom line: Had I known then what I know now, I would never have scheduled surgery with her...even if it had been free. Do your homework. In my opinion, Dr. Lopez talks a good game, but at least in this situation, did not have the skills to deliver and at my expense. Strongly consider another surgeon. read more

I successfully sued Dr. Lopez for putting my naked before and after photos online without my permission. When you googled my name and business name, my naked photos were the first thing shown. I have tried to silently move past this, but can not until I warn others what happened. Dr. Lopez was negligent in her business as proven in our trial together. Due to her not protecting my privacy I have been humiliated, violated and exposed. Up until the literal last second of the trial the doctor, her staff and attorney were still fighting that they did nothing wrong when my attorney proved their negligence and THEY named my JPEG's with my name which made it searchable through google....they are solely responsible not the computer company that they blamed...it was proven in court...they actually got busted very hard LYING about it under oath on the witness stand...it's a fact and can be read in the transcripts. This bothers me because when you can not admit what you did you can not change your negligent mentality and behavior. A sorry means nothing when you can not admit your wrong doing!!!! I get that she will reply and state that they have new policies in place and that's great!!!! I hope she does and this never happens to anybody else...but again...based on the facts of the trial and how extremely negligent she is in paying attention to the policies (she had zero and I mean zero policies in place to protect me and other clients when I went to her which can also be read about in the transcripts) and her lack of ability to take responsibility....I have a hard time trusting her word. She did NOTHING to ensure protection of my privacy and per facts during the trial and what she told me the day I saw my naked before and after photos online when you google my name...it happened to others as well! Regarding her website she paid attention to Google analytics and bringing more money in and not her policies that she wrote out herself and protecting her actual clients. In all of the years she has been in business she didn't even follow her own policies...not once in that time....until I discovered what happened. This means that every person that was on her website during that time was exposed. At one point she actually told me she didn't pay attention to her website (she asked my opinion on the look of it). Well, when you are a plastic surgeon and are the SOLE person responsible for your website with naked bodies on it...YOU PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR WEBSITE....and not just Google analytics and how much money it's bringing in!! The end result of that was my naked body put online for the world to see...the end result was me getting humiliated and violated!!! Please read about what happened. I strongly advise not using Dr. Lopez her business ethics are very scary. I have a feeling the doctor will reply to this and spin it to her innocence just like she did in court, but it was a public trial and if you need to further research the truth before deciding to use her, I urge you to read the facts of the trial at the courthouse in Fresno. Let me first start by saying that Dr. Lopez really cares and she has consistently gone above and beyond to help me choose what services were really best suited for me. I drive 3 and 45 min from San Mateo County in order to have the gifted hands and eyes of Dr. Lopez do her magic to restore and rejuvenate the youthful appearance of my face and also to reduce thick scars I was left with from a breast lift 2 years ago. At 40 years old I felt terrible because my face was dull and had begun to look tired. Specifically the area under my eyes and the area of my cheeks in toward my nose had lost a little bit of volume which caused me to look sad, tired and less youthful. Additionally my bottom lip had lost its natural volume and no longer matched my naturally full upper lip. Dr. Lopez performed PRP injections in my tear trough, bottom lip and also used some of the PRP to perform micro-needling with the derma pen all over my face. My bottom lip gained volume immediately and continued to improve over the next month. My bottom lip has achieved the desired plumpness and now matches my upper lip nicely, if it continues to plump a bit that would be fine by me but if not I am very happy with the results that I currently have now. The area that lost volume under my eyes and cheeks has filled in nicely and I am continuing to see improvement in this area every day and I am extremely satisfied with these results too. After a full three months or so if I do desire a bit more volume in the cheek area we will use a tiny bit of a filler to complement the collagen building effects from the PRP injections. However, If things like fillers did not exist I can honestly say that I am already extremely happy with the plumping effect from the PRP injections as it has given me back the desired youthful appearance I was seeking in the exact areas that concerned me. The exciting part is that I still have another 2 months of additional collagen plumping, skin and completion improvements to look forward to from the PRP injections. Five weeks after she performed all of the above mentioned I came back for another derma pen session to my face which was enhanced with PPP that was left over from the PRP injections I had done 5 weeks earlier. When I showed up for my 2ndappointment with Dr. Lopez my skin was glowing and I no longer looked dull. That glow was all from the first micro-needling session with the derma pen and I was definitely enjoying showing it off and feeling very good about myself and the results. At this 2nd session she also worked on my scars I was left with on my breast from a breast lift with the derma pen. Two days later I noticed improvement of my breast tissue plumping in the areas underneath where the scars were the thickest. It seemed as though the derma pen helped to release some of the constricted areas under the thick scars so the breast could expand as it naturally would if the thick scar had not been constricting it. I will be going back again in 8 weeks for Dr. Lopez to do some deeper micro-needling with the derma pen to see if it will provide even more release of my breast tissue under the thickened scars. Dr. Lopez also injected my glabellas (# 11's between the eye brows) with botox which I hadn't had done in 6 years. I had my injections 3 days ago and already I can see the effect and it looks outstanding. My forehead does not look funny when the areas around the botxed areas move like it did the previous 2 times I had botox. The only reason I can think of as to why I did not like how I looked when I had botox previously is because two times I had botox it had been injected by dermatologists. I will never have botox injected by a dermatologist again. Going forward I will only allow a cosmetic surgeon, specifically Dr. Lopez, do my botox injections for as long as she will let me book appointments with her. Basically, if it isn't already clear, I am absolutely blown away by Dr. Lopez's medical spa skills and authentic desire to only perform services that will truly provide the rejuvenating results I seek. I have been to several dermatologists in the past 7 years who have used everything from Thermage, Botox, Restylane, Juvaderm and Sculptra and I can honestly say I never saw improvements in my face nor did I look better after the treatments. Instead I felt like I was wasting my money and as a result I did not go back for more medical spa services from them. I visited Dr. Lopez because my hair was thinning and falling out at an alarming rate starting in my late 30's. When I spoke to Dr. Lopez about my concern she was very understanding and supportive. I visited Dr. Lopez for the first time 2 weeks ago for some fillers and botox. I am loving my results, Dr. Lopez did an amazing job. She gave me the look that I wanted.
