She, the guardian, and her dad, the veteran, were on the manifest for an Honor Flight Cleveland flight to Washington DC on October 15th. Not being from the area, she googled transportation to the airport at 3:30 AM, gave Danny a call and made a reservation. She probably texted him a dozen times, paranoid that something may go wrong and she and her dad would miss this opportunity of a lifetime. Danny was very kind and patient, and assured and reassured her that it would be fine. Well it was better than fine. Toni was their driver who was actually 7 minutes early for the 2:45AM pickup after confirmation texts the day before and another one when he was on his way. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, Toni opened our doors for us, he chatted with us about the area and his different jobs and his skating and the trip, even though it wasn't a very long one to begin with, was over in a blink. Tried calling them all day, no answer. By the time we got to the airport at 1:00 in the morning nobody was there. I had my kids and 3 & 5 year old grand kids with no way home. I had to call two ubers to get all of us home. 95.00 each after 2:00am. I went to their office to get a reason for the no show. The lady said she wasn't in on saturday. They did refund the return trip money but wouldn't pay for the ubers. I've used them in the past but never again. They should take the reliable name off their company. Dave Esser

They call me…read morethe night before my wedding at 6pm, while I'm at my rehearsal and tell me that the bus I rented hasn't been working since MONDAY. They gave me absolutely no notice. They gave me a smaller bus where some people who originally planned to ride, got told that there wasn't room anymore for them. They gave a little refund for the incident. We forgot a few things on the bus and they won't answer any calls. I've called three times within the last 2 weeks since my wedding.

I have used GPS navigation apps since they were first available. The Lyft navigation app is the…read moremost dangerous I have ever used. Instructions are vague "Take the Exit", but not which exit, you need to study the app not the road to see which exit. Instructed to do a "U" turn at the busiest crossroad in rush hour. The app will not re-calculate when you pick up a passenger, I had the map going round in circles because it didn't know where I was. Long road trips take many more hours than needed, had a trip take 2.45 hrs longer than it should because it sent me through a different state to come back to the final destination, most long trips have the same problem, passengers get very upset for the time taken for even local trips. The app will always have you pick up a ride or drop off on the left, even on a busy road facing traffic. You need to have the phone connected to power all the time you use Lyft, without it will go from 100% to 0% in 2 hours. Get insults like "Keep your phone out of Airplane mode", "Connection issues" when there are many other drivers waiting for rides in the same area.

I drove myself (fortunately close enough). Only later did I find an email (which could not have been delivered before 9:00PM on the 16th) that my ride was canceled by the driver. If they had texted me I would have ended up doing the same thing -- driving myself and having a friend pick me up, and coming back later for my car -- but I wouldn't have been pacing around on the street at 5:30AM waiting.
