I asked, "aren't you supposed to rinse that off first" and she rudely said "no... it's barbicide" like yes I can read thank you. My scalp started to burn as I was sitting on the chair longer and longer. I did a quick Google and sure enough the combs are supposed to be washed off before use. I attached pictures of my Google search to prove this is not ok practice. Not to mention the comb she was using looked like it was ten years old and had broken prongs. Not sure how you can get a proper cut while using a comb that's broken. To top it all off, not once was I asked if the water was ok while she was washing my hair. I had to ask twice for her to turn the temperature down. She didn't ask if I wanted my hair blow dried and just started doing it. She didn't ask how I wanted it styled and just turned on the straightener. When I said "oh you dont need to straighten it, I don't like using heat on my hair" she got snippy and said "ok you can just follow me then." And turned the straightener off. When I was being checked out I was not asked how the service or my experience was and was basically just given the price and told me I can read the monitor. Horrible experience. Let's hope my scalp is okay and I don't need to go to the doctor!!!!

They have large driveway for parking. I brought my daughter in with me and we were greeted right away. I believe the owner took care of my wax. They allowed my daughter to sit in a comfy chair while she worked on my brows. She was super friendly and so gentle on my wax. It was most painless wax I ever had. And I loved the results. I recently went to their website to schedule a haircut and was surprised that the cost of a men's cut had been increased by 33% ($15 to $20). We all know about inflation so an increase of a few dollars would have been reasonable. The stylist justified why she gave me streaky 1996 highlights but it didn't matter because at the end of the day, my hair looked NOTHING like the inspo photo. To fix it, the stylist spent 2.5 hours applying an all over base color, then lifting that with a balyage (kind of) bleach and then toning it so much that I ended up leaving with plain brown hair. My hair was plain brown to begin with and now it has a ton of damage and is still plain brown. I wouldn't recommend this salon for anything trendy or modern.

She is kind, easy going, professional and a joy to communicate with. In most of my past salon experiences I have been pressured to change my hair color or cut my hair short. Bonnie does none of this! She listens carefully to my hair preferences and offers suggestions, however never pressures me. Every time I come to this salon I feel relaxed and I'm grateful that the prices are fair.
