Necessary precursor for COVID: he arrived in a mask, no hugging, no handshakes, super professional. Also, brought a change of shoes, which was nice, even though my house looks like a bomb went off in it anyways. I posted through Yelp looking for someone to install an outlet to replace a range in my kitchen. I had a few people reach out, and I reached outside of Yelp as well (which was a failure) - but Jason hit me up right away, had a scheduled time ready to come over and check out what I needed. I *assumed* it'd be a quick once over of the project, an estimate, and I'd continue my hunt when I don't get a call back. Instead, he was ready to go when he showed up - he saw the work that needed done, gave me an estimate for time + parts and hammered it out FAST (including running out to pick up a couple parts). So before he left, I had one OTHER immediate electrical project I needed - I attempted to fix my ceiling fan light and it no longer worked - he found it was a faulty socket (something I didn't know to check!) and tightened my wire work, and had it hammered out as well! Plain and simple - Jason was in and out, and knocked two items that have been weighing on me since the new year. After having a couple of bad outlets, I was frustrated and thought this is it, I'm going to spend some money to get it fixed. So, after less than a half hour, "you got a bad GFCI," he says. He gave me a quote on the spot. Maybe I was just lucky but Jason not only saved me a lot of money (according to friends based on the price), he gave me knowledge bombs on how it works! Good and honest electricians are hard to come by and it's nice to know we have one in the area (especially for people like me who rely on others to fix things). On the afternoon of 08/10/2021, I found Lords of Thunder Electrical Services, LLC on the internet and completed their websites form requesting a quote for two new 220v volt circuits (HVAC mini-split and a hot-tub), a 50 amp RV plug-in on the exterior of the garage and several other electrical items inside the home. First thing the following morning I received an email from Jason B. requesting I call or text him. I texted him and an appointment was set for August 12th between 2:30 and 3:30 PM. I made sure to be home by 2:00 PM. At 4:41 PM (over an hour after we were supposed to have met) Jason texted me saying he was busy on another job, unable to break away and would contact me on Friday, August 13th or Saturday, August 14th. I made sure to stick around the area of my home Friday and I cancelled plans with family at Indian Lake (an hour from home) on Saturday. I never heard anything back. read more

As a first time homebuyer, I'd never called an electrician before. I only knew horror stories from others of $1000+ bills. So, of course, I was anxious. Did my homework reviewing local companies. The name definitely stuck out (as well as other lovely reviews), so I called up Lords of Thunder. Jason is very upfront about his prices, which I definitely appreciated. He came out a few days later and got to work. I bought an older house, where everything was supposedly "brought up to code" (I'm starting to think that's just a gimmick). He started investigating from the source, and followed everything along to find the issue. He was so detailed, and searched the house from basement to attic looking for the issues. Two hours of work and he found the problems, fixed them, and had a report written out of everything he did. And the price was very VERY reasonable.
