Our 20yr old HVAC system was undersized by the builder and needing replacement. Wolfe Innovations came to our house very quickly and provided two options/recommendations for upgrading both the furnace and AC. A couple days later, we had questions about the systems quoted vs the systems that other companies were suggesting. Mr. Wolfe answered our questions honestly and quickly. The internet said that the critical part of any HVAC system is who installs it and it was clear from our discussions that Mr. Wolfe is an expert. We chose one of Wolfe Innovation's options. Mr. Wolfe and his team installed the new HVAC system in one day. The system has been quiet, running great and keeping our house cooler than it has ever been. Very satisfied. Update Dec 2021: Lost heat during the night and called Mr. Wolfe for help at about 5:30am. He phoned back a few minutes later and walked me through changing the batteries in the thermostat, which was the cause of the problem. If that wasn't the cause, Mr. Wolfe was preparing to be at my house pronto to get the system up and running again. I woke on a chilly Saturday morning to my furnace blowing out cool air. I had one of the large HVAC companies in town (they run annoying TV spots featuring their phone number) come out to take a look. After the technician had been working on my furnace for more than an hour and a half, he presented me with a quote to replace the heat exchanger and high limit switch for $4300. I sent him on his way, wanting a second opinion, which I got from Tim Wolfe. He said everything looked good except that my furnace flue was full of debris. He cleaned it out and the furnace has been working perfectly ever since (more than a month ago). He said eventually I might need to replace two sensors, which cost about a buck apiece. He said he'd purchase so he has them on hand when I need them, and to just give him a call. I tried to pay him for coming out but he refused. What a stand-up, knowledgeable, and kind guy! We had a carbon monoxide leak at 12:30am Tuesday. The fire department had evacuated us, cleared the house and Columbia turned off the gas. It was determined the leak was from the furnace. I had submitted a Yelp inquiry around 6:45am the same day and Tim and responded within ten minutes saying he would make us priority. He was there by 9am and was friendly and honest. Was quoted a very low price and was told he'd be back the next day with a new unit to install. He even let us use three badass space heaters to get through the night and offered to work with us on a payment plan. I will definitely use him in the future and will refer family and friends. Had a bad experience with one of the large companies in town. Just moved to this house with virtually no airflow to the main bedroom. They convince us to get a new furnace- did an absolute terrible installation job. Left tons of leaks etc- they never even checked the ductwork in the attic. Absolutely no difference after the new furnace is installed. Called up Wolfe innovations to get a second opinion, he quickly identifies the problem was simply a blocked air return!
