The discharge nurse at the ER recommended Dr. Burkich for the wonderful care she provided for her own son. We called on a Monday morning at 9am, and they had my daughter in at 2pm that day. The whole staff was efficient, kind, attentive, thorough, and helpful. Dr. Burkich was gentle and they explained everything as they were doing it. They got us in again in the morning the following day for more work. We were amazed, and my daughter kept saying how much she loves people in New York. We are so grateful!

I've given birth to 4 human beings, and still the dentist office scares me more. Its a legitimate problem. After a horrendous experience a few years ago at Aspen Dental (dont ever go there!), I found Dr. Milza! He's amazing, and so is his staff. He's fast and friendly and kind and gentle. He treats everyone like a person, with feelings. And is so sincere. I actually stopped taking my children to the pediatric dentist and now they all go to Dr. Milza and really do love going. Finally, after going over my information again and again, I was found in their system. My appointment was in 2023, so I would need X-rays and a consult, and "maybe" the doctor would address my painful, cracked tooth. April informed me that they only have one dentist now who's very busy! Still, I agreed to the appointment, because I'm in PAIN but what happens next? She says, oh do you still have the same insurance? We don't except that, so you'll have to pay up front for your new patient visit and X-rays! Of course, I told her to cancel my appointment, Isn't it better to just be upfront and honest? Why not say this right from the beginning when I made the appointment that they couldn't find my records?? Why didn't they say they they didn't accept my insurance when I did my pre visit sign in?? I think that it's a combination of drinking fluorinated water, getting fluoride treatments as a kid, brushing/flossing regularly and yes...some luck. I've never had a cavity in spite of some lapses in my getting cleanings over the years. Now that I am a little bit older, I try to keep up with it. I have been visiting a different location (same practice) in the area, however, Heather...the dental hygienist...also works out of this office. I basically follow Heather wherever she goes. Earlier this week I had my overdue appointment for a cleaning and, as always, Heather did a marvelous job. I don't have the fear of dentists that many others do... simply because I have never had a cavity (nor any major dental work ...with the exception of having my wisdom teeth removed a long, long time ago). When I met the dentist herself... I believe it was Dr. Smith... I was very happy with her expertise and approach. I had to go back for a brief visit the following day for a preventative procedure and even that was a good experience. They are very serious about Covid protocols which makes me very comfortable/happy. This particular office is actually much more convenient to where I live, so I plan on making this my primary dentist location moving forward. I highly recommend.

I recently needed a root canal done and since I've never had a root canal, I checked out dentist in…read moremy area. Out of all the reviews that I have found, I found Dr. William Lyons (DDS). I had my root canal done today by Dr. Lyons and I have to say, that I have had a very, very pleasant experience. Dr. Lyons, and his assistant Sage were terrific. I was done in around 30 minutes and during the procedure, Dr. Lyons would make sure that I was comfortable. He would also ask I was in any pain. Not at all! He explained everything to me while showing me the xrays that he took. I have had my teeth cleaned by my regular dentist and she does a great and thorough job but I would ask her if she was digging for clams... I can't stress enough that if you need a root canal, you have to get it done here at Dr. Lyons office He is right in Queensbury, NY. It was just a very pleasant, professional experience. I recommend highly! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Lyons for making my first and only root canal a very comfortable, non-pain experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Franklin's for several years for routine dental care of cleanings and…read morefillings. I absolutely love him and the team because of there high level of professionalism and care, until today. Dr Franklin is out on leave, there is a fill- in dentist for him, Dr Valerio, and I had a younger hygienist whom I have never seen here before, Sarah. I came today for a routine cleaning. Long story short, for the first time ever, I had my teeth "measured" before my cleaning. Okay, no problem at all. She accidentally poked my gums a little too hard, which she actually apologized for, and of course it started bleeding. Still, not at all a problem. After measuring, she informed me that because my gums bled, that the next time, I needed a deep scaling cleaning that would require numbing. I pay out of pocket and politely asked more about the scaling and numbing and questioned about the gums bleeding maybe from her poking too hard? She seemed offended and told me that measuring gums is part of the cleaning routine and I said that I never had my gums measured here before a cleaning. "Well you should have" was the response and she abruptly left the room. (?) I waited a few minutes and Dr Valerio came in and asked "what's the problem"? I said, problem? There isn't a problem, I'm only here for a routine cleaning. Personally, I think the hygienist grossly exaggerated our conversation because he went on about how it's their responsibility for dental care etc which I truly agreed and understood but I felt I should have been allowed to ask questions. It was very clear they didn't think I should ask questions, as if I was questioning their authority. (?) I was a really surprised at what was unravelling here. When Dr Valerio left the room, Sarah took her seat and now I'm afraid that she is going to intentionally hurt me. I said "I'm only here for a cleaning and" then she cut me off, started escalating and said "You accused me of STABBING you" (I would never say that), she then proceeded to argue with me about our conversation and abruptly left the room again. This time Dr Valerio came in and said that I can't have my cleaning today because I'm arguing with the hygienist. Wow, I was just astonished. I'm in total disbelief that such a combative and unprofessional duo are employed at Dr. Franklin's office. Never again, I wont' be back and that sincerely bothers me because I really loved Dr Franklin and his team.

So I was talked into doing both x rays and my hygienist said that my insurance covered the treatment in full. That made me feel great until I received the bill and realized that I was deceived by first advantage dental staff because my insurance covered not even a quarter of the services they provided which was just a cleaning and the x rays.
