I had never seen Dr. Kim before, but despite being a new patient, he got me in within 2 hours of calling and saw me at 9PM (yes, that late!). He and his assistant were so caring and skilled that this horrible experience wasn't nearly as horrible as it could have been. They stayed until almost midnight working on this stubborn, sadistic tooth. It was such a relief to finally have this tooth extracted. It was my first time ever having an extraction, so I was nervous, especially being at a brand new place. Dr. Kim quickly assuaged my concerns. He shares an office space with Starlite dental (ironic since he is my new favorite night dentist). The office is clean, has TVs on the ceiling and is well-appointed. I look forward to checking out his practice during regular business hours to pamper my better behaved teeth. I was thrilled to know he does normal dental work, as well. Besides being awesome at dentistry, he is also an awesome person. My dental insurance was maxed out, so the timing for this ordeal couldn't be worse (especially since I was due to leave on a trip the next morning). He charged me less than what I would have expected to pay WITH insurance. He shared a little about why he started this after hours business, and it boiled down to him wanting to provide excellent care when people needed it without them having to bankrupt themselves to pay for it.
