The facility was clean, but overall it wasn't worth the drive or the price. The worst part of the experience was the parking attendant charging me twice and then physically preventing me from leaving while I was receiving notifications from my bank about the duplicate charges. Completely unacceptable. Overall, it was far too expensive for what was offered. Save your money and get a great massage elsewhere, or spend the day at Burke Williams where you'll get much better value and a more enjoyable spa experience.

She really is so talented I had very peaceful experience. She really worked on the areas I needed with special care and was careful around my rotator cuff she really relaxed me to the point I nearly fell asleep. I never feel relaxed during a massage. I'm definitely coming back to see her . My earlier experience at the pool was not a five star horrible service couldn't even get a glass of water for the first two hours nobody asked if we needed anything. The waiter never brought us our drinks and then blamed it on his "pen" not working. The water lady just sat there doing nothing. Thank God Chevron saved the day !

I have to admit that this location is the nicest one I've been to. It's spacious and very fresh and clean in all the different areas of the spa. They have a nice and relaxing waiting co-ed lounge where you can have some tea, juice, fruit infused water and fruit. The amenities are not co-ed. There is a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, and plenty of showers. Everything is kept very clean so that is very much appreciated. The staff were all very nice and helpful as well. They do validate parking for the parking structure that is within the Topanga Village (don't park in the outside 90 min parking, instead drive up into the structure towards Total Wines). I am definitely coming back to this location, even though there are several other Burke Williams locations closer to me.

It's disappointing that I'm even writing this review because I've always had positive experiences…read moreat Burke Williams. I've visited several locations over the years, including Woodland Hills, and I was even a member for a few years. Because of that, I had high expectations, which made this experience even more disappointing. I had a massage confirmed for 1:45 PM by both email and a phone call from Burke Williams the day before. I arrived at 1:20 PM after work, expecting to have enough time to shower, wash my face, remove my makeup, and settle in before my appointment. Instead, I was told my appointment had been changed to 1:30 PM. After I showed them my confirmation, the front desk acknowledged that Burke Williams had accidentally changed my reservation without notifying me. At that point, I had no choice but to rush. I had just come from work in the summer heat and didn't want to lie face down on a massage table covered in sweat and makeup. Instead of beginning my spa day feeling relaxed, I was stressed and scrambling because of a mistake that wasn't mine. My massage therapist was wonderful, and this review is not a reflection of her. She gave a great massage, but even that couldn't undo the stressful start to the experience. By the time I was finally able to relax, my massage was almost over. The front desk initially offered me a discount. I was the one who asked whether they could also include a complimentary enhancement, and they agreed. The following day, I called Burke Williams because I still felt the situation hadn't been appropriately addressed and asked to speak with a manager. The manager apologized and offered me a $50 gift card. While I appreciate the apology, I don't believe the resolution matched the impact of Burke Williams' mistake. This wasn't a scheduling mix-up on my end. Burke Williams changed my reservation without my knowledge, admitted it was their mistake, yet I still lost part of the relaxing experience that I paid for. When you book a luxury spa, you're paying for more than the massage itself. You're paying for the opportunity to unwind from the moment you walk in. Because of Burke Williams' mistake, that experience was taken away before my treatment even began. I expected more from a business that markets itself as a luxury spa, and unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed.

I was planning a special birthday experience, and unlike other places that can feel rushed or dismissive, they actually seemed excited to help me put everything together perfectly. Every detail was handled so thoughtfully. I even brought my own customized bottle and asked the front desk to have it chilled for us poolside--and they executed it flawlessly. When we got to the pool, they already knew exactly who it was for. I even showed them a quick note on my phone, and they caught on instantly. That level of attentiveness really stood out. We booked a couples massage, and it was absolutely amazing. The room itself was beautiful, calming, and honestly unreal. The entire facility--from the locker rooms to the sauna, steam room, and showers--was spotless. It's one of those places where you actually enjoy taking your time getting ready because everything feels so clean and luxurious. We spent the day relaxing, enjoying breakfast and lunch by the pool, swimming, using the steam room and sauna, and just fully unwinding. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and experience. Huge thank you to the entire team for making this day so special. I'll definitely be back!

She found every tight spot, applied just the right amount of pressure, and somehow left me feeling both deeply relaxed and completely refreshed. This spa is a total gem--impeccable service, skilled staff, and an atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Can't wait to return!

The head spa experience is amazing -- you can really tell they specialize in this. The products smell great, the techniques are relaxing, and everything feels very hygienic and well-organized. What I appreciated the most is the attention to detail and how seriously they take cleanliness. You can see that tools are handled properly, and the whole environment feels safe and high-end. If you're looking for a real head spa experience (not just a regular wash), this is definitely the place. Highly recommend!

I had a very concerning experience with Room 17 at both their Encino and Santa Monica locations,…read moreand I feel it's important to share what happened. At the Encino location, I had serious concerns about the person who did the services on my daughter and whether they were properly licensed to provide cosmetology services. Beyond that, the salon was extremely dirty and, in my opinion, very unsanitary. While I was there I saw a mouse trap! That alone was shocking. When they were getting ready to blow-dry my daughter's hair, I noticed there was still hair from previous clients tangled in the brushes they were about to use on me. I couldn't believe they hadn't been properly cleaned between clients. The bathroom was also out of service during my visit. Unfortunately, my experience at the Santa Monica location also left me with concerns about whether the people performing hair services were properly licensed. The name of who worked on my daughter's hair was Ariel. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and hygiene, along with my concerns about proper licensing, made me extremely uncomfortable. When you're paying a business for personal care and beauty services, you should be able to trust that the environment is clean, the tools being used on you are sanitary, and the people providing the services are properly qualified and licensed. Based on my personal experience, I would not feel comfortable returning to either location.

My day started with being shown where the changing/locker room is, what to do next and where the lounge area is. There are waters and cups and plenty of seating to choose from while you wait. The fireplace really elevates the lounge. Lana did my CBD oil massage. She was very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I'm not experienced with massages so I had a bit of trouble letting go control of my arm at one point, but she reminded me to relax. Afterward she brought me a drink which is probably normal for them but it was really nice lol. Again I'm not a seasoned spa goer. I really enjoyed the massage though. Next I tried out the sauna for a few minutes which was clean and very relaxing. Up next was my copper bath. When I stepped inside, I felt like royalty because it's set up so pretty with candles and flowers, it's a really nice tub with jets as well. I didn't want that to end haha. Next came my clarifying facial with Arely. This consisted of chemical exfoliation, extractions, an LED mask and a peel. She massaged me a bit as well which was nice. I wasn't sure if the extraction process did anything however because she applied no pressure to extract, it felt like just tapping on areas of my face but it's not a big deal. I can extract at home. The rest was relaxing! I finished the day off with Danielle, who was absolutely phenomenal. She told me exactly what we're doing and made me feel comfortable. First was the scrub, then she got a shower ready for me to rinse off and then brought me fresh water for after. Next came the body melt which smelled fantastic and felt really moisturizing. Danielle went out of her way to even give me a scalp massage and she sent me home with some of the body melt she used. I finished my day feeling at peace, soft and in a great mood. I do think I accidentally left my socks in my robe pocket but it's ok. No pictures because this was a total unplug day for me. No devices, no social media, just being present in the moment.
