My first encounter with Val, I tripped across her website (her befores and afters are phenomenal!) and through prompt emails and setting up an appt, she showed up at my location and I entrusted her to do what she does best: bombshell transformations with sultry smokey eyes and effortlessly gorgeous hairstyles. Professional makeup artists vary in price from $100-$400 hair & makeup (about 2-3hrs). In my experiences, Val's rates can vary from $150-$350 w/gratuity depending on my location, her traveling to me or my going to her, my hairstyle curly/straight, air brush/regular foundation, etc. To request Val though, it is worth EVERY bit. She always takes such meticulous care in her work and I always receive compliments, at every turn, seems like. Unlike previous experiences, I never regret how much was spent to look and feel so confident as I do after her makeovers. I have had the absolute BEST experiences with makeup and hairstyles thanks to Val! Being Asian, it has always been so difficult to find an artist that made me truly feel as gorgeous and bombshell as the models I once admired on "Maxim," for example. I only use air brush (more costly, but very much worth it). There are just not enough words of praise that I could share except that I hope other every day women like myself can share in a makeover experience(s) as I have, now that I have revealed my glam "secret. " I may not be a hot rod magazine model, but with the right duds and Val, I can sure feel like one for a day/evening out. Side note: When I'm out and about, I'm a no-fuss girl and I rarely, if ever, touch up. From the look of my photos with friends after Val's work, my makeup and hair holds up so well!
