absolutely horrific experience with jake made an appointment to replace a sensor. jake said over the phone he would pre-order the part ($135) and gave me a quote. i showed up as scheduled, no part ordered, jake says he couldn't remember, talks to 20-30 people every day. however, audi has the part in stock and can get today. jake now finds the quote he did and remembers the conversation. he wants me to sign a work order but the price is wrong (more), i don't want to sign for the wrong price. jake then says the car won't be insured in the shop if i don't sign, and then throws the key at the me and says get out, go to the dealer "they are cheaper". i'm standing outside on the phone, he comes out yelling "get off my property". at this point we exchange pleasantries and i leave. will never go back or recommend this place. read more

I've been bringing my VWs here for over 10 years. Reto is the owner and has always been approachable and friendly, never overcharging you or selling you some BS that you don't need. He'll tell you if something can wait to get fixed. I don't see him around the shop anymore, but Roman (who I remember as an apprentice!) is doing a fine job. He is honest and to the point, and doesn't make up stuff to drive the bill up. There are plenty of dishonest jerks running mechanics shops. This is not one of them. If you have a European car, especially a VW (diesel too!), do not even think of taking it anywhere else! read more
