Quite here with my family a few days ago I'm visiting my hometown of Mansfield and Lexington. Really enjoyed the setting and I felt like I was in deep, southern California or maybe even a little south of the border, which was very nice. The food was excellent, but I would warn people that all the sauces in the salsa bar were quite warm to see the least.. The service was good and the price was fair. I came here with a group of 10 people and we came after work, all hungry and ready to have a good meal. This Mexican restaurant was closest to our work location and had the best reviews per yelp. I ordered the ribeye steak and shrimp meal, and had a mango strawberry margarita. Everything was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. No complaints. The staff was friendly and quick to take care of our orders. Our food came out pretty quickly as well. I would definitely return here in the future if I'm in this town. There's not many good Mexican restaurants but this one is definitely good. Food is really good and hot, and service was great too!

We were just passing through. I looked at reviews of the Mexican restaurants offered. There were no negatives listed for this one. What a great choice. Chips and salsa were spot on. So, first impressions were great. Margaritas were so tasty. Food was hot, service impeccable. Definitely would eat here again if we are in area. read more

The wife and I have been to this restaurant several times throughout the years. It's changed ownership within that time span. Our food was subpar, waitress was ok, hostess/checkout lady wasn't very welcoming and as we were checking out, she barely acknowledged us nor was she asking how our food was, did we enjoy ourselves, nothing along those lines. She was more interested in talking to a couple of guys that were hanging around the hostess station, when we first came in and as we were checking out. Don't think they were workers there but seemed more like her friends. As we walked out, her and her friends walked out as well for a smoke break (it probably wasn't a cigarette break). The whole experience had us wondering why we felt the need to even be there, it was disappointing. In the past, they'd be Hispanic people in the dining room and kitchen. In our opinion, they would do well to hire some. The impression we took from our visit was that it just seems to continue going downhill to the point where I think we're done with it. On the positive side, there're numerous Mexican Restaurants in the Mansfield/Ashland area. One that we liked is Panchos and Tacos on Lexington Ave, and there're others. So, there're a number to choose from, in case others have a similar experience like ours. read more

I came into this restaurant looking for some good food but was utterly disappointed. It started when I walked in the staff were very patronizing and disrespectful. I thought maybe the food would make up for the subpar service but I was disappointed yet again. I couldn't finish my food and didn't take home any left overs. This place is not worthy of a half star rating. The two of us were sat into a booth with torn and frayed seats. The greeter said your server will be with you shortly. Ten minutes passes by and not even a single person came to our booth. No drinks,chips,salsa. Nothing. I watched the servers walk back and forth between the bar and kitchen and never look into the dining area. When leaving the lady on the phone says have a good night. Food is good but they nickel and dime everything. We ordered what was called a lunch portion of chicken and rice and boy was it small and if you order as individuals and pay as individuals you each get a bag of chips and salsa. However if you buy for a family you get one tiny salsa and one bag of chips. Someone needs to figure out the menu. If one gets it then all should get it. What truly is the cost. I can say cause of what was given today as a price then I was charged more. I will not be eating here again. I gave them 2 tries. I'm done. read more

Decided to try it while in Mansfield. We had heard from friends it was good. They were not busy at all maybe 2 other tables. I ordered fried chimi dinner, received the soft chimis. Server tried to excuse new cooks. I didn't send it back cause i don't trust kitchen staff anywhere to not mess with my food. My husband ordered combo with enchilada, burrito, and chalupa. He received enchilada, chile rellino (spelling?) and a taco. He was sick to his stomach later that night. Will not go back. read more

Fantastic food and drinks. I love Mexican food, and was so happy to find this gem while traveling to Mansfield. The carnitas were honestly the BEST I've ever had. Our party also had a shrimp combination plate and seafood fajitas which were all wonderful. I prefer margaritas that are not too sweet but have a nice tequila taste, and this place has them!! Horrible food. The salsa has no kick and it tastes like it has garlic and sugar in it. The only cheese available is melted white sauce that resembles cheese. Over priced too. Would not recommend. read more

We went there once. We knew it was owned by the same people who own el campestre. All the food was great... the cheese sauce had little different flavor. It wasn't busy since it was lunch time on a school day. We still prefer el campestre since we are regulars there, but having this place close by is nice. read more

Our neighborhood Mexican place. Generous portions and reasonable prices are a staple at 3 Mayas. Kitchen service is normally pretty good. My normal order is grilled fish tacos. Service is efficient and the order arrives promptly. Add an iced tea and you have a nice meal that doesn't cost a fortune. read more

I've been there 4 times while in Mansfield so far. Food is good. Large portions. Salsa is really nice and fresh with a little kick. Have about 8 vegetarian items on the menu. Burrito in veg combo a comes with a very good creamy sauce. A good healthy option if you are on the east side of Mansfield and don't want fast food. read more
