This is my 3rd time at this restaurant, and the food is consistently good. The best part, is that it has a buffet as well! One of the only Mexican buffets in Northeast Ohio. The service was great, and the staff were very friendly. It's a smaller restaurant, but decorated with bright colors. The buffet had many selections. It had all the usual things, plus it had special things as well. Some included the chicken in a cream sauce, carnitas, beef tips, and steak/chicken fajitas. Cheese dip is also on the buffet. My sister, brother in law and I went here for dinner tonight. We went specifically for the buffet. They didn't have the buffet set up. Sister and I had margaritas, also disappointing. No where near the tequila it should have had in it and the ice chunks They should not have had. The food was also disappointing. The flavors were way off. We tried this restaurant due to someone local recommending it. We did not dine in, so maybe our experience was due to that. We did however, DoorDash our order. It arrived in a timely manner & everything was still hot. However, we didn't really like the food. My husband had some wrap of some sort with guacamole on it & he said it was not good & had way too many peppers. Basically a pepper wrap. Lol We also had rice, cheese quesadillas, chicken enchiladas and we just weren't impressed. Wasn't really good, to us anyway.. didn't eat here again & would pass this same review to friends. We came in for first time since we seen they had a buffet all you can eat. The buffet was very clean and was loaded with fresh very tasty food. The owner or manager was a very nice guy and between him and the wonderful staff we had a great lunch. The place was very clean and very busy at the same time so a lot of pride goes into this place by all that work there. The floors were clean I seen no evidence of dust build up anywhere and that is a blessing because not many places really care about dust everywhere but here it looks like they do. Food was so good I ate too much. It is definitely a place to eat if you like this type of food very delicious!! I recommend you stop and try it and see for yourself it was a great experience for us to have quality food and people who care about their customers!! Have eaten here a handful of times and food has always been good but after tonight's experience Id have to leave a review. Sat down and was immediately asked for drinks/appetizers with no time even open the menu.. after asking for more time the waitress came back 2 minutes later with us still having no idea, we felt very rushed as she had an attitude that seemed like she doesn't want us to be there. Oh well we all have bad days but come check out time we were applying the tip to the receipt and as I watched my husband write down the wrong math on the receipt no sooner did she blurt out that he was wrong. Giving me or him no time to even correct his math on the tip. Definitely rubbed us both the wrong way after service was not even worth the tip we had given! Simply fantastic! I've had Mexican food all over the US and this is right up there for the best. Had taqueria, rice, beans, guacamole salad and a side of guacamole. Good place to eat. I've only had the buffet the 3 times I've been there. It's not a giant buffet but what is there is good and a great value. We only wish there could be another Fiesta Charra further north. The staff has always been attentive and has gone above and beyond. People need to get over themselves if you had a not so good experience. Be patient and gracious and things will be better the next time. Sometimes servers have bad days too. Oh fiesta, you truly are a gem. If you want cheap, easy Mexican with a ton of choices then this is the place. You get big potions with a hot plate, and a very interesting atmosphere. The interior is quite dark with very bright, unique furniture, they do have an outdoor area that is new and nice. There service isn't too bad but very inconsistent. I never experience such bad services. I ordered a soup after rush hour, they kept me waiting 45 mins and impatiently hand it to me on 6/29/2020. Today I went to order the same soup (to-go), I waited only 5 mins. The soup is ready. waitress Alba insulted throw it to me, your soup is ready. Go. I didn't check. And when I went home , the soup is only water inside ( see photo 1), and I drove back to talk to the owner's daughter. Because of her, my soup become normal. The company I work with went here a few days ago and the party room they gave us was very cold compared to the main floor. Still, a nice size. The food was decent (we did the buffet) and their salsa was different from others in the area. The reason this place gets 1 star is because a large majority of us got food poisoning the next day. Really bad food poisoning. We think it was from the chicken. Regardless, thanks to this none of us will be eating Mexican for a long time, and we all had to miss work. My cousin and I veered off our route for some lunch and were instantly intrigued as we witnessed a man high on a ladder touching up the already brightest orange paint either of us have ever seen- we had to stop. Was there with my mother in law and kids around 3 weeks ago. Service wasn't all that great and our server definitely didn't look like she was happy to serve us. The food was okay, rice could've been warmed up a little more and meat could've had a tiny bit more flavor. I'm not trying to judge too much as I work at a Mexican restaurant myself so I know how hard the kitchen works to prepare the food daily. I loved the decorations inside and the bright colors on outside of building. So really if their servers just tried a little harder to pretend they like being at work it wouldn't have been that bad. We were going to go to the barbecue place across the street but we saw this place all painted orange and festive and then we saw the packed parking lot and the "BUFFET" sign so we changed our minds And boy am I glad we did. What a bargain and the buffet food was really good. The two of us ate the buffet and I had an ice tea for $19.56 with tax. And the stuff the other people ordered looked good too. Your drinks are seldom empty and fresh chips, salsa, and queso blanco are just a moment away if requested. But don't fill up on the chips! On top of this, Mexican restaurants often fail when it comes to desserts, but Fiesta Charra offers several sweet treats that are absolutely scrumptious. No alcohol on Sundays, did not know this going in. No biggie though, but worth noting that they don't want to pay for the license haha. Service is a little slow, but server is polite and informative. The hot salsa is actually hot, which was a nice surprise. My tacos smelled off, and when I tasted the meat it did not taste right. My boyfriend's chile rellano was rancid. And you could smell that from across the table. His rice and beans were mediocre at best. All in all, I do not understand why so many "Ashlanders" enjoy this place. We will definitely not be back. I would give this place no stars if possible. There have been two incidents that I'm aware of where cockroaches have been on the food served. We went on Sunday and found they did not have a Sunday liquor license. The bathroom was backed up and the food was mediocre. Avoid this place. read more

Stopped on our way home from vacation. Had been here once before and the food was good. This time we were served a pineapple fajita in a frozen pineapple. We had asked if they knew how to make this and was assured that the cook did. We didn't get any pineapple to eat, all the meat was cold, and my green peppers were still hard instead of grilled.
