The Three Cheese Grilled Cheese had an insane cheese pull and was loaded with melty, delicious cheese. The tater tots were surprisingly flavorful, seasoned with a unique blend that definitely had onion and a hint of garlic, along with other spices I couldn't quite identify--but they were fantastic! The Mouthful definitely lives up to its name. It's huge, incredibly filling, and absolutely worth ordering if you're hungry. To top it all off, we tried the crème brûlée for the first time ever, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. It was delicious and made for an awesome first experience with the dessert. Overall, South Street Grill exceeded all expectations. It does get busy, which isn't surprising considering how good the food is, but it's easy to get to and well worth the wait. A MUST-TRY if you're in the area! We'll definitely be back!

The smoked pork belly end app was excellent. The sauce is a tad sweet for me but they tasted great. I got the steak bombs which were chunks of sirloin marinated and grilled. They added onions and mushrooms as an option and giant baked potato on the side. The prices are very reasonable. It's a nice atmosphere and I noticed they have various events outside during the summer that look fun. I'll definitely be back!

I hate writing bad reviews. It sucks the cool right out of me…read more Let's start with positives. Great parking lot. It was very busy but still plenty of parking. My soft drink was cold and wasn't flat We walked in to the restaurant and the waiting area was packed and people who were waiting for open tables as you try and seat yourself. We decided to go sit at the bar to eat. The restaurant is nice. Somewhat clean. Bathroom could have used some tlc We ordered our food, which for me was fish and chips and my friend got a club. BTW I was on the fence between the Reuben and fish chips but the waitress recommended the fish and chips so I went with that and I also ordered a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. The soup came and I was starving so I dug in and after the first bite was looking for my drink as it was salty as heck. At this point I started having a bad feeling about the food and when my fish and chips showed up my feelings were unfortunately correct. The fish was drenched in oil that was burnt. It was so bad you could smell the burnt oil and even though my plate was full of the oil residue from the fries and fish I tried it. I was totally disgusted and even offered my friend to try it which he did and immediately spit out. I caught the waitress and showed it to her and she immediately apologized even though it had nothing to do with her and she got me a Reuben ordered. Btw the staff was great. The gal tending bar and the waitress who took care of us were great. I also want to add that my friend who ordered the club said it was good. I got the Reuben and again wasn't happy with how it turned out. At which point I asked for check and decided to leave as my stomach was doing hula hoops in disgust. Idk if it was an off day. It is a Sunday around 1pm but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Came out to $50 and imho I could have spent it way better. Idk if I will give it another shot, but who knows. Maybe Jersey Mikes would be safer......

We also tried their cheese curds, which of course were curdy and served with some spicy ranch, I also had some boneless wings sampled their spicy barbecue and they're hot, which both were good hot. I believe it was just buffalo. But the real winning ticket was the elephant year for dessert which was literally the size of a pizza coated in cinnamon sugar with your choice of caramel, chocolate, icing. And I got the icing and the chocolate. Service was stellar. There were three different servers that came by and just made sure we were always topped off with drinks and asking if we needed anything.

First two courses were excellent. Elk tartare was incredible, pave and lobster roll were very good. Zuppa toscano (soup) and shrimp & grits were nicely done. Cons: The meal quality started off great and went down with each course. With steak and salmon as other options, I thought a restaurant that would put a grilled cheese sandwich on a $100 meal must have an innovative sandwich. I was wrong. It was burnt and had no taste at all. An eight year old could have done better with a slice of Kraft. My Madeline dessert was four pieces of dry something, though the chocolate s'mores cake was significantly better.

Food was delicious! My goodness!…read more We were running late to a race in the Canal Fulton area and were both starving. I hopped on Yelp, saw Oak Park Tavern was open, and said, "Hey, let's give it a try." Thank goodness we did! We were greeted warmly by both the staff and customers who were enjoying a late-night ballgame. We arrived well after the dinner rush--easily four hours later--and only about 50 minutes before closing. Despite that, the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was outstanding, and we never felt rushed. The walls were adorned with hand-drawn battlefield crosses and messages honoring the fallen and supporting our service members. As someone who deeply appreciates that commitment, it resonated with me. I struck up a conversation with the bartender and learned that his son is a Marine. His pride in supporting veterans and active-duty service members was evident and appreciated. Sarah, our waitress, was friendly, kind, and attentive despite the late hour. She smiled, laughed with us, and made us feel right at home. Now, the food! The lobster dish was fantastic--perfectly seasoned and served with a delicious sauce. The seafood entrée I ordered was outstanding, and the wedge salad was absolutely top-tier. I love a good wedge salad, and this one exceeded expectations. My wife, Juliann, loved her New York Strip, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The cocktails were excellent as well. Thank you all for an amazing visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're passing through!

Although we had reservations, we waited about 10 minutes in a very cramped entryway that also served as the bar area and a pass-through for the kitchen. Staff carrying large trays constantly had to squeeze past waiting customers, making the entrance feel crowded and awkward. The first thing we noticed was a strong fishy odor that lingered while we waited. We were eventually seated on the newer outdoor deck, which was pleasant enough, but it felt very plain with almost no décor or atmosphere. The overall vibe of the restaurant was more functional than welcoming. Our server was in training and accompanied by another server throughout the meal. She did her best, but the service overall lacked warmth, and there was a long wait for our food despite many empty tables. The biggest disappointment was my steak. While the portion size was fine, it was so full of gristle that I left nearly a third of it untouched because it simply wasn't edible. My husband's fish tasted good, but many of the thinner pieces were overcooked and dry. When I mentioned the problem with my steak, the response was simply, "Is there anything we can do for you?" followed by an awkward silence. No apology, no offer to replace it, and no acknowledgment that such a poor cut of meat shouldn't have been served. Because this restaurant is in a fairly remote area with few nearby dining options, we had really hoped for a better experience. Sadly, between the lack of ambiance, the mediocre service, and the disappointing food, we don't plan to return. One more thing, they scrub bad reviews from their home website.
