Is this place a joke? I showed up at 3:35 p.m. for my appointment. I walked up to the front desk to check in and I tell the receptionist I have an appointment at 3:45 p.m. She looked up my name on the computer and tells me my appointment was at 10:45 a.m. I proceed to give her the appointment card she gave me at the time I scheduled my appointment with my appointment information, and she asks me if I re-scheduled the appointment. 1.) It's my first time there I did not even know I could re-schedule through an app. 2.) If I had re-scheduled at 10:45 a.m. why would I show up 5 hours later. 3.) If my appointment was at 10:45 a.m. and I had re-scheduled at 3:45 p.m. how would I have gotten a card from them showing that time. Such a waste of my time, I took time off work to take care of this all for nothing. read more

I had a great experience getting orthotics made and fitted by Dr. Aasin Tareen. I've had orthotics made before and they were good too but now the process is much easier/faster due to the use of a 3D printer. Dr. Tareen also looked at the wear of my old orthotics and made some adjustments to give some extra cushioning in certain areas. The process from start to finish was great. I also had a warm and welcoming experience with the other staff members of the clinic and was always able to get appts made that worked with my schedule. I will definitely be going back for any future podiatry needs. read more

My parents were seen at Los Alamitos foot and ankle doctors office and this office is always decorated so nice and looks like only three people work there . with that being said Dr. Ibrahim and his staff are friendly helpful and caring I highly recommend this office for foot care. read more

Kevin C. Foot elevation was not possible in waiting room. Venous stasis ulcers are painful and require elevation multiple times daily, especially after walking to a clinic, for example. Venous ulcers are a very common reason patients visit foot centers. The self-care brochures available in the waiting room of the Los Alamitos Foot Center emphasis the importance of elevation multiple times daily. Yet, in the Los Alamitos Foot Center waiting room, where I often had long waits, there is no ottoman, no table, no way to move the immobile chairs. Truly there was no way I could elevate my feet and feel better. The staff routinely dismissed this issue, "You'll be in an exam room soon." The staff was otherwise reasonably competent, but this absurd care blindspot undermined any trust I had. I stopped going. read more

I found this place after a friend had a good experience. The staff was friendly and the Doctor looks like he knows what he is doing. This was where I went for a 2nd opinion after I got some bad news from my other Doctor and the bad news is that I still need surgery. I could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Hughes and his staff. My Case was complicated and required my right foot to be re-constructed. Dr. Hughes complied a team of 4 doctors do my surgery. Dr. Hughes took the time to explain, in detail, exactly what the problem was, and exactly what he would do to fix the problem. If the were an Academy Award for Podiatrists capable of solving complex foot issues, Dr. Hughes should get the Podiatry Academy Award! Hello I have been to this office and see Dr Hugh's, I have been very pleased with him and his staff, on both occasions they have taken very good care of me and made sure that I was comfortable . My nurse both times has been Dayanne and she has been amazing and so humble, I mean for her to be able to touch my feet and still be so humble and graceful about it I thank you and commend you on an amazing job ladies I would also like to include the rest of the staff unfortunately I only remember a few names I believe Maria and Mary thank you ladies for amazing service and I can imagine it must be hard even when we as patients come in and give you a hard time . I've taken my $400 to 3 other orthopedic specialists in torrance. I've seen 6 custom orthotics that friends have, EVERYONE says the ones I got are completely wrong for at 185lb male who is athletic, they have foam in the middle, it caves in and make another roll arch that feels really really odd towards my heel, what the heck, the doctors wife told me they make some of the best orthotics, so after trying to rip me off for $400 when I got 100% approved I'm also told by other orthopedic specialists that this is ridiculous, that these orthotics w weak foam are for kids or 50kg women....NOT ahtletic men....I'm not overweight, I'm 187 5"11....also the 6 pairs i've seen that people in my tennis group have are all rock hard plastic even w/ some metal hinges, I FEEL SO CHEATED, trying to make me come in again and pay $50 again and again w/ really lame orthotics..., and one visit after my MRI, he tried to send me home saying the same crap w/o even telling me my MRI results, I had to request and remind the whole staff that this was the point of my visit....I feel the 3 or 4 visits/the lame $400 ortho inserts are all part of them trying to make a few hundred bucks, hey if they do that to all their patients that may easily equate to over a few thousand extra a month....I have never been so unhappy w/ a licensed professional...I welcome this place to please publicly refute wo lame excuses on why I've received such lame orthotics and why they keep trying to make me have these visits and they charged me $200 for something my insurance approved. I misunderstood when she asked for a deposit so I paid the initial $150 and thought I would get it back but no, she wanted another $250 when I picked up the trash orthos...I refused, she couldn't look me in the eye and I told her I thought I was getting my $150 back....my goodness, this is 2017, YOU CANNOT BE IGNORANT AND LOVE MONEY MORE THEN HELPING PEOPLE AND DOING YOUR JOB CORRECTLY....I have formal complaints going in w/ the network and claims w/ my credit card co. I am going to put up pics as well very soon, so taken back on how a doctor and his wife can be so lame. read more
