Bad service. We came in the waiter got our order. Then when the food was brought out is wasnt anything we had ordered. They had totally forgot to bring my 2 year old granddaughter's meal out which in turn it was never placed on the order. We had to wait additional 20 mins to get her food. Will never go back there. Last time I was here I had the Huarache al Pastor (a pork). It was a big helping, and was super flavorful. The meat had a flavor very similar to chorizo. It was worth the price I paid. In the past I have gotten the chorizo with chicken that was very good, and I have gotten the fajitas on the beach. Fajitas on the beach is your choice of meat with fajita vegetables covered in queso. Have had both lunch and dinner at Los Bravos and I've never been disappointed. Food is priced well, tastes great and comes out timely. The waitstaff is very pleasant and attentive. Every meal starts off with complimentary chips and salsa, which they refill gladly. I usually got the fajitas and à la carte options so I could try a little bit of everything, all of which were delicious. The layout of the restaurant is somewhat awkward, but I enjoyed sitting in the middle section near the fountain. First time to visit and with a group of 12. Even though it was a big group, the sever did a great job getting orders, making sure everyone had drinks along with ample salsa and chips. I had the Chicken on the Beach, which is usually my favorite here. But today it was not that great. Very very dry. The food was cold. It came out in like three minutes after I ordered it so it shouldn't have been cold. They weren't busy so I understand the quick service but not cold food with it, and very dry. Same great and fast service new location. Family likes this place for Mexican. They are very accommodating to our kids when they want beans substituted or rice etc. They new place is bigger with more comfortable seats. Los Bravos is simply the best. I don't live in Evansville anymore but it is always a priority to go here when I come back to visit. They really went all out on the new location. It's amazing in there! The table side guacamole is real good and I dream of the queso! Service is always really fast.
