Stopped in here on our travels. Wanted some street tacos. Yelp pointed us to this little place in an old strip mall. Ordered the el pastor, and 2 steak tacos. Came with cilantro, onions and cheese on 2 corn tortillas. They also had a salsa and veggie station. There was only 1 sauce and a few cukes. The el pastor was better than the steaks but both were really good. No fat. I hate tacos with a lot of fat chopped in. Place was very clean and everything was very fresh. I grew up in Southern California, so I've had A LOT of really good Mexican food. I've had excellent Mexican food in Vegas and Arizona too. One of my favorite things to order is a bean and cheese burrito. There's something about it that takes me back to being a kid. Out of all the times I've had bean and cheese burritos I have NEVER gotten a bean burrito (no cheese), with queso blanco poured over the top. I was totally confused when I saw it. The taste of the queso is off putting, and doesn't belong on top of a burrito if it isn't requested. FYI: This review is strictly about the bean and cheeses burrito. Twice in one day! The tacos are super affordable and delicious with 2x corn tortillas so they don't fall apart. Loads of options d and will make a michalada fresh for you (can't wait to try) The guys behind the continue or so sweet and patient. My uncle and his family are regulars here. OMG this place is LEGIT. It's super far away from where I live, BUT LEGIT. I would imagine this is the kind of tacos you find from a food truck, but it's in a cute hole in the wall in Newnan.... lots of tables to sit and seat. They have a salsa bar with red/green sauce, as well as radish and limes. Mmmmh, I'll have to take the long drive and come back. Definitely try the carnitas, and carne asada. This my friend was my Favorite food spot in Newnan! We were in the area and ate here several times. We had excellent food and service each time. The service was always fast and hot food. My son told us of this place. Man it's sooo good. And fast. And clean. And sooo friendly. Very affordable too! Ramon and Luis talked to us for a bit and this made the restaurant experience even better. They are awesome guys who seem passionate about their food. Found out about this place on Yelp and decided to give them a try for Taco Wednesday (yeah I know). Their prices are extremely affordable, but the food is far better than mainstream Mexican spots around Newnan. I bought 2ea of the Pastor/carne asada/chicken/chorizo tacos along with a quesadilla. Number one, everything is cooked fresh on the spot so you'll have a bit of a wait time but it all tastes amazing and very authentic. Also, ~$25 for eight tacos and a quesadilla beats even chipotle at this point and again, the taste is fantastic. The guys working there are also pretty friendly and very polite. Will be back for a round two, maybe even on Taco Tuesday this time. read more
