Cute place to relax and grab a beer and snack! Fantastic outdoor seating area. Service is a bit slow which was concerning since the place was empty. Enjoy a few snacks like the Brie quesadillas and the cheese fondue. Both were good!

We chose to sit inside and were able to be seated immediately at 7:00 PM (table of three). We just had waters, I got the fish and chips, my sister got the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and my friend got the Chicken, Apple, and Brie sandwich. Overall the food was good. I think if they could improve on a couple things, the waitstaff seemed very short staffed, we needed more waters and sauces but ended up just getting our checks instead of waiting. We also were sitting in a table close to the bar and people were standing right behind us we couldn't move freely and people were cutting around our table to get through the restaurant. Otherwise we had a good experience and would return.

We started at a gourmet burger place across the street but the wait for a table for two at that place was nearly an hour. We decided to see what the wait was like at The Cellar. It was only 10 minutes, so we stayed there. We both ordered the Wild Game Burger with fries, and loved it! If I remember right, it was a mash-up of bison, elk, and boar. We ordered it medium and every bite was so juicy and tasty! The fries were so delicious that we ordered another batch of them to share. Our table was on the outdoor patio. It was perfect for a mild early summer evening. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all great!

Receiving starts based on food quality and the kindness of our waitress, lacking stars because of price, atmosphere, and wait time. I'm starting off by saying our service was incredibly nice and was very attentive, it seems like none of the issues were her fault. However, my wife and I were in here on a Friday night, and waited over 45 minutes from ordering our food to receiving it. I've had previous experiences here with long wait times, with each seeming to get longer waiting on food and drinks but this was far and away the longest. When we received the food, it was good, nothing extraordinary but nothing to write home about either. Our bill after tax/tip was right at $100. For chips and dip, a plate of pasta, a sandwich, and one glass of wine? Seems a bit steep for bar food..... The ambiance was very confusing- they had a band going that was very loud and made it hard to converse. They were good though and fun to listen to, but it just seems like the Cellar can't decide what it wants to be. They have pricing of an upscale restaurant but service and atmosphere of a Friday night dive. My wife and I enjoy spending time together paying a good price for a nice meal , and we also enjoy a Friday night out listening to music and sharing bar food. We just don't enjoy mixing those two together.

Had a great time here listening to live music and drinking cold beers. The food and service was good.

This historic home is absolutely lovely with so many picturesque spots! We chose to do a weekday elopement in May 2024 with a few additional guests for a total of 10 people, and it was everything we were looking for. Ashley and Crystal were pleasant and easy to work with -- they coordinated the music, cake, and toasts per our requests; made some accommodations for changes like bringing in our own pastor; and even boxed everything up nicely for us at the end to make packing up a breeze. I highly recommend this location for an elopement, staylope, or intimate wedding.

Warning to Future Brides…read more I intentionally waited a month after our wedding before writing this review because I wanted to separate my emotions from the facts and give the venue the opportunity to respond to my concerns privately before posting publicly. Our wedding was on June 9, 2026. We chose Lillian Gardens because the property is absolutely beautiful, and I spent months planning every detail of our wedding. While our overall wedding investment was significantly more than this, we spent nearly $15,000 with Lillian Gardens alone for the venue, catering, coordination, and related services. Based on that investment, we expected a much higher level of professionalism, organization, and execution than we received. The planning issues began months before the wedding. In January, I specifically requested a list of the venue's rental items and available services so I could determine what I should rent through the venue versus what I needed to purchase or create myself. I did not receive that information until the end of April, after many purchases and decisions had already been made. Had I received that information when requested, I would have gladly paid the venue for additional rentals and services instead of spending months DIYing so much of our wedding. On the wedding day, our coordinator was not prepared when vendors arrived, and I found myself answering questions and helping direct logistics instead of simply being the bride. Throughout the planning process, I had been assured she had many years of experience coordinating weddings, but unfortunately that was not reflected in our experience. After months of planning our décor, I was informed on the wedding morning that our candles did not meet venue requirements. This had never been communicated during planning despite discussions about our décor. A last-minute exception was eventually granted, but only after unnecessary stress had already been added to the day. After everyone was dressed and preparing for the ceremony, the bridal party asked for water. We were initially told there was no drinking water available. While someone from our family prepared to leave the venue to purchase water, it was suddenly "found" after we had already spent considerable time trying to solve a problem that should never have existed. Weather became another unnecessary source of stress. We were repeatedly pressured to make an early decision about moving the ceremony indoors despite clearly communicating that we wanted to remain outside unless weather absolutely required otherwise. After we had already communicated our decision, our Maid of Honor was approached separately and asked to make the final call. The rehearsal also lacked leadership and direction. My father ultimately stepped in and led much of the rehearsal because we were not receiving the guidance we expected from our coordinator. The reception is where the experience became most disappointing. Cocktail hour appetizers ran out early, and some guests only received one appetizer despite us paying for two per guest. We also purchased sangria for cocktail hour. Multiple guests commented that it appeared to contain little or no alcohol, which was extremely disappointing considering it was purchased as an alcoholic beverage service. Dinner service started approximately an hour behind schedule because the kitchen was not ready. That delay affected the entire evening. Guests began leaving before many of the reception events even occurred. Guests also began clearing dishes from their own tables because service had fallen behind. Our reception timeline fell so far behind that my husband spent part of our own wedding reception helping clean up so we could meet the venue's required exit time. That is not how any bride or groom should spend their wedding reception. To make matters worse, our DJ experienced repeated technical failures during the reception, including our first dance. While I understand those issues were not the venue's responsibility, the already delayed timeline meant there was very little opportunity to recover. By the time the reception was functioning again, many of our guests had already left. Several professional vendors independently expressed concerns to us about the level of coordination they experienced throughout the day and encouraged us to speak directly with the venue owner regarding what had occurred. Rather than immediately posting a public review, I contacted the venue owner privately and gave the venue an opportunity to investigate and respond. The owner acknowledged communication and coordination failures, apologized, and stated that improvements would be made to internal processes. A refund of our $312 Bridal Suite Mimosa Bar was offered; however, as of writing this review, I have not yet received that refund. Our concerns are not based on one isolated issue. They stem from repeated problems throughout both the planning process and the wedding day that, taken together, significa

They set up their equipment in the garden and started playing music long before the ceremony started, so the mood was already set when we started taking photos and the guests began to arrive. During the outdoor ceremony, they hit all of the music cues as the flower girls, families, and bride/groom walked down the aisle.
