I love coming to the Cerritos Towne Center. There's a variety of places to go - restaurants, coffee/boba, markets, stores, movie theatre, etc! It can get pretty crowded at times, but there's always parking available. There's a public restroom available (so you don't have to go into a restaurant or Starbucks to ask). It's older, but hey it's got most amenities and shopping categories that you'd find helpful. From restaurants, quick bites, coffee, wal mart, home goods, Ross, Best Buy, ulta, bath and body, Trader Joe's, and even an old movie theater. It's great coming here because it's low key and there are a lot of outdoor sitting places. That's actually what I'm going to highlight here. Not to mention it's off the 91 freeway. It's a great spot if your traveling through, in, or around, Cerritos. Tip: there's a farmers market here near Sheraton hotel every Saturday morning. 7 am until about 12 noon of 1 pm. read more

We like to visit once in a while, usually for apple store and just a mall walk around. They allow pets, so that's a plus.

I've frequented this center since it first opened. It has a lot to offer, and this makes it really great. There are some businesses/restaurants that are no longer there (including some chains), like Mimi's Cafe, and Rubios. Arte' Cafe was a private business. There are still some Rubios that still are in operation, but this one at the center no longer does. Arte' Cafe was actually a very nice eatery. Nice additions imo has been Island's restaurant, and a few Asian spots that seem to be good (seen good reviews, haven't eaten there just yet but I plan to). Dimassi's is pretty good. I also need to try the restaurant inside the Sheraton Hotel. The only negative there is the Wal-Mart parking lot. We already know at times regardless of where a Wal Mart happens to be, sketchy things can happen. Because it's a discount retail, it's to be expected. Recently there was what appeared to be a "gypsy type" family with wife/husband and little boy (they seemed to be of Indian extraction, with the mother wearing a sari, etc.), and the mother came up to my car and politely asked if I was interested in purchasing something in a box, upon which I didn't even understand what she was promoting. I nicely declined, and her family moved on. This isn't the first time I've come across such persons in various parking lots, but to me, this is just another reminder that even the suburbs can sometimes attract these 3rd world type persons with ways we are not always accustomed to. The Cerritos Town Center has a few of my favorite stores. Dress Barn, Ross, Traders Joe's, Bath & Body Works and recently added a Home Goods next to Traders Joe's. Of course it would not be complete without Starbucks. They even have an Edwards movie theater & other stores like Kohls, Ulta Beauty, Mens Warehouse store, Walmart with other casual places to eat. It has my favorite restaurants; Mimi's Cafe and Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill both restaurants can get really busy on the weekends or when there is a program at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. The Cerritos Towne Center is definitely a great local hub to shop, dine; watch a movie & during the week I have even seen people walking to get their steps count there. Made me and my family feel unwelcome. The dentists were great. Odesas attitude however, is the reason we won't be returning. She was very impatient with my parents. There had never been a problem with their insurance and Norman was always so patient and helpful. But then one day they spoke to Odesa and suddenly there was a problem with the insurance and my parents were so confused. When I spoke to her, her demeanor was very condescending. She hardly let me talk and ended up referring me to a random local dentist. That made me and my family feel really unwelcome, like they were trying to get rid of us. read more

This is one of my favorite places to Walk to, read a nice book on one of the very cosy chairs outdoors and enjoy the nice nature settings, they recently been opening new restaurants. Plenty of parking perfect place to buy a drink since they have a Starbucks and some boba drink shops as well and enjoy with family and kids!! Memories!! When my wife and I were dating, we visited Cerritos Towne Center quite often. Most of the time, our destination was the Edwards Stadium movie theater. Other times, it would be Walmart, Ross, Kohl's, Trader Joe's or Best Buy. If we weren't shopping, then we would be eating. Macaroni Grill, Mimi's Cafe, and T.G.I. It all began in the mid 1990's, when the Cerritos Towne Center was one of the first towne centers in the area. It was a new concept, which lead to a lot of the neighboring cities to follow suit. Combined with the Los Cerritos Center and the Cerritos Auto Square, this outdoor mall are the three main revenue generators for the City of Cerritos. Presently, the Cerritos Towne Center brings in gross retail sales in excess of $200 million a year. Not bad for 125 acres of former dairy farms. The following 4 major streets surrounds this large plaza - Shoemaker Ave, Bloomfield Ave, Artesia Blvd, and 183rd Street. Inside this square exists a combination of retail, office, and entertainment services. After almost 20 years since it's inception, the Cerritos Towne Center is still going strong and it looks pretty solid after all the renovations and changes. Cerritos Towne Center always seems like a mouse trap every time I try to park here. It's typically crowded even during the middle of the week at mid-morning to mid-afternoon. Why did they build the parking lots like a maze? Trader Joe's. Best Buy. Pet Smart. Petco. Dress Barn. Kohl's. ULTA. Starbucks. Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill. There are plenty of other stores (including Wal-Mart - ai yi yi!) and eateries, but I'm not particularly fond of them. It's conveniently located next to the 91. The area seems safe. Nice landscaping. I absolutely love the Cerritos town center. There is the movies, great restaurants, shops...Everything! I have been coming here for years because I grew up in this area and it always feels like home when I come here. I also used to work directly across the street from here too, so I used to come here 5 days a week to get lunch. I will say that this place has changed over the years from what I remember, but they managed to keep the important places like the moves and restaurants. If you are looking for a manicure, pedicure, something to wear, something to eat, or a night at the movies, this would be a great place. read more

I'm glad that they haveput up new places such as Wood Ranch, Borders, and even upgrading the Cerritos Edwards Theater. This is a good place to shop, eat, and catch a movie. There's plenty of mall eatery places like a Panda Express style restaurants, Rubio's, Mimi Cafe, TGIF, and Wood Ranch. There's also a Best Buy around the corner for the electronics freak. Oh yeah... Walmart is there too. There's a Navy Blue, Radio Shack, a couple of cell phone stores. Borders Bookstore have just moved in. If you want a place to hang out, there's' a couple of bobba tea shop, Juice It Up (reminds you of Jamba Juice), and Starbucks. There's even a food court area where you can eat or hang out right in front of the Cerritos Edwards theaters. That theater is going to show first run movies. If you want to, you can walk across the street to Chipolte or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. This is a very good outdoor towne center especially given that it's perhaps the first in the region (opening in 1993). It's more accessible, in my opinion, than Long Beach, and with better, wider parking. The only thing is that it cannot grow any bigger than what it is now due to the overdeveloped part of town that its in. Surrounding office buildings and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts enclose the retail portion of the Cerritos Towne Center, preventing further expansion. The quality of the buildings in this center is high. 40% of every building in this center has to be made out of red and black granite. The fountain in the center food court is a nice touch and provides a gathering place for friends. There used to be a nightly laser show when the center first opened in the mid-90s and it was very unique at the time. The Towne Center still offers live music on weekends during the summer, to help encourage more foot traffic and offer a more lively atmosphere. The sit-down restaurants on the periphery are classier although they are all national chains (Mimi's Cafe, Romano's, Wood Ranch, TGI Friday's). There used to be a huge Smith's Food King here that everyone in town shopped at, however, when the entire chain backed out of California, it was replaced with a Kohl's department store. There is also a Trader Joe's around the corner as well as a Best Buy and Office Depot next to the 91 Freeway entrance/exit. One downside to this place aside from its smaller size is the Wal-Mart anchoring the other end of this shopping center (Kohl's and Best Buy anchor the other side and the Edwards Cinema anchors the center). This Wal-Mart attracts lower income people to swarm the center on that end and creates a swap meet feel to the place, ruining the high quality, secluded charm of this center. I don't mind the swap meet feel during Saturdays at the Farmers Market in the office building parking lots, but not inside any retail building. read more

This is a nice shopping area for some quick shopping needs and restaurant food pick ups. It is a nice alternative in comparison to the local mall madness. There is plenty of parking but it does get pretty packed on the weekend and holidays. The upkeep of this center is well. CTC used to be THE place to hang out. But these days it's not so crowded...and to me, that's not necessarily a bad thing. The CTC anchors are Wal-Mart, Trader Joe's, Kohl's, Ross, Best Buy, and the Edward's movie theaters. Plenty of places to grab a bite from nicer sit down restos like Wood Ranch BBQ, TGIFs, Macaroni Grill, Mimi's Cafe, and Arte Cafe, to more fast-casual options like Pielogy, Rubios, and Subway. They even have a Honeymee right next to the movie theater - winning! Overall a nice place to do some shopping, have a bite, or see a movie. Parking has never been an issue as there is ample parking all along the shops. read more

Since we moved to the neighborhood, my wife & I decided to seen what this place had to offer. Honestly, we were disappointed. It felt like at one point this place was quite happening, but now it really doesn't offer a whole lot of selection. That's a shame since in the grand scheme of things, it's a nice town center. Just beyond the movie theatre & Trader Joe's, I don't see a whole of to keep me coming back here. Also, even with coming here late, parking was still quite a hassle. The Manangement must also have to consider after school this place is the favorite hang out of the students like Cerritos HS and Whitney. I suggest that the restaurants can offer student meals. High schoolers are big enough for kids meals and can not afford those regular meals. They MUST consider these kids are students who have limited allowances. Cerritos Town Center... Back in the day, I would've had duchess status with all the visits I made here weekly! Lol... Trader Joe's, Kohl's, ULTA, Radio Shack, Wood Ranch Grill, Romano's Macaroni Grill, PetSmart (sorry PetCo...), WalMart, Starbucks, Yasai... Those are the usual stops I make whilst here. Juice It Up was a favorite before it closed down. And a little ways off, Best Buy is another frequented store. No problems parking, unless its one of those crazy shopping holidays. Lots of greenery and fountains and such decorate the place and make it look all nice and money-spending friendly. There are plenty of options to enter and exit the center, but just know that some entrances/exits are crazier/more congested than the others. There are also plenty of other clothing and shoe stores, restaurants, salons, and other specialty stores here, but I'm not familiar with them, as I don't do business with them. It's funny, whenever I drive here with the kids, they do this little guessing game as to which store we're going to first. KOHL'S! TRADER JOE'S! PETSMART! Lol... I try to park in a different area to thrown them off and they get all sad that I didn't pick whatever they guessed. Whatever your budget, you're bound to find a store here that's to your liking. I used to sit in the main courtyard and sip my Starbucks and people watch. On occasion there's some live music playing, other than the music that already plays throughout the center. Enjoy the sunshine, get a little walking exercise in, throw some pennies in the fountain, and spend your hard earned cash here at Cerritos Town Center. Oh! And look down when you walk! I like Cerritos Towne center for their convenience to the 91 freeway. I don't often need to come here for multiple stores, it's usually Kohls or Trader Joes and I can hit those separately, so there is usually no need to come to a crowded Towne center. I wish the Best Buy was within the walking park of the Towne center instead of being across a freeway offramp, but at least it's close. The parking lots is a maze of confusing, "can I get out here?" and usually the answer is "no, you have to drive all the way around to get out" which is annoying, I think they did that on purpose so you are stuck in there forever. read more

I was in the area and needed to stop for a quick lunch. I'm just cruising down Artesia Blvd and I see a type of outdoor mall in the distance. Sweet. They probably have something good to eat. The place was packed, but they had plenty of parking. I like that the parking lot isn't too cramped. Enough spaces between cars. The best part - we walked into TGIFridays around 12:30, and it wasn't crowded. Thank goodness, because I was getting hangry (so hungry that you get angry). They made my jack daniel's burger just the way I like it: so well done that it's almost burnt. Yummy. We walked around for a bit. They have a nice Borders. It seems like a nice mall. I would have gotten started on my Christmas shopping, but it's still early. read more

I seem to be frequenting the Cerritos Towne Center quite a bit more as of late. It's right off the 91 freeway, so it's very accessible. Parking here is abundant. You may have to park a little further away than your liking for some spots depending on the hours. I never have to park too far away, but the extra steps are a bonus anyway. The area is pretty much always kept clean and I've yet to see any homeless or unsavory characters here. Wal-Mart seems to be getting most of my business here, but there's still a bunch of other places in here that you can check out. The Wal-Mart is a large one, so that's a bonus. They have both Petco and Petsmart here, so depending on your allegiance, your all set. There's a School's First Credit Union here which is a little harder to get to. The side parking lot for the bank is quite small and hard to get in and out of. There's multiple cell phone providers located here as well. Take your pick. The Starbucks here is a nice one. Pretty good size and even though it gets busy, I've never found myself waiting a long time. Trader Joes here is pretty nice. A decent size and a pretty big parking area. I usually park over by the Golfsmith and just walk. It's not too far. The other two stores I visit randomly are Kohls and Best Buy. I'm not sure if Best Buy is officially part of the towne center due to it's location, but I'm going to throw it in anyway. I haven't been to the movies here in quite a while, so I won't comment on the state of the theatre, but it used to be pretty decent, and I think it was recently renovated. To sum it up, It's a nice place to come, do some shopping, and get some food. read more

from completion in the early 90's....cerritos towne center had quickly become the central hub for local kids and families in cerritos...conveniently located near the "very famous" cerritos library, cerritos center for the performing arts and city hall....it features few chain restaurants and various quick eats.....complete with movie theatre...bookstore and splatter of shops.... definitely packed during weekends and nights....the backside parking lot gives easy close access to the shops and movie theatres (but, that secret has been long gone)....it's definitely a nice place to walk around and sit around with friends.... read more

Parking's easy, and for good reason. This place isn't worth coming to anymore. Unless you're going to see a movie or go to Starbucks/Wal-Mart there's really nothing else notable. But hey, you're in Cerritos, so what's new? They recently closed Borders and Old Navy and replaced them with an kitchen appliance store and a linens shop. Really? I'm not sure if they're trying to change the demographic of people who shop in this area but many people have started turning their backs on this place. There's a bunch of chain restaurants like Mimi's, TGIF, Wood Ranch, Macaroni Grill, and they're okay, but nothing that you can't find anywhere else. In other words, no particular restaurant at this town center is a particular pull for anyone. Either way, do yourself a favor and hop on the 91W / 605S and go to LBTC. You'll find a much better selection of stores/food anyways. read more
