Lots of parking lots surrounding the shopping center (vs Citadel where the one lot and parking structure is a hike away). Plenty of places to eat as well inside and on the perimeter. Only.negative, I arrived right at opening time.and surprised to see stores not yet opened. Opening 5-15 minutes after! Smaller stores with only .one person staffing. Guessing its the norm here. Next time I won't come at opening time!

Located right outside Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks, there's definitely something for everyone here. Plenty of restaurants and quick bites to choose from. There's also a lot of dessert options including a couple of candy shops and ice cream shops. Retail and clothing stores, etc. There's also some cute vendors along the walkway which is where we got our caricature done. Service has always been great, no matter where we decide to spend our time. Things can tend to be a little bit pricey, but given the location and the proximity to the theme parks, that's to be expected.

Center Street Promenade is a hidden gem in North Orange County and not too far from places like…read moreDisneyland, Downtown Fullerton, and The Packing House food hall. You will find many cool events there, weekly farmers market, and a collection of local businesses. Some of my favorites are Eco Now, Rare by Goodwill, Good Food Hall, Craft by smoke and Fire, Windsor Browns, and many more. They have convenient parking in the structures where the small businesses can validate for 2 hours.

The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of an unfortunate experience at the Starbucks inside the mall. One of the employees was rude and dismissive toward someone using a wheelchair, which was disappointing to witness. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and I hope management addresses the importance of providing courteous and inclusive customer service. Aside from that experience, the rest of the mall was enjoyable, and the other employees I encountered were friendly. I'd still return to shop, but I hope the customer service at Starbucks improves.

And it contains both a See's Candies and a Läderach, two of our favorite chocolate shops! The only area that needs improvement is probably the food court with some pretty mediocre chain restaurants and nothing exciting. The rest of the place is a really good mall with the typical anchor department stores. It even has the only in-mall Dick's I've ever seen!

I have never encountered this issue in the past as I have always dressed nicely when visiting this mall and we have always in the past planned visits around getting a meal or buying some things during our mall walking, but this time we didn't want to spend much money and didn't bother to dress up which ostensibly is a huge problem to South Coast Plaza security and seemed to put a target on us. Good forbid two people who don't look rich want to enjoy a beautiful air conditioned mall on a hot day. Let this be a warning to all that you should look rich and/or visibly be actively spending money here if you want to avoid being followed.

During Christmas, staff were passing out beanies and some Christmas goodies but again mainly for the children. There were candies cane, Santa, and some small drinks. For Lunar New Year - the children receive red horses in 2026 Year of the Red Horse that won't come again for another 60 years! Adults and Children got red envelopes $2!!:)) Happy Lemon was passing out drink but OMG the line was long so we skipped. The line is LONG but first come first serve basic. Free stuff run out fast so come 30 minutes early. There are foods, coffee, ice cream in the plaza but again it is CROWDED during event times! Parking - if you arrive early, there's parking in the Regal parking lot. If you arrive late, it best to Park across the street where 24 Hours Fitness is located.
