The service was excellent, our waiter Juan David was awesome and super friendly. There was soccer game between Colombia and Chile on TV and there were lots of Colombians in the house, they were rowdy. If you do not mind loud music and loud sports on TV, this is a place for you.

We had to wait quite awhile (maybe 20 minutes) at the front for a table to open up, but there was plenty of décor to photograph in the meantime. We were escorted upstairs. Our bench table overlooked the rest of the venue. So colorful and breathtaking!! Love all the Instagrammable plant walls with neon lights. The menu for this place is insane. So many different vendors to order from. The waitress came by, and I gave my partner the freedom to order a cocktail for me. And our shared food, for that matter. The cocktail was pretty good. I'm especially obsessed with the stylish mug it came in. For dinner, we shared a Brazilian dish containing stredded beef, black beans, white rice, egg, yucca, and plantains. SOOOO delicious. My mouth waters just writing this review. Service is great but slow as expected in CDMX. Overall I can't wait to come back and try many more menu items!!

You are sure to have a special experience when you come to La Sazon de Ñaña. Check the changing menu and make a reservation to enjoy some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. The menu when I went was ceviche de pescado con chifles y canguil, sancocho, colada morada y guagua de pan. It's been 13 years since I last had sancocho and this did not disappoint. If you haven't had sancocho before, put a bit of lime in to make it delicious. Que riquísimo que fuera todo!

Our Internet searching brought us to Bowie, where a splurge on a 7 course tasting menu ran us 490 pesos, or a mere $25. I made a photo collage from the entire menu, but it doesn't even do it justice. Most courses were brought out and presented in a smoky glass being removed from your plate, and the flavor of everything was really good... it wasn't _just_ the presentation. We left feeling full but not stuffed, and I remember enjoying every course. The best presentation was the dessert, where the smores were done tableside with a blowtorch. You really wouldn't think this would be such a fun & enjoyable meal from the looks of the restaurant, so thank you Yelp for helping me find a great meal for a really reasonable price.

We were free the evening before our…read morereservation so we dropped in to eat without a reservation (it was early enough there wasn't a wait), and after some broken Spanish and comical hand gesturing we canceled our initial reservation. I ordered the grilled bone marrow and my friend got the grilled octopus. Amazing presentation on the octopus, served on its own cute little barbecue grill still smoking away. I think it was mole that accompanied the octopus on the plate...whatever it was it was delicious and my favorite thing from Bowie. The bone marrow portion was very generous and came with unlimited tortillas. However, I found it to be just a little too greasy for me. The drinks and ambience were great and service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend and be back for the octopus and drinks.

The cocktails were also delicious! Every course was excellent. The service was impeccable. I thought the first course with the baby corn was fascinating since it came with some insects on it. Very tasty though. For my entree I went with the fish and I was so glad I did. The sauce that came on it was soo good! Definitely the highlight of the meal. They rotate specials though so it might not always be available. This restaurant is so beautiful and I loved all the nature inside it! We even had a piano played for background music.

We arrived to our reservation on time, but they still had us wait for our table. No worries because the aesthetics and ambience of this place was seriously stunning. You feel like you have been transported to a tropical Mexican island vs the city. There was a live pianist playing which we thought was really neat. We got a nice table near the window overlooking the entire restaurant. It was a 7 course meal, and we were still full from our late lunch, but we had to partake in all 7 courses. They didn't have an a la carte menu. I'm not going to write a note about each dish, but I will say that they started off strong and then the later dishes were a let down. Some key dishes- The corn botanas 4/5 - I will say the presentation points of this dish and the dish itself were delicious! The corn was a mini corn on the cob so it was easy to just munch right off. The fresh dishes 5/5 - this was probably my favorite dish of the entire course. Something sweet 4/5 - honestly both desserts were on point, I'm not sure I can pick just one! They were very accommodating to all of our dietary restrictions and they had an option for each! I'm not sure I would return considering the price point, but it was definitely nice to experience once!
