It was also clean and fairly up to standards, however there were some tables that were not cleared from the time I entered to the time I got my food. So the pace of the cleaning could improve, but this was a couple years ago so it could have changed since then. The style is very different from the other Mexican restaurant in town. It is more modernized, with tiles, but also more chatty. I gave a 4/5 because of the starting statement. Overall not bad at all and if you want to take your family out to eat I suggest this place for Mexican food and for date night the other place.

The service was a bit slow, both to take our order and to serve our food. However, the food was good on both occasions. First, I had the tamale dinner. It was good, but not the best tamales I've ever had. For the second visit, I had the Javi's plate. It was combination of shrimp, chicken, and beef, mixed with vegetables and cheese sauce. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, traditionally decorated, and they have the friendliest staff. They have incredible food. It's always on point.
