Just found this Argentinian bakery with a nice selection of of fresh made facturas, pastries, empanadas, sandwiches , and more. Great prices and welcoming service, can't wait to go back. Tienen una muy buen selección de facturas, empanadas, sándwiches, milanesas y postres argentinos muy ricos! Probamos las media lunes, y sándwich de milanesa con unos cafés y todo estaba excelente. Servicio muy amable y precios razonables. Volveremos pronto!

Great cafe for great coffee and homemade pastries! Place is easy to find with its own parking lot. I was looking for an afternoon pick me up. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and was given great, friendly customer service from the time I walked in until the time I left. I ordered a latte and a medialuna and both were delicious. Even though it was 1 in the afternoon, the pastries still tasted fresh, you can tell they were just prepared that day. My only regret was not ordering more!

So exciting to find quality Argentinean facturas in this side of town. Pastries were fresh, the crema pastelera was on point. Dough was sweet and flaky. Cozy and cute dining area, great place for breakfast and or lunch. Can't wait to try their milanesas!

I cannot begin to describe the delight these pastries brought me. I followed those up with a café con leche so strong that Voltaire could have cut his coffee consumption in half. In the words of the timeless poet Ice Cube, "today was a good day."

Excellent bakery items from Argentina. I tried their products in Argentina and very happy to find them here! They have croissants, danish like items with cream and membrillo, and so much more. Las Medialunas del Abuelo, which translates to Grandpas Croissants, has very friendly staff that greet you and explain if you are not sure what you want to eat. Seems it has been remodeled as it is clean, bathroom included. Smooth handling, being opening day. Hours of Operation: Monday-Sunday: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM . Tel: 305.974.5285 Wifi in location. Will deliver via Ubereats and Postmates. You have to try these amazing products.

Yummmm....I was pleasantly surprised to find las medialunas de abuelo by accident whilst looking for a quick bite on 163rd st. We ordered the ham and cheese croissant made with imported ham and high quality Swiss, with a large side of love. It was sweet salty fluffy and very delicious. The beef empanadas were fresh out if the oven and the pastries with dulce de leche and guava were perfection. I ordered a large chocolate and dulce de leche cake to go for a party, which I can tell will be the star. I also picked up two slices of balcarce (merengue and dulce de leche fruit cake) which were moist and fresh. Oh, btw, they also carry sandwiches de miga which is how I initially found them on Yelp...sooo good. I highly recommend and will be back to try more and have cafe too.

Such a cute place!! Very nice bakery at very reasonable price with warm, excellent service. Highly recommend!

Friendly, fresh, and delicious. The chef was informative of his goods & even provided a sample prior to purchase.

Because I'm muy gordo I don't indulge in the Ice Cream too often but I have done "the make you own" and opted for the Black Sesame and Caramel....it was absolutely fantastic. My other go to is Pistachio Paradise with double Almond topping and Pecan Crunch rounding out the top three. My favorite things are the Savory Dishes like the Noodle Bowls, Popcorn Chicken and Savory Crepes. I've had every Noodle Bowl and Savory Crepe many times over. The service is always great, not only when you're speaking with the owner but all around, everyone is great. Whether you're looking for a dry noodle or something brothy (if that's a word) you'll find it at Sweet & Salt.

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

A few months ago I searched and found Jasper Tasty Cakes in a web search. They are not too far away from where I was at the time so I took a chance. Upon calling, the man was polite and cordial on the phone, the turn around time was fast and the end result was nothing less than AMAZING. The traditional rum cake was better than anything that I have ever had. I have not met its match since. I am now coming up on another event and need one of these great rum cakes. It will be the best on the dessert table again and will be gone in minutes. I probably should order 2 -- one for the event, one for keeping at home to enjoy.

We opted for over medium, smoked provolone and mushrooms. The pizza took a while to be ready and it was worth the wait! Deliciously crispy and smoky, enhanced by their real wood fired oven! It was a true delight! The coffee was fantastic as well. We had it black, the true test of coffee greatness, and Alaska's house roast passed the test with flying colors!
