Nice cafe/sandwich shop. Sandwiches are really high quality and well made with interesting ingredients. Bread is delicious. Well priced. Friendly service.

Glad I stumbled upon this location of tinta y cafe while i happen to be around the Miami shores area. It's located in a really cool part of the neighborhood in a building that gives you historic vibes, and giving you the excellent coffee and food you have come to know from tinta y cafe. I ordered my favorite sandwich the madurito, and it was a hit as always. Loved it, and I'll be back!

OMG. Best sandwiches ever. We rented a car for the day and eating here was worth the price of the rental alone. Got a pork, plantain, salami, and carmelized onion sandwich and an IPA. Sat outside and it was chill and nice. Server was super sweet and attentive. Wish I got a sandwich to go.

Cute place for a good cafecito and some Cuban goodies. Love that they have outdoor dining for you and your furry friend as well!

Let's just say this place gets a 10/10 for their sandwiches and cafe con leche. They have the best coffee I've had in Miami and it's the same for their other location. It can get pretty loud in here so I wouldn't say it's a relaxing environment. You come here to talk and socialize. They don't get 5 stars because they should invest as much time in training/hiring top tier staff as they do in making the food. One of the staff members, during my recent visit, was very rude and dismissive of my friend for what could have been a simple encounter and message. So what's missing is courteous staff since the staff member almost ruined our time here.

I've been coming to Tinta y Café regularly since 2020 and thought it was time to give an updated review. They have been very consistent with their AMAZING service and 5 star cafe con leche for FIVE YEARS STRAIGHT! I'm a Miami native of 46 years who grew on cafecito's so when you're blessed enough to find "that taste" (especially with milk alternatives) you're locked in for life!! My favorite beverage to order is the Sachi Mocha. It's delicious and I have to pace myself because if it were up to me I would order 2 at every sitting--it's that good. The owners treat me with the upmost respect and kindness and the managers Fabricio and Maria always greet me with a cheerful smile whenever I walk through the door! There is a certain art and ecosystem that I can tell comes with running this sort of amazing place that I've grown to respect and appreciate over the years. As a person who lives nearby and quietly sits in the corner, enjoying my coffee and watching people come and go, this establishment stays PACKED with people from the time it opens until it closes. The fact that the quality of the food and drinks are consistently amazing in spite of this is why I've come here every day for the last 5 years and bypass the other so-called "big box" coffee shops that are yards away! Gastón, Joyce Catalina and the rest of the staff give the most attentive, present and prompt service that is most appreciated by me. The barista's are fast, make beautiful latte art and they are always served with a smile! The feng shui of Tinta y Café is that of a large living room den-- there are no laptops allowed likely because people would likely use the space to come and work all day not allowing other patrons to come, dine and have a great experience. If that's what you want though, there are 2 coffee shops nearby who allow that. They promote the "Art of Conversation"--putting the technology down and getting to know people. There are some very amazing humans that walk thru these doors but you'll never know if you're glued to your phone! I would like to thank the Tinta staff for being so kind to the Miami Shores and nearby communities! I've watched you guys remain courteous, poised and calm amongst impatient, demanding customers. There is a reason that you guys continue to receive the coveted Michelin bib year after year and were featured on Good Morning America! You will forever remain my favorite coffee shop!! Xoxoxo Yaz

Local gem in the heart of Miami Shores. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Love the vibe and the open kitchen style. Breakfast was delicious. I will say the breakfast sandwich with the jam spread was a little too sweet for my tasting but thats just me. The Bori breakfast sandwich was 10-10. I can't wait to try out their lunch subs next time.

I've been going to the Tinta Y Cafe Coral Gables location quite often but decided to check out the Miami Shores location. This location is a bit bigger and more spread out but keeps the same cool and vintage/mid century decor and vibe. Same menu, staff is not as friendly here but the food was still just as solid. I'm a big fan of their coffee, sandwiches and toast. I went with El Bori which is an egg sandwich with manchego and I swapped the meat for tomato and was delicious. The cortaditos are also so good. They have great coffee! Only complaint was at the end, as mentioned staff is a bit cold here but things got a bit colder when there was a mix up with charging. The manager - Fabricio rang me up and there was a mix up where I needed to tap my card again on the machine to cover an amount and it ended up being that I was overcharged (charged twice for an item) and there was no accountability or apology to be said. Just cold and rude as if I inconvenienced him. Will probably stick to the Gables location for now but maybe I'll venture back here in the future.

Tinta eCafe has a good vibe--Popular and trendy good vibes cafe/restaurant. The food? Definitely worth it. Everything I had was flavorful and well put together--makes you want to come back just for another bite. Only thing I noticed was that they seemed a bit understaffed when I went. It wasn't a huge issue, but I could tell the flow of service would've been smoother with a couple more hands on deck. That said, the staff who were there handled it well and stayed friendly. All in all, a solid place. I'd definitely come back again.

Why has it taken me so long to come here?! This was my second time coming for lunch and it's soooo good. The food is delicious and always comes out quickly. The callejero sandwich is sooo filling and yummy. My only wish was that they would allow substitutions on their sandwiches. Their croquettes are HUGE little fat nuggets of savory deliciousness and the pastelitos have the perfect amount of filling and amazing flaky texture. Def an immediate lunch spot favorite!

Well, this is more of a long-time impression... This place is undeniably the best breakfast/brunch cafe in Miami according to my boyfriend and I. Any friend we bring has us begging to take em back. Everything is amazing, I've never disliked something new we've tried. We always get the cafe con leche, which is the best one in Miami (try it and then we can argue it lol). The most hospitable, charismatic, and nicest service you could ever hope for. Did I mention they have 3 Michelin stars? There's a reason for it! Their food is always fresh, cooked to perfection, and so so yummy. They put twists on classic cuisines that only adds to their quality. Their pastries run out fast because they're so fluffy, hot, and delicious (my favorite is the beef pastelito). Their croquettes are made hot to order and wow, are they good. The ham one is no joke, it's the biggest croquette, it is not made with your traditional ham. They use a much more savory ham that will have you rethinking croquettes altogether. Any sandwich has its own special mix of flavor, it's honestly hard to pick a favorite. The salads are BIG and so fresh. I love this place, every aspect of it. The staff, the artsy aesthetic, and the out of this world food.

Im leaving a 1 star review to the manager on shift today! I order and come in all the time since I live in the neighborhood and have always hand pleasant experience. I really enjoy the TFC sandwich but the last few times the chicken has been tough and just got good!! I called to give them a heads up and the manager says to me "well why keep ordering it" I try to explain to him why and he kept cutting me off while I was trying to tell him. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt by ordering it again. He didn't allow me to finish. He was rude, where is the customer service?!?!! I wasn't asking for a refund, I wasn't being rude. But now I'll leave a review. I was calling to say, hey guys this is happening more frequent. Have you ever bit into chewy chicken. That's what their fried cutlet is like. Gross!

I try to come here at least 1 day out of the week depending on my schedule. Their coffee is excellent my favorite thing is their lunch specials with soup of the day. For breakfast there breakfast sandwiches or build your own breakfast is also great. I've also had several of their salads which have not disappointed.

The place itself is beautiful and usually buzzing, but even though it was busy, we were seated right away. I actually love their system: you get assigned a table, look over the menu, order and pay at the register, and then they bring everything out to you. It's efficient without feeling rushed, and once you're done, you can just head out. We ordered a honey latte (so good) and a shake, plus two sweet treats and a breakfast croissant to share. Everything felt like a true treat, definitely indulgent. Not something I'd do every weekend, but honestly... I wish I could. The ambiance is stunning. Think Mamman or Pura Vida vibes, but more elevated, more boutique, higher quality ingredients, and less of that fast-casual feel. Service was great all around, and I'll definitely be back.
