MPF didn't just get me moving, it got me hooked. The instructors (Lacin, Mayari, and Ryker) and front desk admins (shout out to Azucena, Yanelly, Charmaine, and Emily) are the most helpful, incredible, and kindest humans. The classes are addictive, and the community is unmatched. Came in sedentary. Stayed for the spins, the strength, and the main character energy. Reserving was also quick and secure. The class is somewhat confusing to find at first. The class is located in a building shared with a church, martial arts, gym, and other business. The class is in building A, to the right side. Don't go to the side where it's next to the main road. Parking wasn't too bad either. Charmaine was our instructor and she was awesome! Not only was she patient with us, since some of us were late, but she made the class fun. She showed us modified moves for those who couldn't do them. We were shown floor choreography as well as pole. Since it's an introductory session, we had pole choreography but not climb on it. The music was great, and it was artists I mentioned the birthday girl wanted. Definitely worth checking out for private session or signing up for classes.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 100 STARS to WVDC & Miss Basma…read more Miss Basma is truly one of a kind! My daughter has been dancing with her for the past two years, and I can't express enough how much of a positive impact she's had. After an awful experience with a previous coach, my daughter had completely lost her love for dance. I promised her that if we tried one more time at a new studio, things would be different -- and WVDC, along with Miss B, have far exceeded that promise. Miss Basma's patience, enthusiasm, and genuine care have completely reignited my daughter's passion. She's thriving again -- excited for every class, dedicated, and full of joy. Miss B always takes the time to connect with her students and parents, and she's consistently cheerful and encouraging. I honestly don't think I've ever seen her without a big, genuine smile! She will never fully know the impact she's had on my daughter -- and I'm certain she's made the same difference for so many other little dancers. We are so grateful for her kindness, energy, and belief in her students. Miss B is an absolute gem -- thank you for bringing back the love of dance we thought was lost forever!

She definitely isn't a great dancer, but she practices and tries her hardest. This is just a fun class for girls, not elite or comp. Things started off well but then she started leaving with tears in her eyes. She says that the teacher was leaving her out of the routine and so she was sitting around most of the time, not understanding why. No explanation. I urgently asked for a callback to understand the situation. No callback. I asked the teacher, Mr Garret, next week in person. He says she wasn't getting it but he would include her more. I asked him to speak to her about her so she could feel supported and understand and how she can improve. He says he didn't have time to talk to her and said he would next week. He never did. Not excusable. My daughter continued to come back with tears in her eyes. She says that 2 other girls were giggling and laughing when she made a mistake. She didn't want to make a fuss or quit before the performance. The performance came, and she fell behind in the rehearsal. She told me a few days later that everyone laughed at her. She just did box breathing to focus and did great in the performance. It was a proud moment for our family. *I then receive an email saying that she needs to go to the class where she is overaged OR just take the SAME class but on a different day to free up space for a better dance*. Reason: she wasn't dancing well enough; wasn't fitting in socially; the class was "full" and she's kicked out. Wait, she's still being invited to the same skill but on a different day despite being a bad dancer? I was shocked and disappointed. Instead of optimizing for the culture of the class, they instead optimize against the student for not fitting in. She's not a great dancer, but she's young, tried hard, and was trying to fit in even with tears in her eyes every day. We have dropped Purdance with no hesitation and she now uses her experience as her way of being able to hold her breath to perform amidst an unsupportive environment.

The whole Nor Cal Dance Arts facility was amazing. From the outside looking in I assumed there were only one or two studios. I registered and purchased a drop-in class via the MINDBODY app. When I walked into Nor Cal Dance Arts, I noticed immediately to my left the MINDBODY check-in kiosks. I am in agreement with my friend as I absolutely loved the Heels Class as well! Something about dancing in heels made me a little nervous, but I got pretty into the class. Admittedly dancing in heels was no joke and was more challenging than I expected. It was such a blast though, and I highly recommend it. The routine, which was taught by Stephanie, was beautifully sensual. I also appreciated the energy and loving support from the other women. I felt that I was in a safe space, which made it easy to be confident about my own sexy, authentic movements.

They go above and beyond to ensure that every dancer feels confident and valued. The sense of community here is truly special--parents, students, and staff all work together to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere. The moms were incredible.
