I thought Raisa Seafood Restaurant was a "real" sit down restaurant. Wrong!! Very nice lady on the other side of the counter explained she could boil the shrimp and we could take out. Well,,what the heck! We ordered 2 pounds of large spicy boiled shrimp, 2 ears of boiled corn, and 2 sausages. All came under $18 !! Brought back to Fairfax House. The hostess got us nice plates, utensils and fancy napkins. we had a feast sitting on the floor of our room. delicious,, especially w the Smirnoff ice we purchased at local Walmart. wow! We are full, satisfied and slightly inebriated. Definitely recommend "take-out" at Raisa Seafood "restaurant"

I probably shouldn't prejudge something I'm not familiar so I was blown away by what arrived at our table - the chicken and sausage gumbo was outstanding and being that I'm a self proclaimed aficionado of everything gumbo trust me this is legit - the burgers were equally surprising to me a great butter and toasted bun a great beef patty and fresh condiments (I love when they shred the lettuce). The unlimited self-serve drink station was nice and it was well maintained and clean as was the entire restaurant.
