Order took so long we left and came back!!!! Then received completely wrong items. Called restaurant as soon as I noticed. They didn't offer to correct the order, refund the order, give me a discount on next order. Just said "sorry" How do you mess up an order you wrote down? For tacos? When you sell tacos all day? First time here and despite all the authentic looking Mexican food on the menu, I just really wanted a burger for lunch so that's the route I went.Great bun, well seasoned beef, and the mole sauce was packed full of flavor. Looking forward to going back to trying some more authentic dishes. Minus one star because they skimped on the fries a bit, but mainly because I ordered to go and the wait was a solid 25 minutes from the time I placed my order to the tine I walked out the door. Not gonna hold that against them this time, because the place had a solid lunch crowd and it became obvious to me that most to takeout orders were placed ahead of time. Lesson learned! I was highly anticipating a steak burrito with rice, beans, tomatoes, and guacamole that was ordered for my birthday by my co-workers. It was an average size and came cut in half, which I thought was odd, and with sides of salsas roja and verde. Both smelled and tasted incredible. As expected, chips were served as soon as we sat down, accompanied by 2 different salsas; salsa verde and a traditional red salsa. The verde had a bit of a kick that I really enjoyed. I ordered fajitas while the BF had a burrito. The burrito was huge, but he didn't let that stop him. He finished and enjoyed it. The fajitas were pretty good. Made it for breakfast and it was quite tasty; as homemade as it can get...Huevos a la Mexicana: rice, beans, eggs with ham and seasoning and tortillas; plus I got 2 obviously homemade tamales. Really bad customer service. Man behind counter refused to give me a receipt bcuz our order had erased from register & when I asked for a hand written receipt he refused saying it was too difficult to write out everything! Haha what a character. Food was "ok" in my opinion it needed a little bit more seasoning. & place seemed like it needed a good deep cleaning. read more

Was a regular here until recently. Last time we went, every item on our bill was over charged significantly. 11 dollar items on the menu now 20 dollars on the bill with no forewarning. Our bill was nearly double what it normally was for the same items that we generally get every time. Staff could have at least warned us that there were significant price increases. read more

The chicken enchiladas had no taste, I have better enchiladas from other restaurants. Also they automatically included the tip on the bill, I have seen that when you have a large group, but no with only two people. I argue with the cashier he kept telling me that it was a standard practice, needless to say I'm never eating there again. read more

I went there to try other mexican businesses in the area. I'll preface this by saying that I've been going to "Tio Santos" for a long time and the food and flavor profiles are completely different. I ordered a burrito "al pastor" and two chicken tacos. The burrito was huge and bland. The look and flavor of the rice turned me off. The tacos weren't anything special, it reminded me of a chopped up chicken steak, cilantro was in the taco but I couldn't even taste it. A co-worker ordered chicken fajitas that he wasn't exactly thrilled about as well. Food didn't seem very authentic at all. Quantities are big but quality suffers. I'll take quality over quantity any day. read more

Molcajetes catered our wedding rehearsal dinner for our unusual wedding down the street in Bridgeton. We had dinned at the restaurant several times before choosing them, and the food is just excellent. Fresh, authentic, lots of variety, and an incredible value.
