They serve a wide variety of burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and tortas - for my first go to a Mexican restaurant, I usually go for burritos. This time I got: Super Burrito w/ Carnitas ($9) - The burrito had a good amount of rice and refried beans. The rice was extremely fluffy instead of the more normal drier Mexican rice. There was a large amount of tomato, lettuce, onion, and cilantro added - I'd say around half the burrito was veggies. I guess it's more of a healthy burrito? The carnitas was fried very well with nice browning and crisp on some pieces. Some other places include fat and gristle in their carnitas; this one was all meat which is very well appreciated. The burrito was supposed to have cheese in it, but I think they forgot to add it. The main issue I had with the burrito was the balance of ingredients - there was a thin layer of beans/rice, a thin layer of meat, and then a huge amount of veggies that kind of made the burrito soggy. Regular Burrito w/ Carne Asada ($7.50) - The main difference between the super burrito and the regular burrito is that the regular burrito is smaller and doesn't include lettuce or cheese. I had a scale handy - the super weighed slightly over 1.5 lb and the regular around 1 lb. The balance between meat, veggies and carbs is better in the regular. I'm not sure what's up with their carne asada though - either they chop it extremely finely, or they messed up and gave me ground beef instead. Still, the meat was fried well and very flavorful. As a side note, the burritos are not griddled after assembly. This review is only for the burritos which I found to be only okay. Based on the quality of the meat, I have to assume the tacos here are much better.

Ordered Fish Supreme Tacos $11.50 and got a cup of water. They offered chips with salsa. Awesome! However, nothing special, very bland chips with salsa. Fish Supreme Tacos, came with two tacos and rice and beans on the side. Got the corn tortillas. Again, very bland. Fish did not really have taste and price tag wasn't helping either. Not sure about the other dishes on the menu but will not get Fish Supreme Tacos ever again. Regardless, service was quick and nice. Bill came out fast and did not have to wait for it.

I ordered tortilla chips the worker asked if I wanted cheese and I said sure. I also ordered the flaunts lunch special. It was a 8 until this visit. I got cheese put on the tortilla chips. Which made them soggy but I couldn't enjoy them because their from scratch tortillas chips were stale. The flaunts were presented beautifully but had left over chicken and it tasted leftover. I placed my order at 2:47 and was told 15 minutes at 2:53 they're calling me while I am 2 blocks away letting me know that my order was ready. Strange yes but I am new. I get my food and go to the park to enjoy and guess what the food was Disgusting and I had no silverware or napkins. You got time to call me to pick up my order, but not give me silverware or napkins. It took everything in me not to drop the food back off and ask for my tip back. I honestly can't say I would try this restaurant again.

A lot of restaurants have been cutting corners and sacrificing quality to turn a quick buck, but not here. Detroit 75 is representing their city well. I'm not sure if they're the 3rd best food truck in the country as currently rated, but it's the best I've tried in years. 4.56 stars.

I'm gonna start with the egg rolls, they were by far the best part. Absolutely fantastic flavor and the #75 sauce made it even better. The chicken tenders were good; but the fries were not that great. Maybe piling the tenders on top made them soggy but we ate it within minutes of receiving it. The house ranch made them better. The Atwater chicken has a lot of potential, the garlic cilantro aioli needed some salt or something, you can taste it has good body just lacked punch. So the chicken sandwich was just ok. Service: Amazing, my brother made good recommendations and they were pretty quick about getting the order ready. Always appreciate a kind face that doesn't need to rush you as you ask questions. Ambiance: You can get expensive gas while you wait for your food. I'm sure it's an awesome spot when the weather is warm. It's definitely a spot to come back to. We enjoyed our meal.
