Decided to give this a second try since it's so close to my house. Glad I did! The fried tilapia dish (Mojarra) was AMAZING! I will definitely go back here to get this again! Service was also quick!

Nacho Grande Mexican Restaurant (NGMR) is conveniently located in the Hanbury Village Shopping Center (same one as Harris Teeter). We've been to NGMR a few times and I would say it does the job when we're in the mood a quick Mexican food fix. - Vibe - It's spacious and clean. Decor is pretty standard, but one thing I love are the paintings of the Dia de los muertos face paintings. They are absolutely gorgeous. I would have taken a pic for ya, but people were in the way LOL...maybe next time! - Service - Each visit, the staff have been nice and attentive. - Eats - My husband's go-to is mostly the Fire Fighter Burrito, but he'll go for any burrito and he enjoys them enough to keep going back. I've had the Taco Loco Salad and the Lunch Fajitas. The meat is usually cooked pretty well done so it can be a bit tough. In the Fajita plate, it arrives sizzling so it keeps cooking for a bit, but everything is made to order and the sides arrive fresh and/or hot. One of my go-tos at most Mexican restaurants are Fajitas because I can just basically make a taco however I want, but with the plate of meat, all the sides and the tortillas, the portion is always too much for me to eat it on my own. I usually have to pack most of it to go. The Lunch Fajitas is a smaller portion (and honestly it was still too much for me), but it was great to have this smaller option for lunch and less to pack to take home. - Kids - They have a Kid's menu and it's a mix of Mexican and American food items. My kids usually go for the Taco plate and the Quesadilla plate which are good portions as they come with rice and or beans, depending on what you order. - Tips - * When you get your check, you pay at the front. *As of this writing, if you check-in on their Yelp page, you get 15% off your check! All in all, great service, decent food with generous portions at good prices! Stay safe, Friends!

Food is very tasty, Servive is Spot-On and the Ambiance is enchanting at 5:00. Close to home and we always feel like family

Where do I begin?! Who doesn't love the ambience at a Mexican restaurant? It's always relaxed and enjoyable. The food here has been quick, delicious and consistent each visit. I've visited frequently and have had wonderful service regardless of the hour. I first visited on cinco de mayo..extremely busy but the food was delicious and the owner was so sweet! I've also visited on a Monday afternoon multiple times for lunch and all the same. I know there's a few Los Primos, but I go to this specific location every time. (My Apple Maps still registers this as (Nacho Grande. They were bought by a new owner and it is Los Primos now)

Girls lunch today. Haven't been to Nacho grande in quite a while. It seems like things have changed! We really enjoyed the chips and dip. The white sauce had a sweet hint, and the red was different from all other Mexican restaurants it was delicious a big taste of spicy. We both ordered from the lunch Menu #9 two tacos and rice. One order was changed to soft tacos and the other was changed to chicken with soft tacos. They definitely gave a good proportion inside the taco along with the rice. I was full after one taco. Flavors were great. Came out fast and hot. I will like to return and try different items. We went around 11:40 it was empty and quite. And extremely clean. Also when I checked in Yelp gave me 15% off. Which they allowed me to use for both checks! Great service today as well!

Delicious! We had margaritas (the Fresco is AMAZING!!) and carne asada street tacos. The service was great and the food came out quick!

We had margaritas and tacos! The food and esthetic were authentic and the service was exceptional!

First time here, had to try it since it's not far from me & I LOVE Mexican. The lady who greeted us didn't seem to be happy at work, she was not very friendly. It was not busy when we came, there was probably 2 others tables occupied. The chips and salsa are probably the worst ones I've had, very bland. So we didn't even eat those and usually those are gone by the time we get our entrees. I ordered the 3 soft chicken tacos & they were average, it was like chunks of chicken pieces, some lettuce and tons of cheese. Also ordered the fried ice cream which was ok. I've never had fried ice cream but the "fried part" that was on top of the ice cream seemed stale. The waitress was also on her phone while she gave us our check lol. I probably won't eat here again, food & service was very disappointing. I wasn't expecting the most authentic Mexican food but I've definitely had better tacos else where.

I come here every week, because I have an addiction. I love Mexican food and this place will never disappoint. The staff here I've dealt with since I was little and as they've moved places we've followed. Top notch food, great service, very friendly and always on top of what you need. Plus the drinks and margaritas are also worth the try! Always clean, place is well lit and decorated. I could go on and on but ive never had any issues and if there ever was one, the owner is always on the premises to correct anything to assure the customers happiness.

This place is one of my local favorites! The taco selection is a little different than others that I go to and these street tacos are . I highly recommend this place! Quick service, delicious food with fresh ingredients and great ambiance.

We just moved right around the corner from this restaurant and after two months of driving past it, we decided to give it a try. It seems like it's always busy which is a good sign. We were seated immediately chips and salsa brought immediately to our table, as well. Our drink order was taken shortly after that. The menu is a little extensive so we had a hard time deciding what to order, ultimately my husband decided on the dinner chimichanga and I chose the Cancun special. You can see from the pictures the meal looked great and tasted just as great, very fresh and full of authentic flavors. The service was great the atmosphere was great, we definitely will be back. Just give it a try and you can thank me later.

Thhe service is on point! The Ambiance is on point! The attentiveness the drinks I cannot complain! I'm a margarita girl and the Margaritas here did not disappoint especially their Ranch Water. My favorite here is the classic quesadilla and you can choose your own protein. The first time I chose chicken and this last time which was on Sunday I chose the shrimp and added some fresh jalapenos... divine! My husband loves the fajita tacos I think that's going to be his go-to meal When We Dine here. The parking not an issue at all plenty of parking it does get busy around 6:30 7:30 on the weekend and on Wednesday which is 899 fajita nights. Now I will admit you on this night in particular I did get the steak fajitas I wasn't a fan of them but I still tore them up! The quantity that you get for 899 super super duper:] So pack your patience if you come on one of the busy nights. Today being Tuesday as I'm typing this review it's Taco Tuesday so tacos are a dollar and 50 Cent after 5:00 p.m. so I'm sure this night is going to be busy. Nevertheless it's worth visiting and priced just right! Have fun and enjoy life :)

We were sat immediately around 630 on a Friday evening. We received chips and dips before I could even sit down! Our server promptly greeted us and drinks were ready within minutes. So far, so good. For dinner, hubby had the Vegetarian E which came with a burrito, quesadilla and chalupa, daughter had the kids quesadilla with beans and I initially selected the shrimp bowl. Our food took about 15 minutes. Both quesadillas were barely warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. The refried beans were loaded with red pepper and too spicy for my child. My shrimp bowl was overwhelmed by cheese and aioli that I couldn't stomach it. Our server kindly let me order something else so I selected the shrimp taco salad. It arrived shortly thereafter but was also so greasy it made my stomach turn. 2 stars just for service. 0 for food. Overall, this meal was an unfortunate waste of $50.

For my main, I mixed things up with a taco trio! Carne Asada (marinated steak, onion, queso fresco, avocado, cilantro), Chicken Tinga (marinated chicken, refried black beans, avocado, greens, queso fresco, cilantro) and Blackened Mahi (mezcal pickled onion, red cabbage, red pepper pico, chipotle sauce, cilantro). The blackened mahi was my hands down favorite. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My friends tried some awesome dishes too!
