Disappointing. Bland. Service marginal. We ordered a taco salad and combination relleno, burrito and enchilida. We won't be going back.

Stopped here between customer meetings and going home and it was a great decision. The food was yummy and the service was quick and kind.

I was in the area and I looked on Apple Maps and filtered the Yelp results for Mexican Cuisine. I really enjoyed the surrounding country side and farms. The area looks like a place someone would love to retire in. I went for the highest rated Mexican restaurant in the area. I was surprised to see the outside of the building, it looked like an old gas station or house. The parking lot seemed full so it had to be good. I live in an area of Nashville where there is a plethora of good authentic Mexican and Central American cuisine. I still have an affinity for these kind of Tex-Mex places in most of the US. Upon entry I was greeted immediately and seated immediately. The menu did have a good selection of traditional tex Mex options. I opted for the Carne Asada with corn tortillas. The food came out very quickly and I enjoyed the meal. My only criticism was the tortillas were not hand made and also the beans seemed very light in color which is not to my liking. The best thing about this meal was the price! Very reasonable. I would eat here again if in the area. read more

Ok.......where I live there at 7 Mexican restaurants- none of them are "great".......this one is GREAT! We came here after a day on the lake and were pretty hungry- my husband order led the grande combo- it came on 4 plates! I ordered the chimichangas- both were Fabulous! Even the beans and rice- which is really saying something because normally those are bland sides. My husband just said this is the best Mexican food he's had in a long time! Los Rancheros - Mexican Near Me - Burns, Tennessee

This little spot in Burns is a hidden secret gem. I grabbed lunch here one day. The food came out pretty quick, but it was top notch! Better than I expected for a small town Mexican restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The lunch prices were very reasonable. It was under $10 before drink for a lunch special. I will definitely be eating here again next time I'm in this area. read more

Very good atmosphere! Unique decorations. Staff were excellent. Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and eager to provide best service. All food was delicious. I had taco's with shredded beef. The beef was very good. The Cole slaw was a surprise, something you do not ordinarily see but was very good. My wife's had a taco and an enchilada. Both were very good. Portions were large you are not going to go away hungry. Beans were served with the chips and salsa. A nice unique touch. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

This is our regular stop for great Mexican food. While there are 3 other places in town, this one is small and out of the way but usually packed. We've had most items on the menu but the Carnitas are the best we've had. Combine the great food with a warm,welcoming staff makes this top notch. read more

We are from California visiting family in Burns. My sister and brother in law took us to Los Rancheros twice during our stay and we couldn't have been more impressed with the food, beverages (the mango margaritas -yummy) and the wonderful service. We always order guacamole casero when we visit a new (to us) restaurant and are often disappointed. Not here! Theirs is excellent! Perfectly seasoned with some heat but not too much. Ate lunch here this past weekend. It was pretty good, flavorful, and they're not afraid of using seasonings. There is a Mexican restaurant closer to my home that is so bland, just no flavor at all. We will drive the add'l distance to Los Rancheros going forward. Service was attentive also. Update: We've been here 3 times so far for weekend lunch. The last 2 times I ordered the beef lunch fajitas. Guys, you know how fajitas usually sound & look better than they actually taste? We had tried this place a few times and the food that we normally get is really good but at some point I would like to try some of the other dinners. They stay busy most of the time. The drinks look really good but I have not got to really try them. I would recommend trying this place it will not be a disappointment. I would give it a 3 and a half for now. read more
