Everything was a 10/10 experience. The food was all really good and Tavio's service was excellent. The salsa is made in front of you in a traditional molcajete and the tortillas are really good. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food

Amazing feast with salsa, guacamole, tripe, and margaritas (I personally loved the Tamarindo one if you enjoy that kind of candy)

Let me start by saying I wish I had found this place sooner! It had amazing food, I highly recommend getting the salsa and guacamole. They are fresh and delicious! Another thing to mention is that it had indoor seating with cool A/C. Everywhere else we had eaten during our trip had us outside melting away, so it was nice to be able to enjoy our meal without constantly needing ice and water. Lastly, the service was impeccable. They were the friendliest people and made us feel like family. By the end of it, we were all talking and taking shots to celebrate our trip to Mazatlan It was a perfect way to end our time here in beautiful Mazatlan.

A LIFESAVER for vegans in the golden zone. They make delicious fresh guacamole and salsa at your table with a mortar and pestle, and offer a vegan Molcajete and tortillas which is a hot pot of sauces and vegetables which you can make into tacos at your table. Few options but absolutely delicious, filling and worth an honorable mention in an area where vegan options are very hard to find. We went back a second time and were just as satisfied. Note: they are moving locations after December 31, 2022, but told us they are not closing and will be reopening. They said to check their Facebook for updates.

This place was fantastic. It's a bit touristy, but still worth it! First, the decor is Mexican eclectic and very fun/interesting. Second, the show of making the salsa and guacamole in front of you is so fun, and both are delicious! Highly recommend. Lastly, the food is very tasty, with large patroons and reasonably priced. I'm vegetarian (in Mexico--Vegan in the US haha), and I got the Vegetarian Molcajete. It was very delicious.

Wonderful food, we split several appetizers as a group all were outstanding!!! Excellent salsa and guacamole both prepared table side as good as my fat ass has ever had! Fat Tom was with so the salsa was prepared "not too spicy"! The service was perfect the waiter even did a few fun magic tricks. Prices very reasonable for the food, drinks and level of service! Highly recommend this joint!

Went here tonight with family and friends. When you arrive you have to walk up faux mountain steps to the second floor of the building to enter the restaurant. Upon entering I noticed a lot of decorations still up for Christmas along with the 6 foot tall Tequila bottle. Oh yeah, it's going to be a fun night I thought. 10 of us arrived for drinks and dinner. Our drink orders were promptly taken and I went for my favorite Margarita, the Tamarindo. Tamarind is fantastic here and usually you get candied pieces of Tamarind in your drink. However tonight, just a sugared Tamarind rim. The Margarita was decent but not the best I have had in Mazatlan. We had guacamole made table side and it was good. Any fresh Mexico avocados beat a Haas hands down any day. We also had fresh made cheese that was made this morning served with hot refritos and tortilla chips with fresh salsa. I really enjoyed that. The cheese was almost a curd consistency but smoother and would easily break if you tried to pick up a square. VERY tasty. For the main course I had the combination fajitas with Carne Asada, chicken and prawns. Arrived sizzling hot and the portion was so huge I took 1/2 for lunch tomorrow. Lots of fresh crisp shrimp, generous portions of chicken and beef filled the plate. Sautéed onions, mushrooms, peppers and melted cheese on top made this a great dish. The meat was cooked perfect Tender, not chewy, and very flavorful. Chicken was good as well. Served with salsa, guacamole and your choice of flour or corn tortillas, I would definitely get this again but come much hungrier. TIP: 2 People could easily share the combination fajitas and probably be fulll. Service was good and the atmosphere was festive. There are a lot of things (eye candy) hanging from the ceiling. Definitely a place to bookmark. 4 stars The song of this review is Eye Candy by Pink Floyd.

We've been to Los Zerapes many times. On our trip to Mazatlan this year I asked for something vegan and they prepared a delicious vegetable molcajete!

This place is incredible! One of the favorite restaurants I tried during my vacation. They make the chile table-side, they bring a delicious appetizer and guacamole. The seafood zarape was probably the best dish I tried! The salsa is so flavorful I could have licked it clean.

Lovely service, welcoming. They have a daily specials menu; but we eat from the regular menu. They make salsa table side.

This place is actually called Mr. Lions. Came here last year and was unimpressed but my friend…read morereally wanted one of their drinks in a coconut "coco loco" is what it's called. Some positives: - it's on the beach, - great view of the ocean, - the special guacamole is delicious That's all. It took over 20 minutes to get a server to take our drink order and the place wasn't busy. But in the meantime the tequila sample guy brought over 4 bottles of tequila for us to taste. Eventually a server came by after we flagged one down took our orders. My order came wrong twice. How do you screw up a beer. Oh well. The coco loco took a long time to come to the table, but it's a giant coconut and probably took time to break into. I shared the special guacamole with my one friend and the other ordered the chicken chimichangas. She loved them. If my friend didn't want to come to this location I never would have come back.

Staff keeps the night moving with a fun party vibe. I'd definitely recommend this place for a small group looking for fun, music (acoustic 80s/70s top 40 hits) & drinks. Food was VERY bland. I had the enchiladas rojos and it didn't taste like anything at all... tortillas were dry and the chicken inside was dry and bland, the cheese was thick and greasy and it dominated the dish. I definitely wouldn't return for any food. Looking for authentic mexican cuisine and this was a disappointment to the taste buds.
