This park is not easy to find, but if you have time and you are a sightseer, you should make the trek off the highway to find this place. You can sit amongst ancient Indian burial mounds (at least 5 of them) and watch the watercraft travel by below. The park is well groomed, has many sightseeing benches and some picnic tables available. Like I said, the view is amazing. You can see up and down the river below, and it's kind of neat to think of the history this spot must have had with the many burial mounds around. They are well marked and easy to see. Chained off for obvious reasons, but you can go right up to them. The only draw backs to this view is the noise of the traffic going across the I-94 Bridge located below and a little to the south of the park. I'd is interesting to watch the traffic, but it does create a bit of a constant hum. The other interesting thing is that the roads are not really marked that well so you might end up in a dead end on your way out!

We reserved a private party since we had 8 people. Our start time was 2:00 and one person in our group decided to arrive separately- the staff was so nice and patient while we waited for our last friend who ended up being 20+ minutes late (I was less patient). We had a ref and got our pick of the many courses in the field. We rented guns and bought paint and basically had a blast despite the fact that it was really hot out and we all sweat a lot through our masks. We had a range of experience with paint ball and with guns in general and our ref walked us through the process and showed us the ropes. I have just 3 suggestions/comments. First, it is a little unclear when signing up for the private party that the $100 you pay is not really a deposit, like it states, but is actually a registration/rental fee. I was under the impression that the $100 would go toward my rental package but was told otherwise when we arrived. That was frustrating but made sense when it was explained to me- it just needs to be clearer on the website. Second, I was disappointed that the paint was white! I thought the point of paint ball was to be colorful so that was a bummer but didn't really detract from our experience. And third, because my friend wanted me to mention this, they sell Doritos at the concession but not Cool Ranch Doritos so plan ahead. :)

It's been a while since we played this course. We played the highlands. I loved it. I grew up in…read morethe bluffs along the Mississippi so it felt like home. The course was in good shape. Tee boxes and greens were well kept. I'm not sure if they even allow walking but the distance between holes is immense. We saw bunnies, deer, hawks, eagles, and a turkey. The forward tees were about 5000 yards which is a good distance. Loved the views of the river and bluffs from up high. A signature hole is #17 which is a par 3 that is about 130yds from the forward tees but plays like less than 100 yds because it's straight down. Fun.

I attended the "Sup Girl Boogie 2023" event on Saturday and I was not sure what to expect being my…read morefirst Boogie. The day was beautiful and lots of people jumping while you wait for your turn to jump you can relax in the shade or the sun and watch the skydivers land. Lots of excitement and laughter as well as temporary fear all around you. The place is very green and has lots of lush grass with clovers and the corn and beans provide a beautiful backdrop. The orchestration of how fast they get you in the air over and over is amazing to watch. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The training provided is second to none keeping safety always first. This day I performed two jumps. My second one hands down so far is my most memorable one. I ended up in a cloud and I saw a mesmerizing circle rainbow as I circled to escape the cloud. Then the fun continues with a cornfield landing that required lots of hiking to get out of. My instructors Monique and Taylor went over safety and procedures over and over and were amazing. As I worked on my tan and napped and watched and learn from other jumpers it filled me with excitement and eagerness to learn more. The skydiving community is wonderful and they make everyone feel at home. Lots of storytelling and they took the time to answer all your questions and explain to you in detail and they didn't mind the millions of questions I had as a new person. As night approached they prepared for the Boogie. It started with dinner and drinks then eventually lead to crazy fun games and music and dancing and partying. If you have thought about skydiving and have not done it I would at least recommend coming to check out skydive twin cities. Once you're here and you see what's happing and how fun it looks you will want to try it. This place is great for large groups and events and also amazing for a date night.

The owner & the yoga instructor were super chill. Great way to re-energize - fresh air & goats! They had mats. Trust me, don't bring your own; you're in an outdoor, hay-filled pen area. You will get dirty. You will smell like barn. Totally worth it. Instructor was easy to follow; good easy flow to the class. The goats just roam, but a few times during the class they entice them by putting a little feed on your mat. They're super friendly, sweet. Some were more snuggly that others. Beautiful coloring, markings. At the end of the class they bring out the baby goats to hold, you can take pictures, and do your favorite yoga pose with your favorite goat.

I gifted a joint eFoil class with Zen Watersports to my husband for his birthday and we had the…read morebest time. First of all, Beth was very flexible with the scheduling. The Friday we were originally going to do it was too stormy and she worked with us to come the following Sunday when the weather was much nicer. She also provided wetsuits since we're getting later in the season. Beth did a great job explaining the rules of safety and mechanics of the eFoil. She has helmets with headsets so she can coach you while you learn. Beth was super positive for our entire lesson and my husband and I both managed to get standing and "flying" within the three hours we had with Beth. Once she had coached both of us she let us run the eFoils around the river until they ran out of battery. We both had huge grins on our faces from all the fun we were having.
