They provide you with a map and show you exactly where to go and how to get there. I came here to look at a place...potential buyer here...& was treated like a VIP each time I visited. The lots are clean with nice manufactured homes and trailers on them. Very friendly people live here. Many are part-timers or "snowbirds" as we call them here I. Arizona but very helpful and approachable people. I have talked to a few of them who welcomed me with a smile and a handshake. This community has all sorts of activities for the 55 & over crowd plus a huge pool area with a spa. A large community center/clubhouse is also on site.

Every time we would visit, I definitely caught myself staring at the beautiful mountain views. This resort has a spa, restaurant onsite, and lots of golf activities with a shop if that's your forte/hobby. Alisha Heath, our most recent PM, sent an e-mail that the office would be closed today, and we have never even met her/him/it (I'm not good with pronouns). In fact, in three years we have only met two of the Property Managers, and one was asking for us to remove a "Let's Go Brandon" flag. Agave Village has completely gone to hell in the last few years. There are dozens and dozens of homes for sale, but nobody will buy here. While Roots Management (formerly Treehouse Management...which shows how far they have sunk) makes it impossible for residents to sell, they continue to raise our space rent and gouge the residents on their electric bills, because they meter the usage instead of SRP.

There's available boat launching marinas, sandy beach boat launches, lakeside beaching for swimming, grilling, picnicking and camping. The wildlife as a whole is abundant. The area is an extraordinary place to stake out for a day, or a few days. The ample, spacious and well equipped lodges and main house offer abundant and fun activities for couples, families and kids! Relaxing, enjoyable and natural - we look forward to returning soon!

We brought our fishing boat & there was plenty of room for our boat, trailer & truck in all parking lots. We paid for a dock slip too which was handy. We stayed in the hotel, one of the full kitchen/double queen rooms that faced the lake. The room was clean, beds were very comfy, they brought extra pillows when we asked & plenty of hot water. We ate at the restaurant 3 times and the food was great & servers were very nice! The little store has most things you might forget at home. The 4 stars is for a few things: there are no coffee mugs in the kitchen, no pans for the oven, they don't answer the phone, they only sometimes answer the texts, there is almost no cutlery in the kitchen, the towels are very rough, no paper products except toilet paper and when you book you don't know any of these things because amenities aren't included in the room description or website. And you can't ask ahead because they don't answer the phone. Some others items to note for planning purposes: the coffee maker is a 4 cup maker, the dock doesn't have power and there is no toaster. Bring all items with you as if you're camping. I've included some photos of what IS in the kitchen. That being said, we had a great time and I'll definitely be back!

I'll say the good before the bad, the site has a lot of options for views, boats and water activities you can rent out. They were flexible with our booking of a boat as our animals were struggling with the heat and trailer wasn't cooling fast so we planned to leave the next day around noon instead of being on the boat all day. It's quite secluded in the Superstition Mountains and the views of the Cacti Mountains and salt river are just lovely!!! There's lots of access to the water and they do have a restaurant bar and a convenience store that's open till 8 I believe. They allow animals too which is awesome. Now for the tougher aspects that made us never want to come back. The staff were so rude, most of our interactions left us frustrated minus a few. The "grocery store" was subpar and more of a convenience store with nothing we could utilize to make a meal. Before we arrived we called for two days straight with no answer text back or anything they finally picked up on our final try as we are less than 20 minutes from 88 and trying to double check we were headed for the right road, only to be sassed by the employees and told yeah it is after a round about confusing conversation that wasn't entirely helpful not clear to the majority of our group and it was also treated as if it where a stupid question. To me if you are dealing with tourist (which we were) be understanding and remember that not everyone has been here before. What we learned? Route 88 IS PAVED but is entirely switch back turns so be warned if you're hauling anything which is fine but not something we were warned of or made aware of nor could we identify such till we where already at the road and incapable of turning around with our trailer (NOT A TURN AROUND FRIENDLY ROAD until the marina) and it is a thin road. The whole way via 88 IS PAVED but you have to come from somewhere North like Payson. If you come from Pheonix it's supposedly a dirt road so be warned we didn't take it as we had animals new to the road tripping and a trailer we were not taking on a 4X4 road so unsure how true this information is or isn't! Just want others to feel more informed than we did going into it. The best part are the boat renters and helpers on the dock who had the best attitude. Not a bad site and if you're not from AZ here's some need to know info.

This is a Beautiful BRAND NEW PROPERTY and you must not pass it up!!!!…read more It's the BEST that downtown Mesa has to offer right now. The room rooms are full service. With a full-size dishwasher, fridge, stove, sink, and garbage disposal. I stayed five nights and six days and I felt very much at home. All of the employees are friendly and they smile. When I stayed here a week ago the hotel had just been open only two weeks. There were no problems. The management is approachable and kind. Staff is willing to go out of their way to help you. Currently, there is a brand new ice cream, soda, coffee, and donut shop being built next-door. Along with a beautiful Italian restaurant. It was not quite open when I was staying but they were very close. You're within two or so blocks to the main drag on Mesa Drive. Restaurants, breweries, shopping, and beautiful downtown strolling. This is just the perfect location. If you are LDS, the Temple is literally two blocks away. The LDS visitor center is one block. Any Temple business you have or any out-of-town family coming in for Temple business, have them stay at this hotel. When you go to get your key and check in, pull up to the front of the hotel, there are a just a few spots to park temporarily! Get checked in, get your key, then you go park your car in the parking garage behind the hotel! The hotel has two baggage carts that you can use to bring things from your car! I can't say enough good things about this property. I'm so lucky to have gotten to stay in the early days of their opening. There are no other hotels in downtown Mesa compared to this. Plus the price is reasonable.
