Really enjoyed the vibe, from the chalkboards to the arcade games and foosball. Went for Ladies Night and it was pretty busy but the bartenders were nice and made strong drinks. Only downside to me was the red solo cups they used, they spill really easily. read more

If you're in to Smokey dive bars you have found your spot ... ladies night is Wed , so they drink for free ( 4 comp tickets ) decent music , pool tables , couple arcade games ... since I'm not a smoker the cigs were a bit much but a decent time none the less. read more

Great dive bar, highly recommend if you're in SOBE. They have drag shows, which are pretty great. Drinks aren't to expensive and doesn't get overly crowded. It's a perfect place if you want to just chill, because south beach can get pretty crowded. read more

I had went here not long ago due to being drawn to the name of the bar, as it's the name of one of my all time favorite books as well as movies, The Lost Weekend, thinking it to be strictly coincidental...both worth checking out by the way (the film is an adaptation of the novel). So you can imagine my surprise and excitement upon seeing the homage to the film on one of the walls. I love a good game of pool too so Lost Weekend for me was the icing on the cake of an already memorable vacation in Miami. I will definitely come back on my next visit. read more

I have been a few times before in this place and usually i liked it. However, this time was especially unpleasant. The whole system of holding the tables while you keep winning is absolutely ridiculous. We came as 4 people and not even able to play pool? I understand that there is a table that you can rent for an hour. But this is a single table in the property and the wait for the queue of playing is really long. And many other tables work for "win/lose" rule. In this case I came with my 3 friend's and we were never able to play pool after waiting for the table for 2 hours. And when we lost to the leading team at the table, all the hours of waiting were completely wasted. It really made the whole experience really unpleasant. I have to say that i talked to the managers and they explained me the system and in general were really nice and useful. But this system or holding the tables is really bad in general. I wouldn't want to come there again if i'm not even able to play pool, which was what i was hoping for. I hope there is something that can be done with this. Furthermore, the security guy has been extremely rude to my friend, who was standing near the table which we were supposed to play at. He was trying to kick her out because in his opinion she was in the way of the guys playing. This guy pushed her and shouted at her making her cry. I think this is completely unacceptable for this kind of establishment. It was really not respectful, rude and unprofessional. read more

Ehhhhh. YOU WILL NEVER BE PHILLY IN MIAMI! claims to have authentic South Philly cheesesteak (which is not a thing in Philadelphia but okay.) Got one which my friend paid for it. Then I turned around and paid for it again. Found out yesterday. So you got 21 dollars for one sandwich that was supposed to be 11 dollars. Then I get my food and kicked me out for something I never did. Then the south Philly sandwich was just another cheese steak without the Philadelphia attached. Will be calling right now to get my card reversed and this charge taken off. The order I paid for didnt have the extra cheese on it so I know it wasnt the sandwich I ate which means they made pay for some other bloaks sandwich. Not going to fly with me read more

Pool and booze in a cool dive bar. One of the few places in South Beach that isn't a tourist trap or will break the bank for a round of drinks. This is as much pool hall as it is a bar. Awesome place to drink and a must visit when in SoBe. Staff was awesome too. read more

First, let's just say this bar is not for everyone. If you like to hang out in lounges with nice, cushy furniture, pretentious, materialstic people and pay $16 for a drink, go someplace else. If you want to hang out with down-to-earth people, who just want to have some drinks, listen to music and have fun, then you will love the Lost Weekend. The bartenders are the best. My girlfriend and I stopped in there for happy hour on a Thursday night after having ridiculously expensive drinks on Ocean Drive, and got a pitcher of PBR and played a couple of games of pool. We stopped in there on Saturday night as our last stop and again on Sunday. We did see some douchy guys bring their own pool sticks or wear a glove for playing pool (who does that?) but for the most part the crowd at the bar is friendly and fun. read more

Yeah, so I totally LOVE this place, and yes I love dive bars :) One of my fav places to hang out. They play great tunes (have a killer juke box), have pretty cheap beer & sick specials, pool tables, air hockey, friendly people (it's always interesting people watching), TVs for sports, nice bartenders, I hang out there... none of the stuck-up bullsh*t....plus you can get food from the Aliby that is tucked neatly inside. I lost my heart at Lost Weekend in the course of the past year or so. This has become, hands down, my favorite bar on the beach. It's just SO freakin' awesome. These days, I don't do drinks on the beach without Lost Weekend on my itinerary. So yeah, go there. You'll love it, and if you don't - I don't love you. read more

We came here on our one night adventure, looking for more down-to-earth dive-like bars. The bouncer was certainly entertaining and gave us a little insight into the area and what types of crowds to find and where to find them. We headed in and were immediately greeted by quite a mish-mash of people. There was a girl that was obviously attempting to be Iggy Azalea; a girl in a completely unbuttoned button down, tucked into a mini skirt that showed most of her butt; serious pool sharks; a crowd of birthday celebrators; and just people looking to have a drink and play some pool. I've never played pool, so we decided that night would be when I'd learn. The crowd made me comfortable and I wasn't embarrassed to be fumbling my way through the game, which was incredibly appreciated. The bartender was super nice. Especially because I was confused about the name of the place--the bar area and the kitchen have different names--and I'm sure that's something that he gets a lot and can be annoying. Lost Weekend is a great alternative to the more pretentious clubs on South Beach. Nice beer selection, decent food (love the truffle fries!), pool tables and enough room to spread out makes for laid-back time. You will find me in the back of the bar playing pinball. Don't know of any other bars with pinball on the beach. read more

I love this bar, honestly love it. The shrimp po'boy is ahmazing, as well as all other food I've tried so far. Pool tables, pinball, foosball are fun while drinking and they have awesome specials everyday of the week. My most recent visit was wends , which is ladies night. Starting at 10 pm every lady gets 6 tickets each valid for a free well drink. $2 jello shorts, and $3 draft beers keep the men happy too :) overall a fun cheap place to come on the beach! read more

Went to Lost Weekend late on Sunday night on a Holiday weekend. Even though the kitchen was busy, I only ordered a round of drinks. Quality Although I did not have any of the food, based on the amount of people eating it seems like the food would surpass standard bar fare. It may not be a place that looks like you would want to eat at, but the crowd would seem to think otherwise. I had no problems with the drinks they were exactly what was ordered. Quantity Good pours of solid drinks, no complaints at all. Value The drinks would probably be considered a bit high for a dive bar, but for a bar right on the heart of Miami Beach they were a steal. Ambiance Lost Weekend is a dive bar half a block off Collins Ave right near the main stretch of South Beach. When you walk in the first thing that hits you is the cloud of smoke that hangs over the entirety of the bar. The bar defies many standard dive bar expectations however because of the high ceilings. It is a huge space and it just seems strange how high the ceilings are. But once you look around the floor you are reminded where you are at. On the left side of the bar is the long bar, which stretches into the kitchen. Then the open space is filled with about six pool tables, each one of which was occupied. On the floor you will also find a foosball table, a few arcade games, and even an air hockey table. The music was a bit unexpected as it was almost entirely Rihanna, but I believe it was because someone had flooded a jukebox machine. Later it shifted to more acceptable hip-hop, but it seems like it should have been more of a rock flavor. Crowd The crowd was all over the place, which is often the case in this area of Miami Beach. You can easily spot the regulars who spend hours every day sitting at the Lost Weekend bar. You can find the groups out for a bar crawl or someones birthday. Then there are the people way overdressed and very confused about where they ended up. However, somehow it works and everyone is having a good time. Service The bartender noticed us almost immediately when we stepped to the bar. He was quick with the drinks, and had no issues despite the very loud music. Parking In this area you may be able to find some street parking and there are lots sporadically placed. However, this is a hotspot for the police to hang out, so plan ahead and consider getting a ride if you plan to have a few drinks. Extra Lost Weekend is a pretty good dive bar. Even though I have no problem with smoke, it is almost excessive here and you end up smelling like an ashtray. However, the drinks are good and there are plenty of fun games and fun people to keep you busy. They definitely need to get a handle on the music selection though. read more

Lost Weekend is one of my favorite late night stops on the beach. It's a really laid back place to come and relax with a beer, delicious food and to shoot some pool. They have several different beers, some of which I've never even heard of...so if you're into trying new beers they have plenty. Perhaps not as much as Yardhouse or DRB but still a good amount. The best part is the food that they serve in the back at the Alibi. The shrimp po-boy and the Philly cheese steak are my favorites....but everything they make there is good. I made the mistake of going on ladies' night. I understand that women getting free drinks don't tip, and a bartender makes money off of tips. Being a "lady," I guess they assumed I wasn't in the market to pay for my own drinks (despite holding money out in my hand), but they had ciders and lambics, and usually I don't mind buying better tasting brews. I'm not a Bud-Lite kind of gal. The bartenders were rude, the place overly crowded, and the music meh. I will not go back. read more

We stopped in here while exploring the neighborhood bar options. It is exactly as described by other reviewers-- a casual punk rock pool hall. Social D and Misfits on the jukebox, a few people shooting pool, reasonably priced drinks. We couldn't stand to let the air hockey table sit by itself in the corner, and had to feed it a few bucks. Always nice when the air hockey machine is actually well-maintained. :) read more

Not sure what others think but this is one of the worst places to eat the cheesesteak is nothing more than frozen chip steak on a. Average bun. Anyone who think this food is good and is asinine. Terrible place, me and my friend are both over 30 and the place refused entry for not bringing ID even though we weren't drinking and we're staying in the billiards area. The security was extremely rude and hostile and yelled in our faces. Shady and sketchy place. read more

Seems like the bartenders don't like making tip money. They'll rather have you waiting 15-30 mins for a drink order. Meanwhile they help all the non-tipping girls on ladies night(wends). While clearly seeing you need help, they simply avoid you. Cool place for locals when served. But I've been living in miami for 2 years and the staff hasn't changed there attitude towards customer service a bit!! Giving the 2 stars for a few good times. read more

This place is pretty cool, does not have the "beach" feel to it, more like a dive bar but bigger. They have a few pool tables and a fooseball table set up and some pinball machines in the back. There is a small upstairs area that fits about 10 people with a table some sofas and darts. The beer is cheap for beach standards and they have a ladies night on Wednesday. It gets pretty packed at it gets later into the night. read more
