Called the shop during business hours and they answered! I was at Indigo Piercing and Tattoo at an appointment trying to get my daughter's navel pierced for her birthday. Indigo wanted to charge $30 for the piercing procedure + $88 for the belly button ring. $88!! The cheapest one they had was $44, but my daughter wanted the simple gem set beads at the end of the rod. So after being disappointed there with not only the insane price but also the attitude of the piercing tech who wouldn't remove her mask to speak to a deaf client, we called Lotus. After speaking to Sean we walked right out of Indigo and headed to Lotus. We were quoted $50 for the piercing procedure and the jewelry and walk ins were welcome. When we arrived, we were greeted kindly! No one was masked up and my daughter (who is deaf) felt much more comfortable. She chose THE EXACT SAME belly button ring that Indigo wanted to charge $88 for and we walked out of Lotus paying $50 + tax total. Their selection was simple and much more diverse. More colors, more options, etc. anyway, the shop owner/manager was great, the piercing tech did awesome as well, and they gave us great after care instructions. Including advice on a sterile cleaning solution without making us pay the extra for the one they're carrying. The whole thing walking in and back out took less time than the time we spent at Indigo trying to figure out which jewelry would be better and why it costed so much and cancelling the appointment etc. and they let my son sit nearby us with my infant while I went to help my daughter with interpreting. 10/10 recommend Lotus. I've done my 2nd lobe piercing almost 2 months ago and I was so nervous, the lady helped me with my ears piercings and she was really nice! When she pierced my ears I thought it was going to be painful but NO it actually didn't hurt at all (to me it didn't hurt) and I was like "wow" lol I was in relief! The lady reassured me that it is going to be ok and gave me instructions on how to take of it. I did buy a mini saline spray from them for only 10$ and I was happy with the results. Extremely happy with my nose piercing. I've had my nose pierced three times before this and everytime I've developed a keloid and the piercing has closed up on me. I went to Lotus in September last year and got my nose pierced. I was worried about Keloids and they assured me that the material they use will not cause Keloids. Well they were right. I got married in December and removed the nose ring for the event. I didn't put the nose ring back in for 3 weeks and the piercing never closed. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I am really happy I read some of the reviews because this location is indeed in a mall which is run down, but it didn't deter me from coming in to their shop at Lotus. I gave Sean a chance and he was my piercer & he was so professional and very nice. He pierced both my ears and I had told him about some of my concerns over my old piercings that I got done when I was younger and told him about having scars and stuff behind my ears. He did a great job by making sure the piercings were straight and avoiding my old pierced holes. I appreciated his recommendation on the nielsmed spray which is such a affordable price considering he's selling it for $10 and online it's 10.99+ to $14.99 + shipping. I will definitely come back to his shop to support his business once I run out of saline spray for my piercings or if I want to have another piercing done. Overall. I highly recommend coming here and don't let the location fool you from getting your piercings! All of his jewelry are high grade and he sells Swarovski earrings which surprised me. I also got a earring for my husband and he loved it. I love mine as well and so far my ears pierce are healing well. Oh! I'm coming from a review I left two years ago. About a bad tongue piercing. It was January 2020. I got a tongue piercing as the same time by best friend got a septum. So re check your records. I did come back and talked to the manager and he checked my piercing saw it had nerve damage and took it out then offered to either re pierce my tongue or give me another one for free. To this day I have nerve damage in my tongue and have scar tissue fucked up it feels like a little lump in my tongue. I politely declined the offer because of how traumatized I was. I have pictures I have videos. And the video shows the guy who did both of our piercings. So if you would like to see those and see how your employee put a needle in my tongue CROOKED. I normally only post good reviews but had to share my experience here. Please do NOT go here. I went in with 6 friends and they pierced us wrong. I had to go to a different shop to get the CORRECT length of bar that cost me an extra $50 somewhere else because the bar he put in was the wrong length. The piercer there put my snake bites in crooked. I have never had this much pain from a piercer and given that all my friends had problems too, says a lot. My piercing isn't infected whatsoever, just swelling. Don't recommend !! read more

My helix didn't get infected and I usually have that issue, so I was thoroughly surprised. Fast forward to November later that year and I got a septum, and to my surprise Sean remembered me! I looked completely different, and it felt so good to know he remembered us. I needed to stretch the septum the next morning and he helped us free of charge which was great and not painful at all! You can even tip him over venmo if you don't have cash. This is the only piercing place that's my go-to because of the prices and the fact that I've never had a bad experience here in contrast to my other piercings. My friend and I are going through an phase where we just want to get new ear piercings whenever we get the chance. Last week, I looked up piercing places around us and Lotus came up with really good ratings. I wanted simple lobe piercings, and my friend wanted a low helix. I didn't really read to check exactly where this place was at, so I was not expecting it being inside a strip mall. Surprisingly, there were some people walking around although most of the stores were closed. Walking in, you have to turn left and the piercing/clothing store is to your right. The guy at the register was really nice, he had us fill out the paperwork, showed us our earring options and then took us to the back. The room looked clean, he took out the tools and went ahead and marked where he would be inserting the needle. He did not give me a warning on the first ear which I appreciated. Minimal pain and quick. I'd give it a 4.5 stars, but their earring selection was very limited. Service was great, very quick and so far healing well. read more

This place is in a mall that looks abandoned, it's kinda sad but with Covid and the huge open air shopping center just across the way it's not surprising. There are some interesting things going on in there! With all the homeless population already living there they should just turn it into a shelter. But this review is for the little shop with some cool clothes and stuff all over the inside. I'm so happy with the job they did on my daughters nose. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was friendly, funny and seemed to know what he was doing. He was done so fast and gave my daughter verbal instructions on what to do and not to do when caring for her piercing. I can't remember the exact price but I believe it was around 25 or maybe 35$. Anywho I gave him a tip, which seemed unexpected. Wasn't really sure of the protocol, when I was a kid we used ice and pierced our own stuff(I don't recommend)!! I went in on June 1, 2019 to get my nose pierced. The next couple of months was hell. I ended up getting a keloid type bump and I realized it may have been because my body was rejecting the piercing. I went in after a month of getting the piercing and we changed the ring out to a titanium bar. The bump went down for a small amount of time and came right back. I tried EVERYTHING! I bought so many products from Lotus and have made numerous trips there to have them look at my nose to try and get this bump to go away with other suggestions the guy had. As much as I loved the piercing, the bump totally killed my mojo. I finally decided, F it. I'm going to go and get this thing removed and hope my problems with my nose go away as much as I adored my piercing. 3 months after getting pierced, I go back to Lotus and there I meet John who was another piercer that I did not know about. I told John when I got my piercing and what I have been going through and how much money I have spent with buying stuff from Lotus to try and help my problem. I also told him I'm over it and want it removed because i had a flat back in place so I couldn't remove it myself. John evaluated my nose in every which way possible. He had me look up, look down, he looked inside my nose and kept looking over and over. He then gave me his thought that he said so confidently and my two options. He noticed that my piercing was off by a millimeter or two because my piercing was not sitting flat against my nose. I did tell him I noticed that too but didn't think much of it. John said I could either remove the piercing all together or he could fix it. Fix it meaning he would need to somewhat re-pierce and move it over just a smidge. Again, he was very confident he could fix my problem. Nervous as I was with every problem going on with my piercing, I decided to get re-pierced. After John did his work, we both noticed such a difference already and since then, my nose piercing has been perfect! John is amazing! Ask for John! Get pierced by John! I was recommended to come here for a helix piercing. I decided I wanted to get doubles . The piercer pierced both of my helix piercings crooked! I had to take out one due to how crooked it was pierced , the backing of the earring was rubbing against each other at an angle. I still have one helix piercing but it is crooked and causes me pain every day even with properly cleaning the piercing daily as if it is fresh pierced and I was pierced almost 2 years ago now. I'm ready to take it out now the second helix piercing. Waste of money sadly ! :( read more
