I was initially worried considering Dec-Jan is still a busy time with company parties, holiday events, winter weddings/baby-showers, year-end celebrations, etc...but they were so easy to work with and we received soooooo many compliments on the day of our January event. Nice enough guy. One of the video guys was pretty clean. The others was a little too funky for my taste. My issue was they were completely invasive in the wedding ceremony. I've heard less clicking and seen fewer video guys at White House press briefings. It was like having paparazzi at Elvis Presley's wedding. I'm surprised he didn't ask the pastor to move over so he could get a closer shot. It was ridiculous. There was a photographer with a different company who was flashing his lightbulbs so much that I went into an epileptic seizure. And his camera he said couldn't turn off the click click click click sound. So all you heard was like a paparazzi buzz of clicking. We hired Scott for his DJ and MC services and were happy how professional he was at his job. He gave us a sizeable planner, but for a hands-on person like me it wasn't too much of an ordeal. A lot of our guests spoke Vietnamese and he did offer to refer a Vietnamese-fluent MC, but we ultimately didn't need to do that. He was accommodating to our request for open karaoke and provided a monitor and microphone. Guests were able to give him requests and he puts in the songs that he can find on Youtube at no charge to us (Before anyone goes "Pff, I can put up Spotify and Youtube myself/with a family member" and it has nothing to do budget restrictions, please read up the success and failure stories with this method. Lotus Events was in charge of getting a projector setup during our wedding reception, and I wanted to specifically call out Jeremy for going above and beyond! There were some issues with outlet capacity and power delivery to the projector unit as Jeremy was setting up, but he was able to work through the issues and get everything up and running. That's not the best part, though. Jeremy came back later that evening (once it was a little bit darker) to make sure that the projector was displaying our video correctly! I didn't think Jeremy had to do that, but he did and our wedding planner went out of her way to let me know how he came back. We had come across Lotus Event Pros via another DJ vendor that we were thinking to book, however they were fully booked for our wedding date, unfortunate, BUT very grateful for this referral as Lotus Event Pros did not disappoint. They had everything we would need and at a very reasonably affordable price point. We worked with Scott, who was very professional and responsive with whatever questions we had. He was also able to edit my aisle walk down song as I asked. He even offered to change our uplighting to double as dance floor lighting when we opened the dance floor (which I had no idea was possible or what that meant initially), but so glad he did because it helped set the dancing vibes. Scott works with you and sends over a music planner for you to fill out and review together during a planning meeting to make sure everything runs smoothly and all the songs you want to be played are played. I would say everything went smoothly and Scott was able to keep our guests dancing throughout the entire night which was the most important for us (and there was even an "encore" even after the lights were turned back on). The photobooth prints were customizable where we provided our preferred fonts and color theme and Scott sent over a mock-up design. We were pleased with the initial mock-up the first time around and did not have to spend much time on the photobooth details. I liked that you could choose between the square prints vs. strips as we prefer strip prints. We were sent a link to download all the digital copies including the original photos within a few days. We also really liked that you could fit a large group into 1 frame. I had recommended Lotus Event Pros to a collegiate organization I work with as the group had booked a venue for a formal event that did not provide catering or any other event services. The original event was supposed to happen in March 2020 (yes, the same month the world went into Covid-19 lockdown), so obviously our event was postponed. We were FINALLY able to have our event this past May and Lotus Event Pros was able to deliver beyond expectations. Some prices did change, but I feel Lotus was up front about the changes, why, and they were willing to work with us so our group could still have a memorable end-of-the-year event within budget. They provided catering (which everyone raved about the appetizers, the food, and the desserts - food was served buffet style so we had guests going for seconds and thirds), the photo booth (which was a HUGE hit), and the DJ. DJ Mish was off the hook - she had everyone on the dance floor and everyone seemed to be having a good time. To ensure everything went smoothly, Jarrod even reached out directly to the venue to coordinate efforts and was able to provide suggestions to the group's organizers.
