Wow! This is not a place to relax at while getting a massage. My sister and I came today because…read moreshe insisted this was a great place. So after years without going for a massage due to Covid, I decided to get a much needed massage. I paid for a 1-hour full body reflexology massage and my sister paid for a 1-hour table massage (or whatever it's called). The lady who might be the owner, covers the front desk, answers all phone calls, greets incoming customers, and oversees the cash register decided to be the one who would do my massage. But during less than 20 minutes of her "massaging me", she received phone calls and text messages, walked away to greet customers who came in, and kept speaking to the other man that works here while he was massaging my sister. Needless to say these interruptions caused her to take time away from what I paid for and lose her focus on what she was supposed to be massaging (she did not massage any of my fingers on right hand before moving to my feet). This is not an ideal way of making your customers feel relaxed. I came here to be relaxed and feel good during my short visit, but due to all of the interruptions and lack of pressure from her while massaging me and lack of lotion/oil to make the massage smoother while rubbing her skin against mine (felt like minor rug burns when she actually applied a little pressure) I started to feel upset and tense. I decided to speak up and ask her to just stop the massage because I wasn't able to relax and enjoy what I came in for. She seemed very confused as to why, I told her due to the amount of interruptions I cannot relax and enjoy what I paid for. I appreciate that she honored my request to refund me for the remaining time I had paid for; but I will NEVER return to this establishment again, I will stick to another location that's 10 minutes away. I don't mind paying the prices they have here, that was not the issue by any means, I didn't get the experience I paid for. Maybe others will have better luck here, but I know for certain this is not a place I recommend and I know for a fact there are many options nearby to check out instead. Ps They do not put any linens on the massage chairs/tables, just put a small towel on top of you.

Maybe $20 would have crossed my mind if you didn't leave the room 8 times and cut my massage short by 20 minutes. So I said never mind to the tip and I'm 99.99% sure she called me mean names This place is a joke. Avoid it at all costs. I ignored reviews because I like to try things on my own but here I am hoping to prevent another massage seeker the disappointment. oh and they didn't even offer me a sip of water after like all the other place

And prints out a second receipt, I had to remind her only 50$ on my card . Honestly if they're going to be so pushy about the tip they should post that on their price list . She screamed, "This has happened many times to me and you need to pay me"!!, I calmly showed her the transaction on my phone which was pending, she then again screamed at me "SEE YOU HAVE NOT PAID ME"!!!! Vickie did an amazing job and devoted an entire hour to massaging my aching feet. The salon feels like a real spa should and is calming and comfortable. I highly recommend it. It is spotless, the prices are fair, has plenty of parking, and extended hours. ABC Spa is new to the Charleston area. If you are looking for a real massage, give them a try. I have already booked my next appointment.
