I used Lou to install a new Central Air and a new gas furnace unit. This job was not cheap but I was told by some neighbors that Lou was very thorough in his work and estimates. You can trust Fasano's work and he stands behind it. Lou explained all my options and recommended the proper sized units I should use. Lou is a Trane installer but didn't push me to use them. He will install other brands. Lou beat other estimates, though by the word of mouth I already had chose Lou to do the job. Watch out for other big name companies who give you inflated quotes then do a half/ *** job. Then try to get them to come back if you have any problems. Lou is on call 24/7 if you have a problem, you can rest assured that he will fix you up. Give Lou a call, you will be satisfied. My old furnace was working fine but was I am guessing it was over 30 years old, the central air was also working fine but around 27 years old. Plus the new Trane units I had installed are much more energy efficient. I wanted peace of mind with new units and I am glad I had the job done as the old heater regulator was starting to crack from age. It could have filled the house with deadly carbon monoxide gas. Even though I have smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, I now have peace of mind knowing that all is new and properly installed. Lou's team showed up in force and on time. They proceeded to lay down tarp in my living area to keep it clean. Lou put all his team on the job. The job went well and the team cleaned everything up nicely afterwards. This was no small job as complete new units were installed and the venting to the upstairs rooms had to be reconfigured. The furnace vent itself had to go through the side of the house as the new furnaces are so efficient that exhausting the new furnace would do damage to the terracotta liner in the chimney as the new heater does not throw out enough hot air to keep the liner clean. I did not know this. Lou explained. It would have been easier to just vent like the old furnace did but Lou explained that the proper way would be through the side of the house. The old furnace probably exhausted 45% of the heat right up the chimney. The new furnace takes that wasted heat and throws it into your house instead. Other companies might not tell you this as going through the chimney is much easier to do. But over the years you might need chimney repairs because of this. Lou also showed me that my hot water heater vent needed screws to be in code and the seal in the chimney was old and dried out. Lou's crew then fixed that problem too. They didn't have to it is just the kind of work Lou does. Lou like to do a through job, and goes above and beyond just installing the new units. If he sees something else wrong he will tell you and even fix it for you. Lou is very knowledgeable and thorough with his all of his work. No short cuts for Lou, it is do the job right the first time. Give Lou a call if you need a new unit or even if your older units are needing service or fixing, you will be happy you did. Disclaimer here, I did not know Lou except by word of mouth before I had this job done. I would definitely use Lou again, but I should not need him for a very long time. My boiler was leaking after 6 months of moving into my house. Lou was great. He asked me to text him a few pics and he diagnosed the issue. Of course i got 2-3 other people come out and give me quotes between $600-$3000 ($3000 was because i needed all my piping redone). I called Lou back and he sent out John his technician. Turned out to be exactly what Lou diagnosed through a few pictures. A circulator pump gasket. $215 dollars later, problem solved and my boiler no longer leaked. I didn't need all those other things the other companies said I did. :( I called Lou the following spring to service my new AC Unit and he said I could wait till the 3rd year since the unit was new. He could've taken advantage and just sent the tech out, but he was honest and i appreciate that. His tech John has been out once to service my boiler and last week to service my AC unit for the first time. So I've used them 3 times now in the past 2 years and I'm very happy. I feel I can trust Lou. He could've made money off me and instead he was honest and said I didn't need service yet. His prices are fair. His primary technician John is great. Friendly, knowledgeable and explains what he did. He is courteous and considerate. Came with shoe protectors so he didn't track dirt in my home and he was always wearing a mask. Very happy with the service provided by Lou Fasano. He assisted in providing a new wall unit matching the exact measurements to our old unit even though his company does not normally replace residential wall units. He was extremely fair in his billing practice (as initially we had believed it would be a repair but broke down completely after a part was ordered). He obtained a refund for the part on our behalf. His technician, John, was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable as was Jessica, the woman who answers their business line. I hired Lou Fasano Heating and Cooling recently to replace a whole home humidifier in my home. I attempted to get quotes from a few different companies before deciding. Most companies I contacted either never provided me a quote after coming to my house or scheduled me out 3 weeks just to provide me a quote. Lou Fasano's was the only place that provided me a quote almost immediately and set up an install date within a week of me moving forward with there company. We had a dual system installed in a 60 year old home with base board heating. Our home needed full duct work in the attic and basement. Lou and his team were professional and worked daily until the job was complete. He brought in a team of cleaners to remove all the dust. They even cleaned the windows.
