I don't understand how this 'business' has almost 5 stars. We tried 'it' for our dogs. When we arrived it was a dirty old shed with a 'makeshift' cage out of what appeared to be old lockers or something. The man was fine-initially- but the whole situation gave bad vibes. We left the dogs, big mistake. 5-10 minutes later he called us that our puppy was aggressive. While still on the call he was YELLING at our 14 month old Shih tzu. Side note: He weighs 14 lbs. He's around children and the public all day. He comes to work with us... He is not aggressive. We said we would be right back and drove right back. Upon arrival he was cutting our other dog. He was asked to stop but kept cutting. He was asked again to stop but kept ignoring my husband. Since returning home, our dog has not stopped crying and rubbing his behind. He is obviously in pain. From our interactions we believe him to be very rough with the animals. We are now contacting our vet. He was a very dismissive older man with a disgusting 'shop' and no patience for animals. He said he's semi-retired. He should probably go ahead and finish. We weren't looking for a deal, he was actually more than expensive than our regular place. We just wanted someone good with the dogs which was why we left them after initially arriving... Never again. read more

Excellent service. I've been wary of taking mocha to groomers because we've had really bad experiences in the past, but not with Louie. We will def be coming back. Def recommend A few things: cash only, the entrance is on the right side of the house, you have to walk towards the backyard and pass the gate. You will see the salon in the back. Louie has been grooming my Pomeranian for a few months now and has always done a great job! In the past I've had horrible experiences with local mobile grooming companies leaving cuts on my dog, not providing the haircut I requested, and poor communication and I've experienced none of the above with Louie. True dog whisperer!! I have an old very skittish dog that can't see well but Louie was AMAZING with him!! He sat on the ground with until he kept comfortable & was able to pick him up. You won't find that kind of treatment anywhere else! Most groomers have had to stop because my dog gets too nervous & they can't finish. But my guy did great and was calm after a few minutes! Seriously a miracle. I went there thinking he may not get fully groomed but we left a very clean & perfectly groomed little guy! Don't be scared because the address is a house but if you walk in on the right side of the gate there is a shed in back that is perfectly equipped for grooming. I even got to sit and watch. Place is shabby and unkept looking. My female dog's private parts were shaved so extremely close, she shakes when trying to urinate as in if pain, something she never did before. I would post pictures of how awful my dog looks but don't know how. She was hairy ( terrier mix) with hair growing unevenly from previous cut (reason why I took her here)but now she's almost bold all around with some spots on her body shaved so close I'm putting neosporine to ease the rawness which causes her pain. read more

We are super happy with Louie's grooming. I am super duper attached to my dog so picking a groomer who treats him well aside from grooming him well is very important. I have read reviews so I knew his grooming location is in the back of his house which appears slightly sketchy but when you get there its clean, has all grooming stuff (tub, utensils, cage, etc). He is licensed with the state of Florida and all his certificates hang on the wall. Louie is an outgoing guy and did a great job on my not so easy pup. Mickey isn't a fan of people but when we picked him up not only did he look and smell good but he was smiling and was not shaking. What can I say? Not only that I like it but I love it! I love how easy it was to contact the owner & set up an appt for a next day while all other places were already booked. I love that he speaks English, yes, it's important for me since pretty much all places around don't speak English very well and even we are in South Florida it's still United States of America, not Cuba. It was very nice to have small conversation with the owner on English. The place is little bit hard to find if you're the 1st time here like it was me but if you are lost make sure you'll call him and he can guide you where you should go. Now, the service. His place has everything as a regular grooming would have: bath tub, cages, grooming station & all grooming appliances. I have a small dog - Shih-Tzu and it's ridiculous to get a full grooming in other places, they charge more then $70 & some extra services not even included in this price which makes full grooming almost hundred bucks. I love my dog and don't mind spend $$$ on her but bc we do grooming once in every 2-3 month you can image how much it's per year just for dog's grooming. So talking about the price - it's a very nice & very reasonable. This was our first visit but I like it very much. He did a puppy cut for my adult dog and it was and still is so cute. Louie did a great job grooming our Bernedoodle puppy (she was about 4 months when we went to him for her first grooming)! He was so knowledgeable about how to groom a puppy's coat without affecting the grownup coat coming in, and I'm so appreciative for that! We arrived and were led to the back of a house. In the backyard was a small house. His dog salon is set up on this building. It wreaks of smoke. And he had someone painting a cabinet in this small space while he washed my dog. My dog was incredibly uncomfortable and crying. My dog NEVER cries. He's usually amazing with baths and nail trims. But the owner was VERY rough and fast and was not careful to keep soap out of my dogs eyes like I requested because he has a medical issue and cannot close his eyelids. This was a terrible experience and I would warn anyone from taking their dog to him. Not unless you want them handled roughly by a man who clearly is just in it for the money and to smooth talk you while he aggressively grooms your dog. read more

There was a cat before us getting groomed who was leaving and as soon as we got there he started on my baby. He gave him an awesome styled cut that we picked out, cut his nails, exposed his anal glands, and cleaned and brushed his teeth he actually got a huge piece of Planck off his teeth that was missed at his normal yearly dental cleaning. I am happy I found Louie and his amazing service! My pup is very nervous around new groomers but Louie definitely made my tea cup chihuahua feel so loved. Louie greeted me so well and I felt that my dog was in a very safe space. My dog is a short haired, tiny dog (barely 5 lbs) and was long overdue for a nail trim. I called Louie around 10 AM and he was more than happy to accept my dog. I took my dog in at 10:30 AM and by 11:25, my dog was done. I read a lot of Yelp reviews, but I just made an account so I can comment on Louie's grooming myself. My dog has been groomed for eight years, and after moving to Florida we needed to find a new spot. I saw that people seem generally happy here, so we brought her over. I've never had her groomed so perfectly! I got the exact length I asked for (burrs are everywhere, so I wanted it short but not ridiculously short), and her head, paws, and tail were left perfect, much better than any groomers we've ever had. I know my dog is wriggles a lot, so our old groomer took a while to get everything done. Louie needed less than an hour, which includes teeth cleaning and getting her nails fixed; even a small ear infection that I missed was taken care of, all for a great price. I'm extremely happy with the result and will be back every two months, but unlike my previous experiences, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The pup is happy, too--Louie really does have a way with dogs, it takes me half an hour just to brush her fur out myself! read more
