I wouldn't trust them for grooming. You can see right into their grooming area and I just witnessed a groomer scruff a small, terrified dog while shaving him. He was also jostling the dog around in an impatient and frustrated manner. I personally would have been very upset if that was my dog and I felt horrible for the little guy. This groomer had no kindness in what he was doing. I spoke to the manager who said scruffing was normal during dog grooming. This was a tiny dog. The situation would have been much safer with another groomer helping to hold him and maybe a gentler approach. Great place to shop since they have a huge selection (chewy is cheaper for a lot of stuff tho). But grooming? Nope don't trust them read more

She left abruptly in August or early Sept which makes me sad because she was very caring and compassionate with me and my dogs - and my dogs loved her. I'll miss her a lot. We had a slight bit of a wait even though we had an appointment, there was another guest waiting ahead but only one person we saw available to do the service. The service itself was good. Honestly i wasn't expecting to go into the place and help hold my pup, i thought it was more drop off but either way it was done well and complete. The price was totally worth it in my opinion. I think the area could also be extended, it felt really cramped in there, i can't imagine working in that tiny space for several hours. I have been a very happy customer for over ten years. The store is always clean, fully stocked and well staffed. Valerie took excellent care grooming our Bichon Frise, Robyn, who was a sweet, delicate, people hating old lady. It was a no brainer to bring our new young dog there too. Atlas is a Shihtzu with a lot of energy, wiggles and a big personality. He loves Valerie and Leanne and they are so patient and sweet to him. Such an amazing store, nice and friendly staff. Everyone is always working to make sure the store stays nice and shoppable for the customers. I would never say this normally, but they are a top tier store compared to their competitors. I've not been to another location, so this is my first impression of the company and I will say that I am beyond impressed. They offer grooming (which I've stayed and talked to the groomers while they are working and they are super kind and knowledgeable about the dogs), a self wash, and a large variety of products to meet the needs of all your pets. I even see they have small selection of chicken food (I have 6) so it's nice to be able to do a one stop shop instead of going so many places ! read more

NEVER BUY AN ANIMAL/PET FROM HERE I am currently writing this review with tears, from all the heartbreak/distraught this place has caused me and my family. I recently bought a ferret last Sunday 05/18/25 and when we got her we saw she was skinny but thought it was normal because she was only 5 months old (only a baby), she was a little playful but notice she was relatively sleepy. However, late Sunday 05/25/25 we noticed a loss of interest in playing and that she didn't want to get up and do anything, and she wouldn't walk, she kept dragging herself everywhere. The next day 05/26/25, we noticed she was still nonactive so we ended up taking her to the vet, when we got there the Dr. told us that she has CANCER and there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO, that it would take a MIRACLE to save her because SHE WAS SO WEAK, and that it would be best to EUTHANIZE HER/PUT HER DOWN. When we went back to the store and told the manager what the vet said, she kept undermining us and acted like she didn't care, the worse attitude, very unsympathetic. All she did was get the ferret, refunded us and reimbursed the money for the vet and said they are going to put her down. I wish they would've done more. I am competely heartbroken over everything that happened, regardless of it being a week of me being with Hazel (our ferret) I/we still bonded with her and loved her so much, she was only a baby. I don't know how can they sell us a sick ferret, I noticed right away when she was off and you're telling me they couldn't tell, when they handled them everyday. Love coming here for grooming! Valerie is awesome and our beagle loves her. We use the self serve grooming area for our belgian malinois and it is extremely convenient. They provide towels and soap. I like to bring my own because theirs is kind of watered down and doesn't lather but for under $10, good deal. Makes it so easy to bathe a big dog! Ever since I found this pet store I haven't gone to another one it's absolutely the best!!! I have never been there and the assistant manager Alan not be there and also be super helpful!!! They also have a self washing station so clean with so many shampoos, aprons, towels and dryers. I love this place its a 10/10! Didn't even know this store was next to Office Depot . I went in because my feral cats are always eating they never leave the yard . They know I love them .!The prices were better than where I usually shop and guess what no hassle getting in and out of this store. I believe I will be buying kitty food at this store from now on . This store also sells fish , birds snakes and hamsters . There is also grooming for the pooch. Parking is good .If you ask for samples they give them out when they have extra. read more

I was just getting my dog groomed there, they have a sign that says 30 percent off grooming with voucher, when I went to pay no one knew about it or said anything so I paid full price. I was just going to let it go, but then I thought about it and even though it only a $21.00 discount , it's still $21.00 right. So when I called to ask why I was charged full price they transferred me to the groomer and she gave me 3 THREE different stories, and they were all contradictory! I asked if I could speak to a manager, oh yes I did(lol), because no one like being overcharged and then LIED to. So she put me on hold for about 4 minutes and then just HUNG UP on me...So I called back and spoke to Lydia(manager) who gave me ANOTHER story, that was nothing like what LEeANn the groomer said, so RIDICULOUS. I asked her "Is it really worth losing a customer over $21?" She reluctantly said she would give me the discount but I had to go back to the store... So you know I went back, the Groomer LEeANn went to the front register and gave me the discount but didn't apologize or even look at me. Everyone makes mistakes, but when you are called out on it and you COMPLETELY LIE, you just look like a bad person, and the manager was no better, Lydia was super rude about it, like she was doing me a favor by honoring the advertisement. So I will definitely not be going back there, and I have been going there for years. So the point is, if you see any of their advertising inside their store take a picture and make sure they honor it. ** LONG HONEST PERSONAL REVIEW ** When I first found out about pet supplies plus, I was very excited as they have everything I've ever needed for my cats, fish, and snakes. I even joined their membership program and they do offer very good deals. They have a wide variety of cat litter and food, they are always stocked up on food for my snakes and many items for my fish tanks. At times, I've gone 2 or 3 days back to back needing something. The employees are all very nice but they are not knowledgeable on their animals or items they sell. However, this review will be based on the animals. For starters, they cram up so many birds into one small cage. More often than none, the reptile water bowls are empty and dirty. The fish section is what really pushed me into writing the review. About a month ago, I visited the store looking for some cat litter and decided to pass by the fish section before heading out as I wanted a new fish for my collection. I noticed many dead fish in multiple tanks but one specific tank of parrot cichlids caught my attention. I noticed the ENTIRE tank had what seemed to be ich. The fish were all very lethargic but one parrot cichlid was fully covered in ich. I asked for an employee to assist me and I had to wait more than 20 minutes( no sarcasm) for anyone to come. When he finally came, I pointed the tank out and he just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know what I was talking about or what ich was and that he'd call a manager over. Mind you, I didn't ask for a manager but ok. Manager came, very polite, I pointed out the tank and fish, manager simply said "oh yea good spotting they do have ich" we had a small conversation and that was it! Every reputable, big or small, and even supply chain pet stores that sell fish, quarantine them and won't even sell them when they see a sign of ich as it is highly contagious to other fish. Not them. In fact, I purchased the most beautiful dying parrot cichlid I saw in hopes I could cure it. They didn't even sell anything to treat ich. I spent $18 for a fish that may or may not die along with a whole new tank, air pump, filter, and food because I knew I couldn't put it in a tank with my other fish.( after spending over $100 on ich treatment meds from another pet store,the fish survived!) Days later, I went back and again, another parrot cichlid tank with half dying cichlids so I again, purchased another $18 half dying cichlid and told myself I will not be purchasing from them again. Fish get the shorter end of the stick and many stores do not put any interest or attention to them as they can easily be replaced in a store. This store doesn't seem to really care for the treatment and comfort of their animals and for those reasons, I will not be going back as I cannot support a location that mass sells animals for purely profit. If you don't care for animals in that sense, and need something, you can go there. But remember what you will be supporting. read more

They were having an issue scanning the manufacturers coupon and telling me it wasn't good anymore and they are doing me a favor. I have a clear picture of it as they still having it advertised .
