I have taken my Frenchie to Nick's three times now and have been overly satisfied with the results. The whole staff is charming and welcoming upon entrance. I love that the door is locked and you have to ring a bell for someone to come and open it (very secure). Tsunami is always friendly and happy upon arrival and she's still her normal self upon pick up so I can attest that she did not experience any stress during her service. I wanted to wait for a few services before reviewing to be sure that it was not a first time impression to bring my dog back but the service has been consistent. It helps that the staff speaks my native language so my dog naturally feels comfortable. Will definitely recommend and keep my scheduled appointments with Nick's.

I took my 9 year old daschund that HATES to have her nail trimmed. I got there and Nick was super calm and gave her the space and time she needed. It was a first time that I saw her having her nails cut without screaming and getting extremely anxious. I couldn't recommend his services enough! This is the only place I have been able to take my stubborn over dramatic Frenchie to without causing a scene... They are able to handle my two difficult princesses in a flash... I usually just drop in without appointment and they squeeze us in without any issues... THANK YOU for being able to work with my difficult dogs when others said they weren't allowed back! read more

We loved Nick's for years! We had to move to Las Vegas and still haven't found a groomer as understanding and detail oriented as Nick. One of our dogs has health issues and it never deterred him from doing a great job! A lot of grooming studios in Las Vegas won't even let us make an appointment because of her health issues. Nick is the groomer you want to go to for your peace of mind! read more

Glad I found Nick's grooming for my Maltipom Rex. The salon is always clean, and I have never seen the staff overwhelmed, they are always very attentive and the salon is actually quiet and peaceful, like a doggy spa. Rex always comes back looking like a million bucks! Soft, shiny and smelling so good! It is obvious that Rex is treated with care and patience, so far I have been very pleased. read more

I took my cat here once for a bath and lion cut when I first moved to the area. She was shedding a ton due to the warmer climate. They were open one day per month just for cats and both my cat and I really appreciated the dog free environment. I think it made her feel much less stressed than I've seen at other establishments that don't have cat only days. It was my cat's first time ever getting groomed and they did a great job making her feel comfortable and she looked absolutely fabulous! Sadly, they no longer groom cats here, but if that were to change we would be back!!! read more

I've brought my dog here a couple of times and have been very happy with the results. I've had bad experiences with many groomers leaving cuts on my dog or just not grooming him the way I asked. But I haven't had that problem here. Making an appointment easy, everyone is very nice, and my dog always leaves with the exact hair cut I wanted. read more

CAT OWNERS: Nick offers the best cat grooming service . Julia, an expert cat groomer and lover, comes one Monday a month. Leila, my white Persian, came out beautiful and relaxed as from a spa session Also, there will be no dogs on that day, allowing a calm atmosphere. The place is neat and sparkling clean. I've been trying to find someone to groom My rascal for about 4 months now. My little shihtzu hated going to PetSmart to get groomed and wouldn't let anyone touch his face. I found Nick on yelp, read the reviews and called for an appointment. When I got there Nick and his team were very friendly and the place looked clean and tidy. I felt totally comfortable leaving my little in his hands. They took about two hours with my problematic baby and when I got him back i almost cried he looked sooo good. He was able to trim his face, something no one has been able to do in over 5 months! The cut was gorgeous and my little man looked so sweet! I can't recommend him enough! Thanks Nick!! read more

i haven't had any issues with this grooming studio. they always leave my puppy's looking so cute! one time my shihtzu had a cut on one of her nipples (they probably didn't see it when shaving her) and i addressed it but i didn't feel like they handled it professionally because they didn't apologize, i just asked for a different person to take care of my dog.. so that was upsetting to me, but other than that.. haven't had any issues! good spot in Ftl. I recommend. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nick and his team. We have been so happy with their work on our beautiful boy. We adopted him a year ago and had taken him for a few different groomers. None of which we loved. I decided to try Nicks after finding him on yelp. I am so happy that we did. He looks amazing every. Single. Time. Nick and everyone are so friendly. Very nice Grooming studio with big open window to see how they take care of our 4-legged kids. Everyone there is very nice and my dog always comes back looking sharp ! Great prices for the services as well. I am adding to my original review because I have been going to Nicks for over a year now (since my review) and I love it. Best groomer I have been to in 20 years. I've read some reviews that seems to lack perspective like the nail cutting in the back or dogs being in crates. Well - the lobby is not a place to safely work with the dogs as people are coming in with other dogs and the dog and groomer are exposed (duhhhhh). The other stupid comment I read was only negative was keeping the dogs in crates and I wonder as opposed to what. Having them run around ??? Loose????! Really then go to a rescue farm for dogs after they are vetted to run loose ! What a dummy that said that. Crates are safe and if your dog is crate trained it isn't an issue it is a safe place. Sometimes the density in people - is hard to relate to. read more

I am beyond pleased with the overall experience I've had with Nick's grooming studio. From the moment I called and booked my apt to the time I picked up my pug it was pleasant, professional, and I most definitely recommend Nicks! I tried a bunch of groomers in Fort Lauderdale when we first got our pup, and finally we found Nick's and never looked back. Nick and his wife are so friendly, warm and welcoming to our dog. Although Charli hates going to the groomer in general, we always feel comfortable knowing she is with Nick. They are quick to turnaround and are reasonably priced as compared to other groomers in the area. They are very personable and have known exactly who we are when we call since we started going to them. Charli always looks amazing when she leaves there - Nick gives the best haircuts! I had tried several groomers in Hollywood and eventually my dog refused to go in the front door. He sat down at the door and I had to drag him. I stumbled upon Nick's unintentionally and have been bringing my dog here ever since. The studio is clean, the staff is super friendly and caring and do a great job! Nick himself definitely loves dogs and it shows. My girl has sensitive skin and had a traumatic nail clipping experience at another place, so she's terrified to get her nails clipped. Nick's flies her nails instead and she does just fine. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their sweet babies here--they really work with you for scheduling, are reasonably priced, and are a really great business! read more

I've been going to Nick's grooming for over a year and it is the longest I have stuck to one groomer for my sweet Teddy. Nick is an exceptional groomer, always does an amazing job with Teddy's cuts. Benji needed a good cut. After seeing all the great reviews, I decided to go check out Nick's. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. I brought Benji in a few days later and spoke with Nick personally. Told him about Benji's needs and how I wanted him to look. A few hours later, I picked up the cutest doggy in the world!! I found this company through Yelp projects, and I was immediately contacted and was provided information on pricing, availability and to essentially set an appointment . Gabriella was the nice young lady that arrived at my complex on time and sent me a few text keeping updated on her ETA prior to arriving. I gave her a bit of information on how I would like my little pup to look and what I was looking for in terms of style. If you have a Yorkie, you know their hair grows super fast! I did ask for her to cut him down as low as possible, keeping his face on the rounded side, she did exactly just that. During the appointment, she texted me a photo of a little scab that was on mu pups ear, to make me aware that was already there and not caused by her. I appreciate it that she took the time to do that, and I had already known about the scab. The appointmentby took about an hour and 15 minutes and when she was done, she alerted me via text. Payment was very simple, as they do accept Zelle. I was very pleased with the outcome, and judging from the look and the action of my pup, I knew he felt comfortable with Gabriella. I'll definitely be contacting them again for future appointment., 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend Dookie's pet grooming.

Took my 3 dogs there and I got to meet Nick the owner and he was so great with my dogs! They loved him and he did such a great job on them. I've been to numerous groomers that were a bit cheaper and let's just say I got what I paid for. Spending the extra $5-$10 was well worth it. I didn't even know my dogs could feel that soft, especially Joon my coarse haired dog. When I picked them up the two girls had holiday bows on their collars and the boy a holiday bandana. Nick's Grooming definitely paid close attention to detail, and after the 10th grooming I get one free! Definitely money well spent. I'm so happy with the turn out! read more

New to Fort Lauderdale with my Yorkie. I like to have her groomed a certain way and I wanted someone convenient to East Las Olas where we live. Did some research online and got a good impression from the photos I saw of his work. I was fairly confident that he was talented enough to execute her cut. It was a great choice. He was personable and did a great job on Sadie. Showed him some photos of what I wanted and the results were excellent. My pup and I had the BEST experience at Nick's. My dog has never been to a groomer before and I wanted to take him somewhere he felt comfortable, Nick didn't fall short of making his first bath at a groomers the best experience possible. When I returned to pick my puppy up he not only smelled great but he was SO soft and I can gurantee you he's never smelled so good in his life. Nick also was able to squeeze me in the day I called for an appointment and made me feel like I can always trust him with my dog child haha. I will always go to Nick's!! read more

DONT GO HERE. I pointed out that my dog has a skin tag on her snout. They didn't listen and cut the tag that's now been a cut for over 4 months. I took her to the vet etc. my dog is 15 yrs old and it hurts her every time I clean it as it won't heal. I texted the store and they have yet to pay the vet bill. Never mind that my dog is suffering. STAY AWAY!! THEY HAVEN'T REPLIED TO MY TEXTS OR CALLS. I DONT CARE ABOUT THE MONEY- I care that my 15 yr old is Injured and they don't really care. read more

Definitely recommend Nick's Grooming Studio! I have taken my dog there several times now for grooming and he always comes back looking great. Nick is very accommodating, and so nice to both dogs and owners. He gave my sister and my 3 dogs all flea baths and haircuts and they all came out happy and handsome! read more

Glad to find Nick. I have a 3 year old Bichon who gets very antzy being groomed and Nick did an awesome job. He is softer and cleaner than anyone has every got him before. Looking forward to the next visit. read more
