The only place to take your baby to be groomed and cared for. They actually love animals ( unlike some other places I found where they were so cop) and they treat them very well. You can tell when when you pick up your pet that they were treated well. My nervous Maltese was very relaxed when I picked him up. He was so clean and so cute. They did an awesome job and very detailed. So much better than the mobile groomer we were using. I'm picked and I can promise you that they will impress you at Ultimate Pet. I feel safe leaving Max with them. The price was right as well but least important to me. The cares and quality is what I was looking for. Give them a call. I have been using them for years. I've used this groomer many times over the past few years and have always been pleased. This recent grooming was not good: grooming was less than 3 weeks ago and my dog looks shabby. Paws & legs trimmed poorly - clumps of fur growing in look like boots, face & head left too long, nails left too long. Over all poor. My dog needs grooming again after only 3 weeks. For $50 I expect better. It also took 7 hours from drop off to pick up - too long. read more

I am ridiculously overprotective of my dog, but they did an AMAZING job with her! She does not have crates so she lets the dogs hang out supervised, which I loved (it's scary enough having to be left with a stranger, dogs belong in packs). I asked her to give Ruby a lion-like haircut, and to go super short (hair grows back, after all). She did exactly as I asked, and sent this nervous mama photos throughout the day. My dog has been groomed twice here. The first time I would give them four stars, the second none, if that was allowed. His hair cuts have been okay (a little choppy, uneven, but took into consideration my dog wiggles a lot), but they were kind to him, reasonable, and worked with my crazy schedule. Where my problem lies, how rude the owner just was to me when I called. My dog was groomed yesterday, and I feel his hair should have been shorter, so I called to see if I could bring him back and get his fur taken down half the amount, for it was not as short as what we discussed, he still is too hot. Rather than saying, absolutely, bring him right in, it immediately turned into a lecture from the owner, claiming she did what I wanted. I explained, no it's the same length as his last groom and what was discussed was half as short as that, and she went off - talking how much time they spent and take his shorter would be another cost of a full grooming and this is all my fault.... I close with this, don't waste your time. Like other reviews have mentioned, the pace is not incredibly clean, they have poor customer service, and most definitely do my take direction well. read more

Brought my little chihuahua in for a much needed grooming session. I was a little nervous because she's so tiny and this was my first time at the groomers. But they out my mind at ease they brought my little Pepper back there (all the dogs were SOOO well behaved). When I picked her up she was super adorable but I felt a little too long. It serves convenient for Hollywood Lake's residents, as well as those who live near the downtown Hollywood area. I've been here a couple of times, accompanying my old man and his energetic, I-can't-sit-still-dammit Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Truthfully, our dog really does have a problem with staying still, so this review is an testament to the bravery and friendliness of its rightfully owners. Inside, there's the stores mascot who greets you, with a few couches and seats to for you to wait. The owners are friendly. If there's a wait, they keep the dogs in an enclosed play area (note: it's a cage-less facility) so they can roam around and do whatever dogs do. As far as Full Grooming, prices are as follow: - Toy and Tea Cup Breeds = $30 - Small Breeds = $35 - Medium Breeds = $40 - Large Breeds = $45 - X-large Breeds = $55 FYI, all of their prices include a 15-minute treadmill run with a scenic video (which come to think of it, is equivalent to a porn star running on a treadmill while watching Fox News.). The only downside to the store is that it's located next to a huge loading dock, where all of those large, annoying manufacturing trucks come by. They always have a grand time spending the day with other pups in the "free range" environment. Alex is meticulous about their baths and grooming. He has brought little issues with the girls to our attention such as a red ear, a hot spot, bump, etc. Brie and Koko love going to spa day at Ultimate Pet Grooming. This place is filthy. My dog got a bath here and two days later almost died from an e-coli infection.

Customer focus from this groomer was completely ignored. I st down with the owner and her husband and specifically said I did not want my Golden buzzed and to keep her coat long. When I went to pick her up, she was buzzed to the skin! My dog looked horrible and all the owner could say was I am sorry. I now have to be careful to not let my dog burn while out in the sun and her coat is ruined. She is no longer soft and her hair is course. I am extreamly unhappy with lack of customer focus/requests/needs. The owner did not even come out to apologize herself. I would never take my dog here again. read more

Took my neurotic psychopathic chichuahua there and they did an awesome job!!!! I felt terrible for them because I know how badly he behaves but They took great care of him and even taped him while he was being petted to calm him down after the shampoo. Very unhappy. I came in for a nail trim and they trimmed my dog's hair (paws and pubic) without asking me permission. What disturbs me most is the trimming of the pubic hair. The hair is there to help direct the flow of urine away from the body and keep it away from his skin. My dog will now experience irritation for next few months until it grows back.
