I shopped local stores but because I was returning home soon I could not get any alterations done before I would leave. I stopped in this store just to see what I could do, and was very pleasantly surprised that I could buy necessary items and have them for my size. The manager, Kim, assured me they would have them before I left. Due to the lateness of my order (late afternoon) the pants did not make the delivery for the next day, but I was called by Kim and assured they would be there the following day before I boarded my plane. Kim came in on her day off, 2 hours before the store opened, to meet me and provide the pants. Outstanding service and I'm completely happy with the extra effort that was provided to accommodate me!!!

Apparently, this is THE place to rent and buy costumes in Fort Wayne. They've been operating in the city since 1949! It's also the place to buy fake poop, fake barf, fake teeth, fake mustaches, fake hair and fake Spam. (The fake Spam is actually a decoy secret safe.) They also sell lots of silly gifts, corny mugs, cringey t-shirts, ironic greeting cards, and a lot of Marvel things, for some reason. Stoner's has three rooms of "things that you didn't know you needed but can't live without," according to the delightful woman who works here. She literally said that while standing behind the counter, and I immediately and covertly wrote it down in the notes section of my phone because it was so great. This same woman convinced me to try on a dress from the costume section that looked like it had the Eye of Sauron on it and was $3, because she said, "You're so small, you could fit into this costume and wear it for real." I mean, if an older woman who works in a costume shop called Stoner's Funstore says that you're small and would look good in an Eye of Sauron dress that used to be a costume, you try on the dress. Unfortunately, the proportions were all wrong, so I had to put the dress back on the rack. The vibe at Stoner's is cool and laid back, the people who work here are friendly and helpful, and the store is centrally located in downtown Fort Wayne, with lots of parking, which is a rarity for downtown Fort Wayne. This is a good place to visit if you're looking for a silly gift or costume for Halloween, or any time, really.

He told a coworker (older looking lady with a mean RBF) I needed help, and she scoffed at him and began arguing with him. This is when I decided to leave. I returned later after I got off work around 8pm. The old man with the nasty slick back hair told me they don't do measurement and I wasn't allowed to try anything on. I left and went straight to Louie's Tux Shop where I was actually treated with respect. My wedding party of 10 groomsmen will all be taking our business and our $$$ fat wallets $$$ to Louie's. Men's Warehouse has the worst customer service I've ever seen and this place needs to be shutdown and condemned for the rest of eternity. I don't even know how they get any customers at all. They lack all skill of treating anyone with the least bit of human decency. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

When we arrived, the store was very busy, so I asked the cashier how to check in for our appointment. Instead of giving a professional or helpful response, he rudely waved his hand in the air toward a group of people gathered for measurements and said "as you can see there are lots with appointment." We went over to that area, but no one acknowledged us or asked whether we had an appointment. Meanwhile, other customers who came in after us were greeted and helped before we were. I never heard mention of an appointment, thus the impression was most, if not all were walk-ins. After waiting 10-15 minutes, and feeling completely overlooked, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Mind you, the tall, older gentleman manning the register was just standing there watching. We went to Louie's across the street, and even though they were also busy, they were friendly, welcoming, and acknowledged us right away. We chose to go back the next day and had a far better experience at Louie's. The staff had us in and out in 15-20 minutes! I've used Men's Wearhouse in the past for business attire, but after this experience, I won't be returning. Even when compared to my best experiences at Men's Wearhouse, Louie's outshines them!
