I…read moreasked a volunteer about the prices, and she tried to help but said she wasn't sure because she was new. I understand being new, but items should absolutely be priced so customers don't have to guess. Another thing I noticed while looking around is how extremely small the shopping area is. The building itself is huge, and I know the entire layout because I've been there before it became a thrift store and food pantry. It's surprising that such a tiny portion is actually used for the store. Now let's talk about the pricing. Pants are $5.00 each -- for used pants. Shirts and pajamas are $3.00. Kids clothes are $3-$5 depending on what you pick. Socks are $1.00 a pair... for used socks! And then there are the used undergarments. VERY used underwear and bras are $3.00 EACH. Used. Most of them showed extreme wear. That's honestly shocking. The store itself is extremely disorganized. Nothing makes any sense and there is no clear system to how things are arranged. Items are placed everywhere with no rhyme or reason. It's so cramped and packed that only one person can comfortably shop in an area at a time. Another thing that really bothered me: while I was there, four volunteers were going through donated items and setting certain things off to the side that they were planning to take home. So if you donate to this thrift shop thinking everything will go back to the community, just know that some items appear to be getting picked through first. Overall, the place felt chaotic, overpriced for the condition of items, and poorly organized. It really needs better pricing, better organization, and much better use of the large space available.

My favorite part was all the art work and vintage decor that is upstairs. The art is reasonably priced for original work($100-$200). I imagine all the unique pieces sell quickly. It's great shopping for farmhouse, mid-century and everything in between. Lastly, there was an extra friendly woman who was working and setting up a new display. I was the only person in there during that time but I am sure she is always helping locals who stop in to find that perfect, unique gift. I was blown away at their diverse selection. Upstairs was vintage antiques- some items were expensive while others were reasonable. The prices were typical for any type of antique/boutique shops in the Fort Wayne area. Downstairs was a large selection of knick knack gifts. I especially noticed the different card selection- you won't find cards like these at Walgreens. Great for a personal touch. I was looking for a gift for my nephew's upcoming 2nd birthday. I was pleased to find a decent selection of child toys and clothes! I love finding him presents that are different from the limited selection at larger chain stores. In the back of the downstairs is a room filled with women's clothes, bags, accesories. Staff is friendly and they tried to keep the store clean but there were clothes everywhere that were disheveled and disarray. You def have to look at each piece of clothing in the racks to see what you're getting but they do a good job of labeling sizes and what is in each isle. But watch out cause I saw many items with dog or cat hair left on them, stains or small tears in the clothing Some items are priced well while others are way overpriced. They have a ton of shoes and some look new while others are so scuffed and worn you wonder why they're selling them. They also sell new items that is the stores. It's expensive. They have tons of dressing rooms and I didn't have to wait in line for one. But it was a huge mess. They also limit the amount of items you can take in to 6 only. Checking g out was another story. Very long lines and people leaving with bags and bags loaded to the top with clothing. Overall I'm glad we stopped by but it's no different than the other resell store in Fort Wayne.

The style seems to mostly appeal to the high school/early college set while the prices are more appropriate for soccer moms. Although I found several cute things, the quality of the clothes did not give me hope that the items would last for very many washes or for more than one season. Prices were a bit high (around $50 average, per piece) compared to similar styles at chain stores and there were no plus size options. It was a fun stop to look around, but not where I plan to do a majority of my shopping.
