They exist for revenue from attorneys, not from reviewers and readers of reviews. I posted a review on Avvo and after a while it was removed because I hadn't actually hired him. I tried, I REALLY DID TRY! Plus, I did have direct contact with his practice. When I get a chance, I'll read Avvo's TOS and see if that's really a rule or if this fellow told them to remove it. Anyway, I got no response to my email, so I called and left a message. No return call. I called his office mid-day and couldn't get past the gatekeeper who acted like she was doing me a great big favor to even take 2 minutes out of her busy day to give me information. Here's how his Nurse Beedle will treat you: You'll be emailed a questionnaire. Once you take an hour to fill it out and fax it in you will get no response. Then you call and ask WTF and you'll be told it can take up to two weeks to review your case. Seriously? What if somebody only has an urgent matter or couple questions that it's best for an attorney to answer and are willing to PAY for that privilege? Not gonna happen. Once you've hired another attorney; like about two months later, you'll get a letter from his office saying that he doesn't have time to help you. Ya think? Guess a hungrier attorney is in order.
